The Kawasaki Z1300 is a standard motorcycle unusual for its large-displacement 1,300 cc straight-six engine made by Kawasaki from 1979 to 1989.
Previously referring to the Z1300 as an Autobahn stormer, when reviewing their 'Machine of the Year' competition results in 1979 after readers had voted for the Triumph Bonneville as the winner, UK weekly newspaper Motor Cycle News stated "Kawasaki, with their Z1300 - a superb example of technology by anyone's standards - has gone overboard in many people's minds", characterizing it along with the Honda CBX, Suzuki GS1000, and Yamaha XS1100 as 'hyperbikes' for their extreme size and performance for the time.

      Hallo 🤙🙋‍♂️. Bedankt voor het kijken. Upload een video of geef een link waarin een klus van 30 minuten wordt getoond bij het vervangen van de "194 park bulb". Start de video op 9:56. Bekijk wat er allemaal bij komt kijken voor alleen de rechter 194 lamp met "RECHTE" toegang tot de "LAMP" doorvoertule". Het probleem is de rubberen doorvoertule waarin de lamp wordt geduwd. ST-eigenaren zijn het slachtoffer van deze lampen die tijdens het vervangen in de koplampunit vallen. Het is "ONMOGELIJK" om je vingers en hand te verdraaien om de kleine 194 lampen te vervangen zonder iets te verwijderen. De koplamplampen zijn echter "gemakkelijk" te vervangen door gewoon aan het stuur te draaien EN de ene H4-lamp kan in 2 minuten worden vervangen. Als je beide 194 lampen kunt vervangen zonder iets te verwijderen in minder dan 1,5 uur, deel dan een videolink of de CZcams-link. Bedankt, ❤️👍🤙🤙🏍️ Hello 🤙🙋‍♂️. Thank you for watching. Please upload a video or provide a link showing a 30-minute job when replacing the "194 park bulb". Start the video at 9:56. See what's involved for just the right side 194 bulb with "STRAIGHT" access of the "BULB" grommet". The issue is the rubber grommet the bulb is pushed into. ST owners are victims of these bulbs falling inside the headlight assembly during replacement. It is "IMPOSSIBLE" to contortion your fingers and hand to replace the tiny 194 bulbs without anything removed. However, the headlight bulbs are "easy" to replace by just turning the steering wheel AND the one H4 bulb could be replaced in 2 minutes. If you can replace both 194 bulbs without removing anything in less than 1.5 hours, please share a video link or the CZcams link. Thank you, ❤️👍🤙🤙🏍️

    Do you have any riding tips or tricks? Do you lean or do your push down with your foot on the peg to get into a curve?

    • @MotoTouringWorldWide
      @MotoTouringWorldWide Před 15 dny

      @@kennethrogers1129 ,, hello and thank you for watching. It is mostly based on the lean by first positioning your body to the left or to the right based on the turn. For example "left turn" coming up, left butt cheek slides to the left, slight movement of body forward, left knee bent and position correctly on the peg, lean into the turn and push the left handlebar away from you, turn eyes left and helmet slightly left, very important to pay attention to the exact location you want to go and Target fixate on that area, as you're going through the turn the left side of your helmet is pretty much touching your left shoulder area. The tighter the turn you're "pushing" the left side handlebar more away and with your right arm your pulling the right side "in" so you're right elbows going towards your right kidney. Now concentrate on the throttle and the lean, the faster through the turn the more you are leaning and pushing on the left handlebar away from you. Your foot on the left peg is a resting spot, you're not pushing on it. I learned all of this watching CZcams videos on how to handle a motorcycle on the racetrack. Have you tried CZcams "Motorcycle riding techniques on the racetrack"? Also do you have a RaceTrac near you where they allow track time? Also another great thing to do is a huge abandoned parking lot is to whip your motorcycle around some cones that you've placed out there and learn emergency maneuver techniques When approaching the cone, make an emergency maneuver around each cone. I hope this information was useful and let me know how things go if you do have a chance on the racetrack 🤙🤙🏍️🏍️

      @@DankTech ,, I drove by the other day and I was upset when I saw Rivian Trucks take over. It's going to be tougher to do your motor mounts mostly from above but it can be done. Have a jack stand on each side of the car, then you can use a floor jack to raise and lower the motor when removing and installing the mounts.... I was going to do an oil change and overall inspection at Stews Garage, but now I have to do it at home in the parking garage. I purchased an oil suction machine to suck the oil out of the Mercedes. I had the honor, the privilege to ride one of these I believe. My father bought it from the neighbor for $100 and got it running. He is better with motors than I am. It was painted orange. Found in a basement in a brick home. Opened up the crankcase and water came out. The house probably flooded because ours would next door at times. It came with a manual that said 1966 Benelli sprite barracuda i thought it said. But this is so close this is sort of it or it. It was sort of a Frankenstein bike I would call it. it was missing the strap. Seat was maybe replaced and torn at back and we taped it. It was already painted bright industrial classic orange. He fixed the clutch and engine i helped a little holding tools flashlight or whatever. Got a certain spark plug and got it going and I learned to ride it. Took of first time but didn't know how to get into second right so i just held the clutch in. The gearshift and the brake were on the opposite side because it was Italian i think my dad said. Had a little box you could put tools in. I put skull decals (stickers) on it and taped a radio on it. 125cc was great. Little egg shaped motor. Turn on and off gas. Kickstart. The electric didn't work or no lights. Speedometer didn't work. The tires would inflate but old and dry rotted. I wouldn't ride at night anyway just alleys and trails and such. I think some water came out of the exhaust when it first got fired up after a long time.

The bike is perfect for all weather and the main mod I have done is heated seat and a throttlemeister + 12V outlet for a heated vest/gloves if I need. Want to do an Alaska trip someday from SF Bay area. Nice long loop through WY and up through Canadia !! Have fun and stay safe and warm.

