Not a lot of games create save files so big that their total would exceed the 200MB limit of GOG Galaxy, but ironically, among the few games who do create such big save files is The Witcher 3.
And Cyberpunk 2077.

True. That's why throwing in a little native hardware kinda helps. Citra for android even with forks isn't too stabile or without glitches so a real 3ds is better in that aspect especially games that have alot of shader stutters or don't run.

Thing is that alternatives have existed, it's just that most people are not aware of them, Inkscape is an awesome Adobe Illustrator alternative that I use, it basically recreates the illustrator experience 1:1

That Adobe tou is absolutely anticonsumer. That way Adobe can steal all your intellectual property and blame their employes as the scapegoats as Google does with private info. Also because the darn company have so much power that a lawsuit against copyright infringement would take years and is not guarantee that you could win against them. This abusive tou deserves a lawsuit against of their own. And this is why I against Windos, specially 11 is not a os is just a surveillance software to your activity only limiting thing can you do as they seem fit ,doesn't matter if you only use it to make digital art from cats only.

I would suggest buying a used ps vita, the game was specifically made to use all its features (like the back touchpad). Try getting it for cheap so if you dont want it later you can resell at same price

So long as you edit your Windows hosts file to block all Adobe IPs, or just block them right at your router, they can't get anything from you, regardless of the cracked version you are using.

Yes, I am definitely looking into moving from Windows to Linux. Recall is the last straw. Also planning to get rid of Gmail. Already dumped Adobe years ago.

To be honest almost all of the talents that made Gainax famous already left a long time ago, Heck most of them grouped up and either made Studio trigger (Gurren Lagann and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) and Studio Khara (Neon Genesis Evangelion) and i feel like they're more creatively happy there compared to Gainax. Also Gainax has about 100 million yen worth of Loans plus Royalties payable to Khara which they allegedly never paid since 2014.

Same here 😊 I wish I still had my SP and original GBAs but I recently got an Analogue Pocket. I love the Pocket a lot but I am also considering getting a rougher* condition GBA / GBA SP and giving it a faithful restoration. Then i may gave it to my daughter afterwards so she can experience a staplehood of my own childhood as well as creating her own nostalgic memories to look back on.
@@GreenLeefMusic If you ever visited our house, chances are that besides throwing out the Pikachu N64 console, pretty much every console that we've owned, as well as video games we've bought back in the day, yeah, they're still in our house. Some GBA games I've had "Mario Vs. Donkey Kong" unfortunately I lost it 17 years ago in 2006/2007 after placing it down somewhere in the house, only to not remember where I actually put it and it went lost for decades (most likely swept up or vacuumed up and never came back again; same thing with my microsd and sd cards so, there's that to consider).

