I apologize for the quality of this video: I shot the video on an iPhone, and the color balance looked great on my iMac. I swear. It looked great in the editing software, but it doesn't work on CZcams. I don't get it. I still can't get color balance right, or the light-and-dark balance.
In all honesty, I'm glad to have accidentally stumbled on your channel during Covid. You saved me from picking one of those flat Amazon safes, and some other channels stamped some products as good even though there were visible flaws you mentioned in some of your videos.
I have one, and I will be doing a video about it just as soon as I get a couple of other videos recorded. I've had a hold up because of some microphone issues. But the problem is solved, so I'll be posting again.
Hi, was hoping someone could answer my question. For example the latest version of the Honeywell 5107 as reference. If i remove the batteries and use the bypass key exclusively, will the safe still be vulnerable to a bumping/jarring attack wherein the solenoid gets opened because of the jarring? Or is this type of safe vulnerable to a bumping/jarring attack, regardless of the solenoid, if it has one?
When I took the safe apart, I found too many holes in the door to bother plugging with nuts and bolts and washers. It was going to look ridiculous, so I tossed it out.
Let me look into it. I prefer to have companies donate products they are confident about. So I'll contact eufy and see if they are interested in donating a safe.
There really isn't any point to it. That safe is locked with a standard tubular lock, which I've exploited multiple times in my videos. Whenever you see a device locked with one of those round, tube-like keys, you should find something else.
Stupid question, probably... is the SentrySafe QAP1BLX updated from the junk which precedes it? I like the idea of a safe with bio and backlight, but man, what trash it has all seemed to be!
Oh my god, I can't believe somebody would ask a question like that. Kidding, just kidding. I have to examine that safe before I can say anything about it. I'll add it to my To-Do list.
@@HandgunSafe DID YOU JUST USE THE LORD'S NAME IN VAIN?! Hahaha, I'm here for it. Highly doubt SS has made any structural changes to the safe but a man can dream...
I have some news safes being delivered to me, and I already know I will be able to endorse them. Be patient and I'll have new recommendations to make. Before then, you can go to my playlist called, Handgun Safe Research Approved.
@@HandgunSafe Thanks, I did check them, they all horizontal and a bit smaller than I need. Of course, those brands have vertical and larger versions but too expensive for my needs. I'll wait for your new recommendations
@@esb-ol6yd No. One can always pry off the keypad fitting easily with a screwdriver and attack the mechanism with wire. There's wiring that might allow you to close the circuit on the reset button, and wiring for the solenoid. Then there is the possibility of mechanically attacking the solenoid. But I have no interest in getting another one to see if they've made any improvements.
@@manuelgunner100 I don't know what you mean by bump release, but the fundamental latching mechanism is the same now as it was before. Anyway, if you look at my recommendations list, you will see that I don't endorse safes that have a keyed lock. The only exceptions I've made are a small Rhino-Metals strong box and a Verifi Smart Safe. The reason I made the exceptions is that both safes allow for easy access to their locks, in the event that a knowledgeable lock person wants to change the locks. Also, the safes are not portable and are more likely to be properly bolted down.
@Handgun Safe Research sorry i heard bump release in the video. I will check your reccomendations list. Its unfortunate that they still use the same system.
Bad news: When I gutted the thing, I could see there was no way of making it secure, even if I changed out the lock. So I saved the lock I was going to use for a future project. Then I tossed out the ADIMO box, and promised the company I would do an update video as soon as they could send a new product. That'll be an entertaining video. In the mean time, I've got another company sending several new safes for review. They're better products, which is good because I still need a designated ammo cabinet for ammo and cleaning supplies.
I was excited to see your videos return. Then you opened with offensive swearing. Why? It does not improve the quality of the video in any way and is just offensive to many of your Christian viewers.

Hurray, more safes! Failed or approved, it's fun regardless.
By the way, thank you for recommendation, I got myself a safe from your approved list.
He's back!
Still got the moves

Any chance you will do a review on the Maxsafes Pro Gen2? Thanks for what you do, love your videos.

Can you do a video and give an update on what you did to the cabinet?

Would you look at the eufy Security Smart Safe Wi-Fi S10 or s12

what do you recommend instead of this. I'm looking for a basic not handgun safe (1.2-1.5 cu)?

@Handgun Safe Research that was a year ago do you think they fixed the bump release ?
