You may be jobless but you are not worthless. Learn to stand up for yourself.❤️ 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 like and 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀. T𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 🥰🥰🥰

Thanks for this. It gets really frustrating sometimes so one just seemingly settles. I am encouraged
Hello mam,
I am working as Content Quality Check and looking for switch to Software Developer role in same Ed-Tech company. I have talked to Content department head, IT department head and HR. They all agree, and I will be considered as fresher in Software Developer role. Please tell me, how can I convince HR - to keep my compensation same as I am being paid in Content role, and that it shouldn't be lowered.
I think employers should be compelled to state the salary range when advertising for a role. This is actually a win-win as you also weed out candidates who might look amazing but wouldn't be willing to work for your organization based on the compensation range.
"Negotiating will NOT eliminate you from getting the job offer" I love this.... I've never negotiated for any job salary considering in mind that, I may lost the job. Thank you for the tip shared.
This is a good point for you, as employee see that you are not desperate, and that you believe in your knowledge, expertize , being professional.
Negotiating a pay raise did however end with me losing my job. lol
no but negotiating higher pay can cause you to lose the offer
The employer/HR would go for an alternate Candidate with similar skills with a lower salary demand, it's a win or lose situation
It's HR's job to do cost cutting
Brigette, fortunately, here in California, the question “what’s your current salary” and as banned by law. That’s one of the most unethical questions, in my opinion.
You receive not cos you ask not. I may be jobless but I am not worthless. My season and time is coming.
All true; plus, you have an amazing name!
Paul David, Jr. Thank you
I agree completely. 🙏🏻
10 classic questions asked during an interview:
1 - Tell me about yourself.
2 - Why do you want to work for us?
3 - Give an example of where you were able to use your leadership skills.
4 - What are your strengths and weaknesses?
5 - Where do you see yourself in five years?
6 - What is your greatest achievement?
7 - Why should we hire you?
8 - Are you a good team player?
9 - What are your salary expectations?
10 - Do you have any questions?
Spot on 😂 it’s like they are reading from a teleprompter. Some people have no skills to interview other people and not sure why they let them conduct the interviews. This is NUTS!!! I am not sure where I see myself 5 years from now, does the company value its employee for me to make that determination?
where is your videos giving tips and advice? You go make your own videos and ask your own question I'm here only for Brigette Hyacinth mean man
Am falling in love with your grandma's word(If it did not open then it's not your door)
Any thing for me?
You are the best! I had an important interview this morning, and I watched a bunch of folks on CZcams before I found you. You are by far the warmest, most encouraging, funny, and thorough. Your energy is such a boost, and I felt so confident going into the interview after watching your videos. Others seem to use fear as a tactic for trying their techniques, and you use encouragement, which is wonderful. Thank you, and I nailed the interview!
Congratulations‼️
I will bring this "You may be jobless but you are not worthless." I love every single word you say, Mam Bridgette. Thanks, because I was able to come across your very inspiring Video.
The job seeking process can be really discouraging. I wish employers can give feedback whether the applicant was successful or not which can help in future interviews.
Amen 🙏🏾 I’ve been looking for a job for nearly a year now, it’s very frustrating. I wanna sell drugs 🤦🏽♂️
My colleague and I said the samething lastweek in our discussion that employers don't gives a feedback on an applicant performance after an interview.
You can send an email to the recruiter and they'll reach out and return an answer
I totally agree to this fact
I had this HR previously and she didn't reply in any of my text and email. She told my frend who knows her that she didn't receive any. She's the worst HR I had ever experienced.
Working at Walmart we recently went through pay band consolidation. They said that they researched the industry, comparable companies, and out of that adjusted the pay bands to make them more competitive. I asked about the research, industry averages, who the comparable companies were, etc. The answer is that their industry research involved just Walmart because there is no other company that is comparable to Walmart.
I love coaching my elite clients on this topic. We do not leave money on the table. Period. Knowing your worth and what you bring to the table is critical.
Thank you for this very informative video, sometimes when one has been looking for too long, you start to feel worthless. Thanks you for reminding me that I may be jobless but I am NOT worthless.
I’d love to see more companies with pay transparency. Thanks for the tips 👍🏽💥
Agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed
Highly likely that wouldn't happen, companies maintain negotiating leverage by keeping things close to the vest rather than giving the public a specific figure or salary range.
So true! It's to the point where I don't apply to jobs that don't post their salary range
I really loved this video! Especially the statement "I may be jobless, but I'm not worthless" :)
