- GTI finally back on the road! Improved as well as repaired thanks to Forge Motorsport. Thought we'd try our best to prevent the situation from occurring again in the future so opted for silicone coolant hoses.

Gti build > Car reviews
Someone hook this man up with a glove sponsor 😆
This build is better than the reviews on cars
GTI working again! So rewarding doing it yourself. Big focus on project videos from now on, I am looking to add another cheap car in the coming months, what should it be?
Clio 182/172 and do some track driving, so much fun.
Do a convertible, get it fixed up for the summer. A classic maybe, maybe a spitfire but you will have to upgrade your skills :P but I’m sure you’ll be able to. More rewarding.
Get another RWD sports car! or sedan
MR2 Mk2 non Turbo ..Ttop in Sonic Shadow Colour, .Best car in the world and classic insurance too.
BUY A HONDA CIVIC BRO
Mashallah looking back at ur old GTI videos shows how far you've come, inshallah 2021 is gonna be your best year yet
Big up to Forge Motorsport
Ooo the blue silicone hoses looking niiice, i might have to cop one
Loving the direction this channels going🔧🔩
Great self closing bonnet
Yeah fantastic feature
Couldn't have been better
Really enjoying this series so far, nice breath of fresh air but still love the reviews, my personal favourite on this platform! Inspiring as well, my project is starting soon on my Leon Cupra MK3, more than willing to let you review it but you've done a couple already so it's down to you!
Masha’Allah man got the sponsor!! Big things to come Hamza 🔥🔥
Thank you bro! 🙏🏼
Enjoyed this one again. You are right about the accessible vehicles being worked on. That is why this series is so good. That, and the woolly gloves.
That’s one hell of a garden mate!
Bro I’ve started watching your videos right from the beginning, trying to learn as much as I possibly can from you bc I wanna get into car mechanics of some sort… looking forward to watching all these videos
Thanks for the link to the mods, good to watch,
Only just came across the GTI project! Absolutely loving this!!!
Glad you’re enjoying it mate!
So good to find someone who is actually relatable doing same build as me. Keep it bro.
Really liking your gti videos - I've subscribed 👍 looking forward to seeing what you do with it
Good vid man, and it definitely does feel good getting these jobs done yourself! Man time 👍
Been waiting for the next video, Great content Hamza 🚗💨💨💨
Thanks man!
Excellent video bro, as you say really rewarding when you do the work yourself.
Amazing how much money you save also 👍
Love the videos!
Reason I subscribed because of the first gti video.
Like you said these sort of projects and cars are a lot more interesting than the same supercar videos you see other channels do.
Would be good to see a compression test on the gti after this many miles it would be an interesting watch or even stock power run on a rolling road to see the cause of how much horsepower it has after this many miles.
Thank you for the videos
Thank you! Yes I agree, I'm a bit burnt out on all the expensive stuff, so projects will be a big focus from now on. A dyno video is 100% in the works, i'm just trying to lock down a date to get it filmed. Wont be long!
Very interesting in depth video, well done 👍🏼
Great videos man! Following from Kenya
Great video lad. Keep them coming
Hamza is getting 100k by the end of July - Mark my words!
Now that would be an achievement 🙏🏼
Another awesome video! Thanks!
A job well done on the coolant hoses change.
Yesyes bruv killin the content
Nothing as comfy as getting home... sitting in bed amd watching hamzas new upload!!
Greaat videooooo
Who hit the like before the video ended 🤷♂️🤣
Before it started 😁😁
JamesyBoyJim I think we all did 💯
I'm enjoying the DIY here so I hit it before the first minute
Loving the vid and looking forward to the next instalment
Thank you!
Finally the bad boii is back!!
Best series yet!
Glad you like it mate!
FORGE INTERCOOLER !!!!
Looking good with your project car, can’t wait till the “final” outcome or near as possible!?
High tech feature, auto hood closing 😂 at 11:55 sure beats those high tech boot opener systems.
Awesome vid!
Did my timing belt this weekend. Removing the engine bracket was a pain in the arse. Also buy a triple square set. I used an allen key on the crank pulley and rounded off everything.
Great video series
Jheeezee cmonn love these uploads
👊🏼👊🏼
11:15 These crows ain’t loyal
This is great TR. I’ve got a 2005 a3 2.0T and looking forward to what you recommend having done. PS get sponsored more, potential sales of mods is huge with this VAG car.
Sick video bro
lol mate! Saw a lot of myself in this video "I think this is the one, or it could be that one" lol
Nice one!
Another top video 👌👍
Jobs a goodin bro , brother Hamza iv got a mk5 golf gttdi 170 dsg... box standard .... 2bh bort as a run around but after watching your vlogs feeling a PROJECT comeing up.....
Definitely getting that forge hoses.
Hamza getting all the hose out here!