I've also lost several Micro SD cards because they are just so tiny and easy to lose. I'm glad you kept most of your consoles as I wish I would have kept many more of mine. 😔 Yeah in my case I believe the original GBA was stolen from my school locker (I was too oblivious and left it unlocked) and then I think the SP I sold it as a teenager (which I now regret). I had a GBC as well but I think was also lost/stolen. I got my Super Nintendo stolen from a house burglary when I was ~8 or 9 years old. My N64 my stepdad took out of my closet when I was ~12-13 and I believe it also got sold as I never ever saw it again after that. I have had several PSPs (like 3-4 within a 1-2 year period alone) as I would take them to my job using them as MP3/MP4 players while working 😂 & I broke a couple of them while doing that without a case. This was when they were still being sold at Walmart where I also worked at that time. I believe the 3rd or 4th one I eventually sold. Also around that same time I was "jailbreaking" my PSPs and iPod Touch, and I also ended up being a blog writer writing guides for these for a now long defunct site called AllTechRelated. My original Xbox quit reading discs and we got rid of it at this same timeframe. I did keep my original phat PS3 (only software BC tho), a Nintendo 3DS XL, & my daughter's 3DS "doorstop" model still to this day. Over the last 5-6 years I've also bought a Jasper Xbox 360, blue PSP-2001, Xbox One S, Xbox Series S, Switch Lite (during the lockdowns), Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion 5 Pro Gaming Laptop w/ RTX 3070 + Ryzen 5800H and my latest purchase was the Analogue Pocket + several games cartridges. I'm definitely going to be keeping most of it for the long haul & plan on purchasing more vintage consoles / handhelds. I'm also even considering starting a small hobby / side hustle of buying old handhelds & gaming consoles that are in rough shape and/or not working just so I can restore them faithfully to give them a new lease on life and not let them go to waste. I would then turn around and either keep them or sell them (but for a fair price as I would do it out of passion as opposed to selling them at jacked up prices).
@@GreenLeefMusic I didn't, mom asked me if it was broken or not because all it needed was the power cord (which we lost it when we moved in 2002). Needless to say it wasn't until too little too late that we should have taken it back and buy another power cord from say Ebay or something. but at that time I didn't even know Ebay existed. But in the future I'm hoping to get a region free Pikachu N64 console instead of the NTSC one, so this way I don't have to worry about region lock and such.
Interesting, needless to say we didn't own PlayStation Portables, nor the Xbox One, aka Xbox 2001/Orignial Xbox, but we did get the Xbox 360 S from 2009/2010 because of kinect sports and Just Dance 4 (because of my mom), and my sister never got the WIi U but has pretty much bought every console that released Pokemon games on it, but back in the day only bought one version or the other in the DS/3DS time period, but not so much with the gameboys/gameboy advance games and the switch. But yeah, even after 20+ years, our gamecubes, PS2s, Xbox 360 S, Nintendo Wii. Gameboy/Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo DSi consoles still work to this very day. Now I never brought them to school unless if it was for a project or something, but the majority of the time it was kept at home. Thankfully my sister did get us another N64 console on Christmas day 2014 when the Xbox Live service got shutdown/hacked during Christmas day (which I didn't care about new consoles at the time as the N64 is just as much fun, considering the game cartridges we still own to this very day, especially Super Smash Bros. 64, after 25 years since we've bought one back in the day, as it was when i was 4/5 years old in 1999/2000).

I wasn;t planning on getting a new PC until 2026 so I'm going to do the not advisable thing and ride with Windows 10 past EOL next year, but when I go to get that new PC I'm either building it myself or using a proxy build service where I pick the parts and they assemble, then I'll just leave out storage and supply my own so I don;t have to worry about having Windows 11 shoehorned into the mix. I already use a bit of linux here and there on my Raspberry Pi so it shouldn't be that terrible of a transition.

I can see why considering he may have preferred the gameboys that have no backlit screen (I'm sure it's this reason why I didn't play handheld that much except when we left for the doctor's office or go see my sister sing in choir but that's about it. Other than that it was basically kids meal toys or things to fidget with back in the early 2000s, long before smartphones were even a thing.) But at the same time I like the GBA SP, as it reminds me a lot of burner/cell phones back in the early 2000s, albeit it with no headphone jack which is one of the things he might dislike is no headphone jack unless you modify the system to insert a headphone jack yourself.
A very good update from vita3k with an optional directory path option, only disappointment is from my perspective not having enough perfect games. Some claiming games are playable but had some game breaking glitches also crashing on Mali GPUs
Big shoutout to Gamers Nexus. Love the bloodthirsty mentality they show towards Asus. We need to get better at calling out these major companies for their bs. Much respect to Gamers Nexus

ASUS ROG Ally customer services has screwed over so many people.
This why all of my saves are local only. I also have different mod setups for different computers, so the saves aren't compatible anyway.
Oddworld stranger's wrath isn't on the vita3k compatibility list, I played it on vita3k, I decided to uninstall it until its further along. I want to know if stranger's wrath is fully playable now
Stick with windows and have Microsoft surveil every single key typed, while keeping tabs on every bowel movement I make?
Or switch to Linux and spend 3-5 hours troubleshooting some mundane thing I shouldn't be having trouble with, only to break 5 other things in the process?

That Yooka-Laylee re-do looks pretty good but considering how close it seems to be to the original game I hope they at the very least do a loyalty discount for those who own the original, as well as maybe including the original with a purchase the new one since it would be unnecessary to have them both listed and separate

bought a 3060 from asus recently and i'm on a prayer that my graphics card doesnt go to shit since their warranties and customer service are now infamous. my previous card hit a brick wall after just 6 months of use

i really love vita3k , like ppsspp i can slap a telescopic gamepad on my phone and i have now the ultimate handheld
i have nothing against the clamshell on gba (i prefer the original, but the screen on the second version of course is better XD) but i have to say this: i h4t3 the shouder buttons on gba sp! i mean, when you compare with ds , for example, even being clamshell, the shouders are way more confortable to use, and are almost as good as a regular controller. thats my only grip with GBA sp (and why i prefer the original form factor GBA)

Horizontal is the only acceptable handheld design IMO.

