The Prusa mini is just way too expensive for what it is. The Bambu Lab A1 mini is the same size and pre built I believe and it's basically half the price of the Prusa ....
That is coming from someone who has just spent 700 on the Positron 3.2 but that's a completely different ball game 😜 for a start you get a pelican case with it, and it's different to most printers.

I feel like 3d printers are in a state of post mortem. Too many models out and they really haven't changed much since the prusa mk2 or since the original ender3. Nothing new and exciting, I pretty much moved on to a different hobby. 3d printing is still my hobby because I like the tinkering aspect of it. These 3d printer with closed sourced firmwares, like the kobra2pro and up, and bambulab, I'm just not interested in. They won't allow you to changed any of the settings. Prusa mk4 is too expensive still, for what it is.
I think these companies want to lock their 3d printers to their own app as well. That's a no go for me either. China is a hotbed for taking all your gcode, among other things. China needs to innovate, they just copy ewach other. The kobra3 looks like a bambulab a1. Knowing any cubic, they like to cut corners were they can. They don't support their 3d printers for more than a year, they just release a new one.
Sorry for the rant. At least prusa will support their 3d printers for the long term. I mean has their multi color improved? And has the mk4 got it working?
