Tbh I feel William suffered the most, from his parents' failed marriage to Princess Di's death. Being the oldest child, he had lots of expectations and burdens on him. To go through all that, just at the age of 15, is something I can't ever imagine having to go through.

When Diana took her sons to places like Centrepoint she wanted them to be aware that they were privileged. Apparently one son learned from her advice and one didn't.

To be fair, he was forced to marry someone he wasn't in love with. It doesn't matter how good looking or kind she was. This was no more than an arranged marriage of sorts.

And i do think Diana did to an extent enjoy the spotlight but as any 19 year old I don’t think she fully realised what it meant to be married to a crown prince. And you can’t deny that yes the royal family is cruel (the way they didn’t let Charles get married to Camilla in the first place) however it’s also cruel that they let the marriage of him and Diana get ahead knowing he wasn’t interested. Nobody no matter how power hungry or glory hungry they are likes being cheated on or being humiliated in that manner. I never thought of this until I found out this on my own. I'm telling you what I found out after wasting almost my whole life with a narcassist...your chosen partner can be jealous of you. They will steal any of your ideas or knowledge and pass it as there own. Anything you do is not good enough you get treated so wrong and when they see they can't hurt you they will find other ways to hurt you.....and when does don't work they will try and try until they succeed. When your finally hurt, they will use any human tactics to finish you. Only the strongest survive. They will not do it in front of anyone, they will play a great act in front of everyone but when you arealone is like seeing the demons true faces without there mask. I don't understand why such wicked people have to exist. They will harm you so much that you will end up wanting to die because you see no escape. I agree because the expectations for William were so different. She adored Harry because he didn’t appear to be royal, he pulled faces at photographers, he was full of mischief but he adored her back and didn’t give a fig about the fact that he was royal, which showed in some of his antics as an almost adult, at parties. He was hurting and didn’t care what people thought of him, I can understand that.

Now that Harry has been speaking about "his reality" I realize that the person who suffered the most and perhaps is still suffering is William. The day Will decides to tell his side of the story, it will certainly be more shocking and more revealing than anything that anyone has said. Silence is gold! Will knew the good and bad side of his mum. At some point, he was her confident. She wanted to raise a man who will be the people's King, a King who can relate to ordinary people just like Will is right now. Will was in the middle of his parents rifts, he was old enough to see, understand and feel what was going on, at the same time trying to protect his younger brother (who def could not understand everything at the time), on top of that he had the pressure of being correct because of the duties that awaited him. It's interesting to watch this considering what has just happened recently regarding Harry. He obviously idolises his mother, whereas maybe William sees her as a normal human with flaws. I am not sure I would use the word "idolise" because it seems that Harry has a very unhealthy vision of his mother. He believes that Diana has a connection with his wife and even when he refers to his private parts he has to mention that he used his mother's favourite cream to soothe. This is not normal.
I'm 4 years younger than Diana, and remember the wedding, how beautiful she was walking down the aisle, her children, her funeral... So surreal now.....

I remember when Diana died. My own daughter grieved for her. A mother herself, she commented “what are those two boys going to do without their mother?” Two years later my daughter passed away, also leaving two very young boys. I’ll never forget that.

He literally had his mistress at his wedding, and she found a necklace the day before the wedding with their initials engraved in it, at their house. HE should have fought to keep her if he really loved her, which it’s obvious he didn’t because he made 0 effort to change himself and work on the marriage.
She did have self love. She demonstrated that getting out and doing the harder things she did on her own. I believe she was very brave and did it as kind as she could under the circumstances. The bad actions of others are on them. Charles did not deserve Princess Diana and never will.

I don't know how to respond to anyone who would think or even verbalize that a mother would show favoritism between her children no matter what. Each child is loved equally and is never led to believe he/she is more loved than the other or more important than the other.From the very first time we lay eyes on our children we instantly know who will be more independent or who needs more reassuraning and understanding. You can guide but you cannot force your opinions on either of them. Their personality is set, their destiny in most cases is already set, what will be, will be. As they say "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."

The extremely sad part of this whole situation is the great concern for Harry because he walked behind his mother's casket as a young boy but absolutely shows No Concern for William who walked beside him as a young boy as well. I think he was too young and wounded to have walked there. Not sure even a good shrink could have helped him...he was already influenced against the throne. Taught that he was made to be less when that was an awful thing to teach a young boy. The truth is he had at least as much value as every one of us.

If it was left up to the Queen the RF would have done nothing for Diana’s funeral or has that been forgotten as well? But again as we know now once the flight was made with Diana’s body that plane was permanently retired!
