    Move the seat height adjuster to the back position then reach underneath, grab the bottom of the tank and it will slide backwards allowing you to lift the front end without damaging the tank

    yes i put one in my FJR, little different location up in the fairing behind the windshield, only thing is my temp sensor reads about 35 degrees cooler than ambient as yamaha uses 1 temp sensor for ambient (most other OEM's use 2), yamaha on the cheap side in that regard lol

      Thank you for watching, so far so good, I really enjoy the booster plug, it is not going to give you tons of horsepower, but it certainly gives me extra power I need when I first crack open the throttle, when I went on the racetrack I noticed a big difference from deceleration close throttle, to full throttle I got the extra power I needed, I also got a brand new top speed on the racetrack at 152 mph. I'm assuming you saw the video part three of three ?

      Hello CrunchyCetrul. Thank you for watching and thanks for your feedback. On the Top Box, i saw a slightly used one for sale (like new) within the Facebook Honda ST1300 forum that I joined. I'm in 4 different groups. The Top Box are hard to find, but one shows up about every few months or so. I bought mine for $500 and then had it professionally matched for around $180. It was a factory option back in the day and had to be ordered. Here are the links to the ST forums that I'm in. Look me up. Once joined, ask around and eventually a Top Box will come for sale.. Hello Rob, greetings from Seattle. Great to hear from you again ❤️🤙🏍️,, I hope all is well up there in Canada. I have another grandbaby on the way in Victoria, our girls live in Victoria and we have now five grandchildren. (It has been a pain in the butt to see them).
      Now on the booster plug. After 2 years it has been a good upgrade for the money, I don't know if you saw my video of me on the racetrack, "ST1300 Part 3 FASTER Booster plug", I did have more power from deceleration back to full throttle, I also had maybe 5 mph faster on the top speed, throttle response is better,,, basically I have no complaints at all and it performs as it was as advertised since I installed it September of 2019. It does idle high at 2000 RPM on a cold start for about 60 seconds but goes back down to 1,000 RPM where it belongs and I have no complaints, one of these days when I have time I'll probably make a video but I think the racetrack video pretty much explains most of my positive benefits compared to Part 2 on the racetrack video. Enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts
      ❤️🤙🏍️

      @@MotoTouringWorldWide Hi Mike, first of all congratulations on the news of your growing family, always an exciting time. Hope you are able to make it up here again soon. I am enjoying my new to me super low mileage (6K) 2004 ST1300, which I found out came from Edmonds WA near you. I have noticed some very mild idle and light throttle choppiness (almost feels like hunting) when cruising on flat roads at light throttle, and the need to give just a little more gas than expected on takeoff to keep from bogging down the motor, brought to mind your experience with the Booster Plug. Yes I saw the racetrack video, but since most of us (myself included) don't run our bikes on a track I was hoping to hear about your experiences with the BP from a daily street use perspective. Ie: behavior in slow moving traffic, low rpm, take offs and low speed pulls, hot/cold weather response etc. And if you also experienced any of my observations, did it fix them. Anyway, If you find the need to ad some video content here a short follow up review would be great. Ride safe and thanks for helping us get through that long winter. - Rob

    I think that wire you mention at czcams.com/video/dnfysJbFPqw/video.html isn't a ground wire - it's a retainer to stop you lifting the tank too high and over-bending the pipes at the other end...

    • @MotoTouringWorldWide
      @MotoTouringWorldWide  Před 4 lety +1

      @MotoTouringWorldWide  Před 4 lety

      Hello David... LOL.. You noticed. .. Good eye. Yes, I did. I also found out that it is just a strap to keep you from tilting the gas tank back too far. If tilted back too far, the fuel line may break and cause more damage. Thank you for watching. Be Safe and Ride Safe. Warmest Regards 🏍🤙

Keep me posted and in the end it's pretty straightforward. What matters, the outside temperature sensor needs to just have ram Air touching it and you can even keep the outside air temperature sensor inside the air filter housing because the cold air gets sucked through there however I prefer to locate outside and keep it exposed.
