I love these videos when you can see the sheer experience flamu has in this game. Also, hydrophone not broken at all, just flamu casually blindfiring an unspoted dd. Only landed 1 shell but just wait till he gets more used to it.
You definitely feel the age of this ship in the current state of the game. Nothing about it is exceptional, but like any ship in the right situation it can still kick ass. Nice game.
That's a shame. I haven't played in years, but what I remember about Buffalo is that it was *the* good tier 9 tech tree cruiser.

@@billhanna2148 I loved it when it came out, I’ve always had some of my best statistics in American cruisers. But yeah, there’s just so many things that outclass it now that it is hard to justify playing a lot.
I've seen Flamu do this kind of stuff before with blind firing, guessing positions, but I have to say, I think this is the first time I've seen the prediction of win rate. Impressive.
Actually a good prediction of winrate is predicting sub 50 % if someone plays wows. might be wrong in this case, but true on more than half of the playerbase.
It's funny how Flamu fought off 2 BB 2DD and a cruiser, and the one thing that almost killed him was the sub

Since you loose half of your firepower most of the time while doing the island hugging i preferd range mod on this one. It gave me the freedom to play it more diferntly compared to Baltimore and DesMo and bring all the guns into the fight.

Smoke firing penalty range is higher for cruisers than destroyers. And ofcourse, it is highest for battleships.

I never really understood the intial hate for the Buffalo. Its a Baltimore with 33% more gun, whats the issue?
IMO the Baltimore is incredible for a cruiser. While the Buffalo does get an extra turret, most of the time with the need to angle it is masked. So instead of losing 33% of the fire power on a Balti, you are losing 50% on the Buffalo. Combine with the ship being larger, more sluggish, and worse concealment it can feel very unfun.
Baltimore is waaay better than Buffalo. Buffalo is big, has too broadisde to bring firepower, bad manuerability, etc. Huge cit magnet, Seattle is objectively better for a T9 US cruiser.
Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there a moment. The Seattle is a direct downgrade from the Cleveland with its dog water firing angles. I can work with a chunky Baltimore, but the Seattle can go fuck itself. I free EXPed through it after a few games.
Personally I liked Buffalo better, having a heal is such a game changer.

I leave games with subs, it's just not worth it
The ONLY thing this poor piece of ship has going for it anymore its its broadside weight and the American Cruiser Heavy AP shells with improved pen angles. I WOULD RATHER PLAY Baltimore in a tier 10 match then play this piece of shit again! Sure you gain ONE extra turret (3 more shells), but the ship is SO SLOW on the Rudder, it just is not worth it.
Feels more like playing a Battleship then a Cruiser.
So a sub came around to counter you hiding behind that island all game, and you complain that there is a class counter to you. Just admit it you just don't want something shooting back at you.
