You can get the quest from Oswald, he is found in the noble sector. He roams around the fountain and the surrounding area. IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD THE RUMOR, CHECK THE MORGE! For some reason I couldn't get the rumor to trigger until I found Ser Gregor's body and revived him. Go to his home after reviving him and he will tell you about Ser Ludolph eyeing his wife and how you shouldn't trust him. Rest a day and go back to his home and talk to his wife Margit, tell her about Ser Ludolph's and then agree to help her husband. This is a passage of time quest. Hope this helps others.

have you tried maybe making a guide where you don't fucking *fly* to the portcrystal?
Someone else commented that theres an easier path to the south, basically right below where the nest is
@@calumryan6328 yeah if you keep following the path you get to a campfire. behind that you can get to the nest.
terrible guide but if you guys are thief i just foundt another way up from there, if you follow the wall he flew up there will be a part that looks climable and if you have the jump skill where u jump toward the way you move the stick, itll Let you jump up exactly to the Rift stone
Don't know where the problem is? You go in the misty area and find the riftstone at the beginning and can 1:1 follow this guide. I did it myself... maybe you have trouble orientating yourself in general?
Other ways to get up my guy. Explore play the game and you can do it. Dude don't have to hold your hand lol.

Oh. Weird. I heard the rumor well before the nameless village. I was roaming the noble quarter at night and some guy skyrimed me into a conversation. Afterwards, I went exploring, excited that there were dullahan in the game, but instead found the griffin nest. At least now I know there's a quest.
It's a bit rough but you can find your way.
I had a guide pawn that knew the quest already. Would have been lost and dead without Ace!

After the quest was over, she even remarked that she and her own Master had actually _failed_ to save Gregor in their world, and that she was glad we managed to save him in my world. And not only that, but I also _killed_ the Dullahan outright rather than it managing to escape once it hit half health. My team consisted of myself as a Mystic Spearhand (maxed out and with the final skill you get from Sigured after helping him kill the diseased Lesser Dragon), a Warrior, a Thief, and a Mage.

Now I have 4 Portcrystals.
You can get another portcrystal is by finishing elf archer quest you found in vernworth (front of weapon store). Just finish his trial of archery quest, in which you need to safe his sister and father.

Just found an easier way, there a road south of misty marches (you can see it on the map) that has some rocks that that you can climb and it takes you right to the nest
I found this place on accident, but didn't realize it had a portcrystal. Nope'd out when I saw the sleeping Griffon. Must return!

I have not yet completed The Nameless Village, but I heard the rumor, and received the quest. I heard the rumor immediately after the masquerade.
i got this infomation from nameless arisen:
You do not need to do the Nameless Village quest or even trigger enough main story (Brant's questline) to unlock it for availability. Just speak to the fat nobleman standing by the fountain in the midst of the Noble Quarter in Vernworth.
Directions: on the map, the Comptroller's House is to the left of Watch Head's house (Gregor and Margit's house). Across the street from those houses is a stairway and the Townsend's Estate (that estate is directly opposite Comp). In front of the estate, to its left on the map, is the fountain. Find that fat guy there.
Tip: I have always done it this way (yeah... fourth run cause fucking game keeps erasing my progress for some reason) . As soon as you arrive to Vernwreglwkr (the capital), go to Gregor's house and he will be there. You talk with him and he gives the proper information about Ser Ludolph. Then next day you go to his wife and boom. Quest activated. XD Hope this helps
Having trouble finding the nest. Ended up fighting this red glowy ghost instead. But thanks for the guide. It helps.
Only thing I've noticed is that I did not need the nameless village done to start the quest. I've only done 3 msq (culling, investigate the queen, and freed the magistrate) and while getting a seeker token in the noble district I got the rumor. Otherwise it worked like a charm, having said that it might be lvl restricted. I'm currently 57, been maxing mine and pawns vocation instead of msq so either it can start the quest earlier, or it's lvl based not msq progress based to start
So I guess my question would be what happens? If you already been to the Misty Marsh and ran through it already, can I still go back and complete this quest to initiate the fight?
I just did the "Till Death Do Us Part" mission and not only did I save Gregor, but I was able to outright kill the Dullahan before it could run away. And then when I turned in the quest, one of my Support Pawns remarked that when she did that mission with her own Master, they failed to save Gregor and that it was good they were able to save him in my world. :)
My current team consists of myself as a Mystic Spearhand, a Warrior, a Thief, & a Mage.
i killed the dullahan and Gregor said he'd return to his wife, but the quest didnt update, it still tells me to aid him =/
Edit: i ran around a few days and later went back to that area and the quest updated, nice
My current team consists of my Arisen as a Mystic Spearhand, Main Pawn as a Mage following up with a Thief and a Sorcerer
What level was your level?
@@reyenl4314 Can't remember for sure, but I think it was around 40 or something. I already had the secret skill for Mystic Spearhand, and that skill just shredded the Dullahan like it was nothing. It eats up Stamina like no tomorrow, but also dishes out absurd damage in return.

