First thing I did to my minty 1995 Lincoln Towncar was getting rid of that stupid air ride suspension. In went the coil springs and 12 years later, zero problems.
I have had good luck with having a machine shop resurface a warped exhaust manifold. They did say that the cast iron chews up their cutter so the price of cutter replacement was included in their charge (about $85 for the job).

I wouldn't be surprised if his overhead divided by his billable hours comes out to nearly $100/hour. @@jaggsta
I just paid $139 for a Mobil 1 oil change on my 2009 Kia Borrego V8... so that is about the right price for it... oil is expensive now...
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Hoovie is single handedly paying for the shop mortgage and more with all those projects.
A nice classic Hoopty video A+, I wish I had a mechanic that showed all the parts and work.
mr wizard's kids gonna have a good christmas
Hopefully enough people watch this so in an hour Hoovie doesn't change the thumbnail and title "I made a video about repair bills and none of you are watching it!"
14:40 The Caddy is AWESOME! Love the wheel covers.
Your collaboration with The Wizard is the best on CZcams. Love these interactions.
Is this video doing better than your last one, Hooovie?
Cannot answer that for several hours into tomorrow no doubt. You're asking too early.
I don't think he is directly involved in correspondence on here anyway.
unless im seeing something wrong , this video was posted about an hour ago and has 28,000+ Views!! Nothing lacking there IMO
The wizard overcharges him for sub par work. Waiting for that relationship to fall apart.
$135 oil change on the car lol
@@jaggsta Here in Illinois at the local dealership full Synthetic oil change is 69.95 High Mileage is $44.95 conventional 3000 miles one id 29.99 at the dealership Firestone even runs a 6 quart High Mileage oil change with Valvoline Max Life or Pennzoil high mileage with the CFNA credit card 39.95 with card without card credit 49.95. I dont trust Firestone to even do that.We have a place here called Beachler's Amoco Service been here since 1951 and his oil change with high mileage Mobil 1 is 54.95 and Full Synthetic is 74.95. Beachler's is a little higher but they do Car Wizard level work and wont charge you for things that are not needed. But Beachler's and not many shops will touch any exotics in my area. They have a sign posted will not work on Audi Porsche BMW Bentley Rolls Royce Lambo Land Rover/Range Rover unless the the customer signs 350.00 an hour labor rate on all exotics.evens shops in my area local independents like Car wizard will not touch heavily modded cars for insurance Liability reasons and something breaks cant find parts that you break your held alienable. Most in my area will say also have a sign in big bold letters "DEALERSHIP ONLY ON THESE MAKES?MODELS" for insurance reasons. Some shops also in my area are getting to the point were tjhey will not touch any vehicle cut off year now going into 2024 will be 1994 due to parts are hard to find that are quality for something approaching 30+ years old Buyer beware. I have a 1992 Acclaim (just over 92,150)and 1995 Plymouth Acclaim (just now over 10,250.1 actual miles)not very many garages want to repair to they say cant get parts. But I call up NAPA Auto zone and Rock Auto JC Whitney and can get parts OEM NOS parts for them so I do the work my self. I worked on cars from when I was 14 in 1994 to 2006 when Im was 26 got out bad back. I hated dealing with all that computer related crap that would always break 50 to250 miles out of warranty as well. Our owner closed up the AMOCO shop I worked at from 5/1994-12/2006. Also alot of these older cars have rusty bolts that break and the labor goes up because labor manuals do not account for bolts that snap off or nuts that need torched. etc. Hoovie just needs to get a Plymouth Acclaim or Dodge Spirit cheap to fix and never any 1500 repair bills since I owned both. Highest Bill was 190.00 for a timing belt service.
Merry Christmas Tyler and April!
Hooptie-Do...and Merry Christmas to YOU.

$7600 dollars for all that intensive and caring work is a song. Hoovie is able to exploit the cheap costs in Witchita for elite level mechanic work
