- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche Z71. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

THIS is one of the reasons I love GM vehicles (particularly GMCs and Chevys and Cadillacs so much! Great durability, great design, and they really know how to make their engines.

Favorite part of owning this truck is the fact that the back window pops out. Just one of the many things that make this truck unique
Yea i will admit its pretty cool. I wish the motor was more powerful. This 5.3L is gutless. Not to mention its sneaky i just doesn't wanna work problems. For example, the horn won't work. Okay check fuses. all the fuses are good. relays are fine. 2 weeks later WALLAHH IT WORKS.
Yeah I actually got rid of the truck because of the random problems i was having. Start it up one day and the check engine light and air bag light would be on try starting it a few days later the lights would be off. That and my radio reception sucked after I put 10k HIDS in it for some reason. And your right the motor was gutless on it.
Not mine it had no guts. I remember getting on it a few time going down the danville and it wasnt very impressive. Dont get me wrong I loved the truck when I had it just wasnt for me.

I believe it, Dont get me wrong it was a sweet truck and i loved it when I owned it but I dont think id own another.

Hey everybody, how's it going. Today, i bring you a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche... (and today i'm at my family's dealership, Car Connections Inc. in Reidsville, NC) And this is going to be a full in-depth tour of this Avalanche, start it up show the engine... as well as get an exhaust clip, it's got a Custom Dual Exhaust on the rear? As well as check out a bunch of the features on the interior as well as exterior.
nice truck. only problem i find is with the tires. they are getting low on tred. other then that, great shape. and sounds sweet.

I love avalanches. I'm disappointed we ( i work for Ford Mo Co) don't have a suv/truck based FULL SIZED vehicle, not talking about the explorer sport trac. I also love GM's " auto trac " 4WD system, but like i said, i'm more of a ford guy, wish we had one that is full size.

@Friendly0Dan so people on the side of you can see which way you are going as well. ( by on the side, for example, i meant if you can look the driver right in the eye, and he/she can as well). Also, they offer unique styling.

For some reason mine doesn't have the z71 on the rear and I cant find no other info if it is but it's the exact one with a lift. Is mine a z71 also? I dont have a owners manual
it should have the rpo codes on a sticker in the glove box that will tell you all the options it has hope this helps

Not really anything to do with this, but have you put any aftermarket parts on your Genesis Coupe? I'd love to see more videos of that gorgeous car.
@cenaholic1522 okay. its better then the silverado for its short wheel base but is still like a Tahoe. its got a bit more room though its its a bed. it all depends on what you're gonna do with it. but for mudding, I bet its great and you'd like it a lot. its the crew cab of a silverado with a shorter bed.

@blue06lt I love 4WD, but the z-71 package just finishes everything off, locking differential, tougher suspention with more flex, the whole 9 yards, but if 4WD is just all you care about, go for it lol.
