      I injected Prf multiple times under eye with these chemicals. Last time I did. I swelled up more then usual

      @@Cinren This is why you need to use the correct tubes. I hope swelling goes down and you don't lose too much volume loss from the chemicals.

    Great videos and really well explained! I did a trial run with 160 g for 4 minutes and it took the prf longer than 35 minutes to clot. With 70 g for 4 minutes there were clots after 28 minutes. According to your research 160 g should give a higher platelet concentration but why am I observing a longer time until it clots? I would be assuming a longer time until it clots means less platelets?

    We use PRF for face injections. Do you think glass tubes are superior to plastic?

    • @prfedu
      @prfedu  Před 3 lety +8

      Plastic is better for that application as it will minimize clotting (you want it to stay liquid as long as possible).

      @@prfedu Why the blood is clotting in C-PRF? neither we are using clot activators nor glass/silica coated tubes, so it shouldn't clot right?

      Wow. Just wow. I have learned so much from watching your videos. My gosh the tubes! What you discovered was happening is insane! So thankful for your research and for finding out there was a major problem happening with the tubes that people were using then making a solution, a reputable solution. Really thankful for your research and your team. Great videos! Stellar information! Keep up the phenomenal work!

    I just want affordable plastic vacutainers with nothing in them to spin iprf. WHY is this so much to ask for!? I think I'm going to just retrofit my centrifuge to hold these 10ml sterile plastic vials I got online.

    Hello dr .
    I bought lots of tubes for my clinic but when I did water test there are foam showing . I don’t want to get ride of the tubes , so my question is this can I put the additives down the sink and rinse it with water before I use it on patient. But the tubes not made from glass its plastic tube .
    Any suggestions please ?

      After rinsing, they are no longer considered sterile.

    The water test on red caps and green caps from the
    same manufacturer showed foam in the red cap tubes
    and no foam in the green cap… the red cap says no
    additives, the green cap says heparin sodium. Could you
    kindly explain why this is please

    • @prfedu
      @prfedu  Před rokem

      It means your red caps have additives and you shouldn't use them. Many tubes write no chemical additives but in fact they do.
