  • As mentioned in the vid, if you don't ride often, you will benefit from a battery tender.
    I can't remember how long I've used them, but a long time.

    Regular lead-acid batteries need to be fully charged all the time for you to get the maximum life out of them. Unless you buy a deep cycle battery, letting your bikes(or cars) regular battery run low more than a few times will result in a dead or often a weak battery. There were times, years ago, when I was replacing my bikes battery every one or two years because I didn't keep it on charge enough in between rides. A battery maintainer is a must to keep them going. When you park it plug it in. That simple rule will save you a world of grief and money spent on new batteries.
    I have an ST1300 like this one only mine is black. It's everything I ever wanted in a motorcycle. I have the same setup on mine to keep the battery charger connected.

    7.5 AMP fuse not volt bud . Good vid thanks I just bought one of these bikes collecting it tomorrow . So looking forward to it .