I recently contacted Asus as I was looking to refresh an old R9 290 with new thermal pads and paste. I asked them if they could confirm what size thermal pads they used, and they responded stating that they cannot provide sensitive information related to their IPs.
When I took the card apart, there were no thermal pads. 🤷♀🤦♀
I used to trust Asus, but at this point I don't think I'll ever buy their stuff again.
I would 100% play halo combat evolved on my PS5, if only for the luls. and the best halo was 3.

I feel like Microsoft is abandoning ship of the Xbox Series consoles if they are going to put there biggest series on PS, knowing that the Xbox consoles are in the rare view mirror a long 3rd place in this generation.
ASUS's own corporate responses are so typical of the carp that corporations often come out with but all it has done for me is to ensure that I will likely never purchase an ASUS product again. My power is in my wallet and I exercise it because a shiny object does not distract my view.
As long as gaming is still a bit rough, I won't fully switch to Linux. But I'll probably run multiple machines. A gaming PC with Windows and only my gaming data on it and a Linux PC for more serious and critical stuff like banking etc. I already use multiple machines anyway, but so far, they're all Windows, and one Mac. Apple is out of the picture as well due to their unrepairable and unupgradable hardware, so I guess it's Linux and a little Windows for gaming Gaming in the future.
Halo MCC is already on PC (and Steam Deck). I don't really like the idea of console exclusives in the first place. Sure, let people play Halo on PS5, switch, their smart fridge, whatever. Maybe the industry would be OK with losing the exclusivity after 1 console generation? I mean it's been a few since Halo CE...
Overall I think Halo 2 was the best Halo game of its time. I thought the addition of dual-wielding light weapons was a better one than 3's equipment or Reach's armor abilities. The updated graphics in the MCC make it more replayable now, though to be honest multiplayer was the biggest draw back in the day but I don't really have much desire to play MP these days.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is ***FAR*** from complete. It has *SERIOUS* performance problems which'll hopefully be fixed on full release. I wouldn't judge such an incomplete game as it is now just yet. It's probably better to just wait until it releases fully in September.
I've used Linux a little bit and I have an Arch Linux tablet, but next pc I get, I'm going to have Linux on it instead of Windows 11 because I don't trust Recall

Asus was another company I never cared about, so go get 'em Gamer's Nexus. Tell the world. Adobe pulling a straight up Microsoft "your stuff is ours." As an artist, I'm glad I dropped adobe products. In fairness GoG has always been about owning your own games, it shouldn't be a surprise we have to protect our own saves. Remember: "The Cloud is just someone else's computer." GoW should look nicer on PC.... *provided you have the hardware, it's a caveat that rarely seems to make it into the discussion. RIP Gainax... the writing was kinda on the walls. Wow, Recall is a security risk? Raise your hands if you saw _that_ coming (raises hand). I have no plans on using Win 11, so not my problem. Once again still not a fan of MS, so it's no surprise I don't really care about Halo on PS5, but yay for anyone that wanted to play it and didn't get to in the 20+ years it's existed I guess.

Current Gainax was just a shell of it former self. A new Panty and Stocking is being mad by studio Trigger which was formed by ex gainax staff.
GBA >>> GBA SP (except for the screen). GBA is FAR more ergonomic than the SP.
That's why you IPS mod a regular GBA and slap a USB-C rechargable pack into it.

Adobe needs to go away
Windows Recall is another ridiculous 'feature' that no one ever asked for, and no one ever wanted. It's M$ forcing this and other AI features upon us in spite of not wanting them, to increase the data collection surface, if it isn't already obvious. Win 11 already runs worse than Win 10 on my laptop (I don't know how most people are getting improved performance using 11), and now MS is adding more and more spyware as time passes. We NEED the Linux option to become even better supported with professional software and games so people can leave Windows in droves and MS can be humbled.

Gamers Nexus is the only one who fights for the customers, he has enough pull in the industry the rest just follow.
The fact that he has a binder full of customers with vetted complaints these people will probably I'm not saying they will guarantee get their stuff fixed.
You hardly ever find good people like gamers Nexus but the guy does not take any money from any company even a free flight or hotel.