😄😄😄 excellent top class & woollen gloves .. lol 🤟🏼🤟🏼😂😂 . Brilliant for getting sponsor .... Lucky ...bleep bleep😄😄😄😄 .. no really great are we going to see induction kit ?? . Garden is mega .. 🤣🤣🤣 you live in park !!!!
good job hamza
I am considering purchasing one like this
These videos are good
if you open the cap on the reservoir while draining the coolant it drains much faster as air is entering
Hey mate, love the vids. Recently got myself a GTI mkV and your vids are helping me know what to upgrade on my car haha. Wanted to know was it difficult to install the coolant pipes? Or was it just matching the new pipes with the old ones to replace?
Cheers man
Loving this series with the gti. With your next series instead of just getting a normal ep3 get something more unique like an accord or integra type r or a mk2 mr2 turbo etc. That would be good to watch.
Sick
I’ve replaced two coolant flanges on my mk5 GTI! The oe plastic ones just get brittle and the smaller outlets snap! DONT snap off the brake booster hoses, that flange is a PIA!!
TFSI gang!!
Invest in some good quality tools as it will make your jobs easier. It's always good to squeeze the coolant hoses when bleeding the system to make sure all the air is out.
Do the diverter valve next and proper plugs before your map.
Get yourself a flexible jubilee clamp driver 👍like a screwdriver with spring shaft and socket on head
This video is needed as my car had the same exact problem today. Does the plastic part come with the forge motorsport kit or do you buy it on its own ?
He’s got them rubber dingy rapids bro
Haha I’ve got an mk6 golf r with 100,000 miles. 170,000kms here in Australia... done a stage 1 apr tune, but not sure if I should push it and go stage 2 with downpipes and push the old girl too much
Ma sha Allah
I have a mk 5 gti. What spark plugs you putting in? I am not sure? Lots of choice. I currently have OEM but fancy some iridiums
Nice sponsor mate.
Heya mate, watched the first few videos on this series, this reminds me, did you say it was going into ‘limp’ mode, as in loses boost and then comes back after switching off or even just letting it run? If so, did you manage to find out what was causing it? Cheers!
Should do a video on a full car detail with the gti
Now take it back for a detail with taran and another ep3 as project would be sick bro
When you say high mileage what is it? And also how much did he get the GTI for
@TR Hamza - you've got a good selection of tools there, think you should a vid on them and possibly explain what tool you are using when replacing any of these parts.
They are shit tools in fairness
@@dbuts5136 Lol maybe so but would still be good to see him show exactly what he's using when taking things apart
Does anyone have the part number for this part he replaced that had cracked? Thanks
That car is herbie lol the way it closed the bonnet itself 😆
😂
The big hose that your not sure about, cut it in half then trim to fit.
which is better a normal golf 5 tdi, or Gti model?
laughed so hard when the bonnet dropped! you should change the strut out its definitely worn and a cheap thing to throw in a video
more videos ,more often man
Do you recommend a gti as a first car?
Pro tip. Once you disconnect the bottom hose and most the coolant has drained out, take an empty paper towel cardboard roll thing, stick that bish right into the coolant bubble, put your dirty sailor mouth on it and BLOW 😂. No shit it works damn good and you’ll be surprised how much more coolant is in there. If you’re trying to get all old coolant out this trick helps
100hp hahah automatically hillarious 😂
Bro ive broken the same pipe piece as you (0.55secs) does anyone have a part number or name for that thing???
Why wouldn't you finish all the hoses before you put new coolant in it l? As you said it's expensive.
Wanted to get the car running asap as I've gotta take it to get a few videos done
What is the track at 5:49? Love the series btw :)
Just a thought if you have to take it all apart again to fix the oil leak why didnt you fix the oil leak first then put all the other hoses on makes more sence
If you haven't got evidence of it being done, get the fuel pump cam follower sorted - easy enough and will save you a lot of heartache. Loving the videos mate, I have same year GTI myself and have gone through very similar stuff as you show here with hoses and stuff.
Glad you're enjoying the videos mate! I actually did a cam follower replacement a couple videos ago, 'the fixing a big problem' video, luckily got to it in time, was pretty worn
call this series "Make it or Break it" 😁
Decrease and jet wash the engine so you don't get so filthy when working on it..
1st! awwww mannnn
Put a forge twin take on bro
I know its early days. But next car has gotta be JDM
Nice 2 c u get your hands dirty...imagine its gal gadot! 😉
What specification coolant you use??
G13, from the VW dealership
It looks to me like you have to cut that big silicon pipe and the plastic junction goes inbetween. let us know what Forge say and if im right lol :)
Madness💥
Lol, like the joke of the 100hp+ cause of the colored hose
An where u at
Hello I need a GTI bumper
12:25 sounded like a diesel
