He, aren't most behaviors learned or worse, encouraged by family? So maybe behavior genes can be over-ridden by family traits or stronger, seasoned behaviors in the adults around them. Harry lost his mother at 13 years old. That in itself is an awkward age, but to lose a parent you are so close to. He didn't receive any type of grief or MH counseling. He was raised knowing he was the "spare." He was a normal kid doing stuff teens do and add that to having cameras shoved in his face and growing up with grief. He has grown up and taken all of his mother's dreams and work to heart.

I'm a parent of boys not much older than Harry & William were when they lost their mum. Watching the boys interactions with their mother- the snuggles, cuddles, the running hug at school and thinking of how much young boys need and treasure that tactile love, warmth my heart really breaks for them. I can't imagine what my boys would go through without me to ruffle hair or give a spontaneous kiss and squeezes. They lost their mother far too young.

The problem is that he continued his scandals long after he was an adult. He can only blame his behaviour on his mother's death for so long. There comes a time we need to take responsibility for our own actions. Fortunately, his family strongly encouraged to get treatment and therapy.
He was doing so much better, but the past couple of years have been disappointing. It is disappointing that he and his wife have said so many untruths that can be fact checked in seconds. Such is life. Most of us have a relative who we sadly shake our heads over and wish better for. I think they put it well when they said Harry was great when he got his own way.

She had 7children and died of double Pneumonia at age 31. I went home to my Daddy and my siblings. I blamed no one. I learned I was responsible how I turned out and I still never blamed anyone if I made mistakes. It’s called tough love.

Many people lose their Moms at a young age. Many have to care for their siblings. Many dont have any money. Many don’t have another parent. Many don’t live in Palaces and have fancy holidays. Harry had so much more than most…..and he threw it all away.

I am not royalty nor am I rich. My mother died when I was nine years old. She was also only 36 years old, I’m 64 now.I don’t blame the world and other people from my woes. I acknowledge that his mother died horribly but the man is pushing 40 I think it’s time for Harry to move on in his life. If he can’t then he needs A really good therapist. The media goes on and on and on about his age when his mother died and how awful it was to walk behind the casket, which I’m sure for the young boy it was. Stop making excuses and giving excuses to this father of two. It’s time for Harry to grow up

It's obvious why Harry hungered for any attention. His father didn't want him from birth. Charles transferred his own insecurities to Harry. After all Prince Phillip was disappointed in him for not being into sporty things or having a more bold character like his own. I know from experience that when a man is in adultery he feels disconnected from his wife and baby usually denying he's the father. Parents often assume the child doesn't hear what's said about him or he won't notice the difference in treatment of siblings. Since Charles was in line to be the next king a lot that he did was covered up or toned down in the press by the royal machines hired for that. William is more quiet in manner like his grandmother and Charles. Harry is more like Prince Phillip with some Spencer boldness. If you compare photos you'll see the resemblance with Prince Phillip. Harry may not be handling things in the wisest or royal way. Hopefully he will come to terms that you are still ok even if your parent doesn't love you. You can forgive and have some kind of relationship with them without expecting anything most people do. The Queen's speech for Diana was probably written for her but none of the past can be recovered. I hope he can move on and be happy and wiser than what it seems in his youth.
