I’ve seen other dermatologists saying foaming face wash is too abrasive on the skin, damaging the barrier, and to avoid those styles if you have rosacea.
Hi! 1.Why no HA for rosacea? Should I stop using CeraVe cream? 2. Are chemical sunscreens not safe for rosacea? 3. Is 10% azelaic acid cream effective enough?
If the Cerave isn’t causing any irritation or flares for you, it’s fine to keep using it. Same for chemical sunscreens. These are just ingredients that are potentially irritating, but everyone‘a skin is different so what irritates others might not irritate you. Personally, I find high SPF mineral sunscreens irritating because they can be kind of abrasive and require a lot of rubbing in.
there’s fragrance in cetaphil foaming wash, and that moisturizer is definitely not affordable lol, it’s $80 cad for that tiny bottle… does anyone have any better options for these?

@@IsaRican810 thank you so much 🙏🏻
I think 10% azelaic acid is enough. That is the same amount in the one she showed.

What about SA, BP, if you also have acne issues?
The Cetaphil cleanser has fragrance and caffeine? Vanicream might be better, or LRP?
Cetaphil derma control cleanser might be better?
Thank you!! What about vitamin C. also, can you please do a nighttime routine for rosacea too??
I know you weren't asking me, but hopefully I could help 🫶🏻 I have rosacea and the vanicream vitamin c serum works so well on my skin
