Last year I was in a bus accident while on my way to Dehradun. 5 people died on the spot (from the other vehicle) while 3 were critically injured. The only practical thing that I tried to do was call the ambulance and Police. Not for a moment God or Religion came to my mind that entire time.

The moral of the story is never become an atheist because you are fascinated by some people or the trend! It's not something like that. Use your brain, examine the arguments, check the proof and logic behind it. Always ask questions, its more important than being an atheist!
In that accident situation, believing all of his story, his body would have been full of endorphins and hormones, his flight/fight response was activated, and can easily explain visual hallucinations. I mean, why did he saw Hanuman, and not Allah, or Jesus, or The sun God Raa? He claimed his upbringing was extremely spritual, and a near death experience, that too of a young guy, obviously he would be hallucinating about the god of his family.
Isn't that a more plausible explanation instead of Hanuman saving you over other kids getting their tongue cut, face cut, bleedings, etc??

i agree with every other point but i don't think you should question if he helped his teacher, it might totally be true and is not even a center point of your argument, it will just make it easier for him (in case he tried to debunk it) to just like give some proof of it invalidating your other valid arguments, just to be cautious. He also could have seen all the images, people are too good at making connections, him connecting that to something supernatural is probably dumb, to be questioned but humans are almost to a fault too good at pattern recognition (even if there is no real pattern). Great job on everything else though!

The presence of privileges also plays a major role here. A person might think he has achieved solely because of hard work but often forget the neuro-biological factors which make them the person they are. A person is resilient not only by wish but also the make up of his brain that make him resilient. Intelligence too is not something you can entirely aquire by sheer hard work. I don't deny that one has to work hard but your physical and mental prowess helping you to work hard should also be taken into account.
Then comes the privileges factors. Your social network. Your family of birth, place of birth and initial childhood and adolescence stages of your upbringing plays a major role in becoming the person you are. And peole would agree not all of these are in one's control.
Not that I want to bring God here to justify how chance factors play a major role in one's life. Chance factors are really not determinstic and therefore they are chance factors. There is no meaning in asking why these chances have to be like this to create such an outcome. It is as it is..

True story - My wife was going to office with other 10 employees in a mini bus, everyone was sleepy or listing to music except a girl who was doing a morning path (prayer). No one got injurd except the girl praying. She got 12 stiches. To me, it does not prove anything about existince of god or otherwise.

I was 😂 in 7th standard and our school bus also met with accident and my younger brother was also with me 😅 and many others I was scratch less but my bro got cut from glass I'm still Athiest and my brother is Agnostic then when I was something like 5th standard I accidentally touched live wire 😢 then when I was 17 or something I drowned( technically it wasn't drowning)still there was no God in my mind 😂 lastly in 2017 I got very bad psychosis but still I am Athiest 😅 ...(I also have Auto immune disease and I'm Athiest when I know what is going to happen 😂).
