World of Warships - Quick Cut: Tier IX American Cruiser USS Buffalo (Ranked Gameplay)

- I continue to believe that Tier IX American heavy cruiser USS Buffalo is underrated by the community. She's very much a cruiser and prone to getting dunked by the occasional battleship, but if you drive her right and take care of the hull, the guns will absolutely reward you. This ranked game on Loop demonstrates both halves of that equation nicely, I feel.

In an effort to keep a better flow of content coming, I'm going to pretty up some of my more interesting Twitch games from a given week and share them on the channel. These are much faster to produce than my normal stuff, but are a little less polished.

Like the gameplay commentary. But the challenge I find in ranked is getting the team on the same page and try to have good communication during the battle.
Been running the Balti and people usually underestimate the guns. All they see is a big citadel sailing around. And they aren’t wrong. Can’t wait for the Buffalo!
Enjoyed the video! Haven’t got the Buffalo yet. I have the Seattle and I really like the Cleveland in Operations! I play mostly DD’s in Naval Battles in Random. Thanks SEA RAPTOR! o7
GG Raptor. For me strangly the Buffalo clicked better than DM. Do you plan ranked up to silver and gold or you just play for the rewards in Bronze? Keep doing what you're doing!
I typically try to make it into Silver. We'll see. I don't want to be playing Tier X ships in ranked, I know that much.
I love guys that talk to the enemy like they can hear what you're saying, what a fucking clown lol.
Still a bit fragile for the home gamer, I think. You took more of a beating than you usually do in these games. Hung on to mine for events such as this one, but I think it is a Baltimore, only a bigger target. And the heavy AP is not what it used to be against high-Tier armor schemes.
Play it like a light cruiser and it has a chance. . .
I did, I got caught by the Soyuz in a turn and paid the price for it. At least I didn't get dev struck. =)
I disagree with you on the heavy AP, but you have to set your expectations according to what you're shooting at. Super heavy AP against an enemy light or heavy cruiser? Probably citadels. Against an enemy super cruiser? Probably full pens. Against a battleship? Also probably full pens. Knowing that, you can gauge you're willing to open up on (or not) depending on the range and the situation.