      @@pentachronic ,,, if you go down my list of videos you will see some cool rides through British Columbia up north of Whistler, to Hell's Gate to Harrison Hot Springs.. The Horseshoe Bay Area is also gorgeous. Those were some amazing motorcycle rides. I also have the throttlemeister which works great. My heated gloves and shoes work off of a battery that will keep my hands and feet warm for about 6 hours and that's about it. I did experience some pan wobbling with that top box on but it didn't hit me until after 120 mph. However those are one-off and that's not normal I just keep it between 80 and 90 on the freeway but through Canada and I take it easy. You've done some pretty amazing rides. I also did the Oregon coastline and made some videos on that too and I really really like the Oregon coastline. End of the year I'm probably shipping my bike to Northern Germany and then I'm going to ride it down to Austria and ride throughout Europe next year and probably permanently stay and just live in each country for 2 or 3 months a year. However the best motorcycle rides ever or through the Alps. It's so magical and amazing and there's thousands of touring bikes everywhere to the top of the mountains throughout the Swiss and Austrian Alps and Northern Italy to amazing restaurants and cafes on top of the mountains. Such an amazing lifestyle ❤️🤙🏍️

      @@MotoTouringWorldWide Will check you vids out. Have only just got back onto the ST today after a 3 years hiatus (various reasons - mainly schedules and time). Doing the Alps (Swiss, Italian and French) is a dream for me too. Would like to do India too but the roads are a bit dodgy there. Unfortunately I’m not retired yet but if I were I’d be doing exactly what you are planning on doing. Put all my stuff in storage and be gone. Ship bike, get carnet papers sorted and that’s that! Live wherever you need or want to stay! I’ve pretty much done the west coast (apart from WY) and would love to do Alaska as a mid summer trip. Set off at end of may and take a couple of months touring. Then I’d get to do Whistler and the like too. I look forward to your vids. Will check out your other stuff too since I’ve just discovered your chanel.

    I ride a ST1300 (among others in my garage) and I am familiar with the Pan wobble. A side note- I used to race 750 SuperSport in Colorado MRA (several tracks) with a best finish as 3rd in a national race. Hello and thank you for watching 🙋‍♂️. Your 750 Super Sport is definitely a classic ride ❤️. Congratulations on your success on the racetrack 🤙🤙. My time on the racetrack was pretty rewarding for me. I used to race and work for the Gebardt BMW racing team back in 1990 and loved it. Life continues and then stuff happens such as my stroke. I was still recovering in this video with my ST1300 to try to fulfill some dreams I had. (Life is too short) I didn't want to say "I wish I would have,, I wish... So my track time was self-fulfillment and was pretty much a sweaty task with a 750 lb bike wet plus my 220 lb ass,, LOL, made it tough. Plus my pegs were too low and scraping. I agree some real competitive track time would get "bumpy". Thanks again for watching and have a great weekend ❤️🤙🏍️

    It CAN NOT be done in 30 minutes or less. I tried reaching in with my hand to access the little bulb from the back. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE as some viewers wrote & bragged about. I followed your method but unfortunately, my right 194 peanut bulb fell inside the headlight assembly like yours. Seeing how miserable your experience was, I got a shop vacuum cleaner and attached a long little rubber hose, and sucked my bulb out of the headlight. Your method was working to grab the little bulb out, but use a shop vacuum next time. Thanks for the great video.

    • @MotoTouringWorldWide
      @MotoTouringWorldWide Před 3 měsíci

      Hello and thank you for watching 😊. A manual w204 C200d is an excellent Mercedes. My car does not have a loud noise or vibration when turning off the motor, but I'm thinking that you may have an exhaust heat shield vibrating or a turbo spooling down? Do you have an automotive stethoscope? It is very cheap and will help locate noises. Here is a link to an example: www.amazon.com/Lisle-Stethoscope-Kit/dp/B0002SQYSM?th=1 I would remove the black portion of the stethoscope so just the plastic tube is near the noise. The sound will travel and become "louder" to your ears the closer the "end" of the plastic tube is "nearing" the "noise". You will need someone to turn the car off while you listen and place the tube where you think the noise is coming from. I hope this helps with diagnosing the noise. Keep me posted on what you find. Have a great weekend. 😊👍

      Hello, thank you for your answer! After watching your video I changed the rear mount (of the gearbox) I started by this one because it was the cheap one, but the big (one time) vibration still here when I turn off my motor. I putted a full inox exhaust as the c63 with 4 piped about 3 months ago, but I don’t think it’s linked… I noticed on these last 2 days that when I drive really slowly it still does the strange sound but quieter and I feel the motor lifting a little bit around 2-2.5rpm, I guess it’s the big mounts. I’ll keep you informed when I get over this and hope my comments can help other people in the community ! Thank you

      @MotoTouringWorldWide Před 3 měsíci

      Hello and thank you for watching 🙋‍♂️🤙. The only power-mods I have on it is the Booster Plug which gives the bike maybe an extra 3 or so horsepower. Top speed on the track before the booster plug was around 145, after the booster plug I got it up to 152. It also only adds extra horsepower when cracking the throttle to full throttle, otherwise daily driving and cruising is exactly the same. I also installed 18 inch Delkevik exhaust (see video). Maybe 1 or 2 horsepower extra and 20 lbs less weight. I removed the 4 elbow air intake snorkels from the air filter housing but I don't think it does much other than breathe better. I have a Super Brace for better handling thru the turns and stability. And yes my foot pegs SCRAPED horribly through the turns and was very annoying. I've looked for a kit to raise them but I have had no luck. I've got plenty of accessories on the bike also. Do you also ride and ST Pan-european ? Have a great weekend 🤙🏍️