So I completed the quest and I think I got a port crystal because I haven’t grabbed it from the nest yet I am gonna double check the nest to be sure but idk I am a lil confused
I spend hours wondering around her house and the city and never seeing her on the right side, thinking the quest might had failed already since I spend so many days with Sven
2nd playthrough, rode the griffin and it`s not here. might have to progress past monster culling?
you don’t get extra port crystals in NG+. only through the sphinx riddle.
Well damn I completed the nameless village quest but I must have missed the part about the rumor because going back trying to get this mission it's not working
i came to this place by riding the griffin and i already did kill the dullahan, didn’t know it has i quest 😢. i didn’t even meet with gregor😂
Would have been nice to also show it for those of us with out levitation. Would’ve been nice to say that we needed that before I started this quest and are on a time limit looking for where to go

You hear about it from the guy near the small fountain, than go to the wife. Idk about some guy near a inn. Nor did you show em.
My game glitched out on the quest. I killed the dullahan and got the cutscene but it didn’t update the quest to return to margit. I only noticed this after I had already ran all the way back to the city so I can’t reload the save.
I just tried something that may have worked I threw him to the brine and the quest seemed to have updated I’m going to check it out now to see if it worked.
It worked. Throw him in the water if he doesn’t update the quest.

If anyone else gets the glitch where he doesn't leave I had to use a wake stone on one of the fallen knights and he started walking back home then

How do we reach it without levitate or gryphons? They throw me off or take me somewhere else. I hate this so much.
he died in the fight, i believe the dullahan threw him into the water... XD anyways, I only got the sword and didn't get the shield which is pretty stupid, since you get the sword from brant already... so if you fuck up, you have the sword twice but the shield 0 times... :,(

Climb the griffin
you can Go around the part he climbs up. it will just add like 10 more seconds to the travel.

This quest was so broken to me. Not just broken but the npc’s I was trying to save, were attacking me and my pawns. killing me and my full party and every time I beat the boss, one of them was immortal. No matter what I did to him he kept respawning back attacking us and I couldn’t interact with the dude I had to rescue.
At last at my 7th try I just grabbed him away from that immortal idiot to finish the quest . 🤦🏽♂️😓
Well, I wasn’t able to save Gregor and now his wife Margit got red cheeks and follow me around the town

Im the healer they kill things, its works well except for the stronger dragon fights
should respawn like I said in a previous comment which was deleted I guess. ITEMS on the ground usually respawn depending on how long u rest

Honestly, I’m sorry I have to give you a bad review because you did this in the dark. You weren’t very clear where it is you went and ran so many places in the dark. How are we supposed to know where to go? I don’t think you thought this through for beginner who wants to get a crystal or even somebody that’s been playing for a little bit you just basically ran through and then said here is the crystalwith no detail
I am the same like you but it is going to be dark at anytime day and night it will be hard to see because of the fog
