- Welcome to this review where we're going to look over the new Warcry release, Nightmare Quest. I'll give a quick overview of what's in the box, we'll go into detail with the two warbands, and at the end, I'll talk about the future since this box is the capstone to the Gnarlwood season.

I appreciate your thorough coverage of the box set.
Played 2 games today with proxed Beastflayers today and won both. They're fast and can hit a little.

Oo rad super excited for the Questors! Unfortunately can't do the reach list as that comes to 1005 pts, v interested in the various options tho

@@Jam3643 you're doing better than me at basic math XD I suspect there's no bad way to make this warband and fingers crossed the models let just get enough variety so two boxes still look good :)

Heart of Ghur starer set, Sundered Fate,
As well as Hunters of Huanchi, Rotmire Creed and Horns of Hashut warbands?

Yes and no. You already have plenty to play with and have fun. This box adds two new warbands and some scenery mainly the realmshaper. So it doesn't improve your experience but it does give more options. If you have anything in your collection unassembled still sitting in sprues I'd recommend working on that rather than getting another box. That said, if you're already playing gamea and having fun and like the look of these warbands then it's a solid option to expand out. The warbands look fun and the realm shaper pyramid will make an awesome centre peice for your scenery collection.

Are the Royal beast flayers just better FEC? Either way, the sons of velmourn seem amazing in this warband.
Yeah maybe, with the cheap ghouls being identical there are probably a few FEC lists that are now better with the Royal Beastflayers instead. The trick is, you have to take the Royal Flaymaster and I don't think you would normally take the Abhorrant Ghoul King, you'd go for the Archregeant instead. If you're willing to take that hit with the leader then I think you do get better options with the fighters.
Sons of Velmorn look great in every Death list as far as I'm concerned XD
