Watch the video to find out! Here I outline a rather unusually named approach to answering awkward questions on salary expectations.
Apply it with your own judgment keeping in mind the culture and industry you have in mind.

It’s really helpful, this is my third video in a day. I’m also working as an HRBP and got few offers outside. They also asked me about the salary expectations, might be I I quote high amount, bcz of that I have not received a call back from them😂, I also checked online and quoted as per that.
Thanks for making this video... All the tips you mentioned really helped me while negotiation.
Totally agree on your point negotiation on Thursday makes difference...

This is the best video on negotiation I have seen! Thank you so much :)
You’re welcome Sanmit! Did you watch the salary negotiation video too?
@@SuperChargeYourself Will watch it! :)
i've taken a different approach to this and have always given the prospective employer a reasonable salary range if asked during an interview (after doing my own research about the local job market). I think for as long as your skills and experience match the role and your salary expectations are reasonable, you're bound to get the job. Love your channel by the way and I like your speaking skills - so engaging.
Great you found an approach that works for you.
Thanks for sharing!

Great video. Just one potential issue: some companies will *not* let you progress to the interview stage without giving a number. So then it's down to market research (and a bit of luck)
Many thanks for the video 🙏🏾🙏🏾

My approach has become smart after watching many of your videos. Extremely educational and enlightened. I did made use of your tips and HR recruiter was so happy with my talk. The offer which he offered initially. He increased that to 40% that was beyond my expectations. I would like to express my gratitude to you and always be grateful to you. Thank you once again for your knowledge sharing 😇
Thanks so much for sharing! Happy you’re here and congrats on the offer Khalid! 👏🏼
Thank you so much. It is very useful. I have an interview today. Best wishes to you
All the best to you !
Thank you very much. I did crack a decent package based on your tips provided. Awesome😊
Congrats Khalil, that’s great!
Thank you so much Sonal
Thanks for watching
Very well and strategically explained 👍🏻
Thanks for watching! Glad it’s helpful
I enjoyed you bubbly personality, knowledge and honest insight. It is a challenge to answer the salty question now that you are not specking with someone when applying on-line. It is frustrating not knowing what number to input for the salary block to not be illuminated from consideration by an algorithm.
Agreed, glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching
Thank you I have learned some really good tricks today for salary negotiation
glad to hear it Shweta!
I really like your videos - only critique is to reduce the sound on your opening as the music is super loud! Keep up the great content
Really like the way your share perspectives
Thanks
Thanks for sharing valuable information ℹ
Thanks for watching
That's awesome, really feel more confident.
Good! You’ve got this!
loved it, i already feel confident. HR's are too adamant, all my HR's are smirking whilst they are talking to me. I always think what mischievious plans are they making, may be they don't want to give me salary or something.
Lmao so true. I dont know why they smirk during interviews smh makes me nervous 😩
Superb..I really like the way you speak n motivate..Appreciate your talent..I m learning so much from u bcz u r encouraging and inspiring me...I shall use ur tips..God bless u.
You’re very welcome Mary ♥️

Thanks for watching and good luck !
Wow. This will really help me.
All the best!
Hi, I recently came across your videos and found your content super helpful. On top of what you suggested, how do candidate ask for more when candidate finds out that the offered package is on the lower side of the range ie there’s a scope of earning more. Of course there are factors that decide the CTC but I’m sure there’s a polite way to ask and get what we want. Pls share some tips.
The way u talk about job it's really interesting to listen as per ur expressions so nice looks n personality
Thanks for watching
that's some cool advice
love this video

@@SuperChargeYourself I follow in your LinkedIn too. Its looks rich text of knowledge that you share ... I was looking for this answer as the way you explained is beautiful
Thanks..You sure have a way with words..
thank you!
Thanks Mam. You are great !
Thank you 😊
You are beautiful and so your style of delivery.... Thanks ❤️😘
I recently applied your tips in my interviews and got very good hike in very reputated MNCs...I got offers from 3-5 MNC since I was preparing after gap..not only this video, but I watched so many of your videos.. You are a gem..😘❤️love from Delhi India
That’s wonderful, congrats Shikha!!
The tips indeed sound valuable. Unfortunately in India the HRs are only willing to hear the number or otherwise they don't move the candidature. I have experienced most wherein there 2nd question is what is my expectation. It's their KRA to hire the candidate at lowest amount possible and close the position with minimum TAT, they are least bothered if the candidate leaves after few months. Position closed, KRA achieved.
Although, I am gonna try these in my next interaction. TIA
It is very helpful mam . Thanks a lot
Thanks for watching!
Thank you mam for this useful video your very awesome and very well u explained 👌👌👌👌👌
Glad it’s helpful Nikita!
Great content and super helpful...hopefully no HRs see this video, else they will know the tricks.. lol
Thanks again for taking out your time and helping the job hunters ! :) Take care !!
😊 thanks for watching ! And HR are employees too, everyone can learn something new
Very good and helpful
Shubham Mandal thank you !
Great value
Thank you
I love you!
This is what I have used, and until now it has given me the best offer.
" I don't have any such numbers in my mind right now. However, I believe with the experience and domain knowledge I have, you will offer me the best possible offer according to the market."
This was helpful. Thank you :)
I already gave a range in the pre interview stage .. How will I use any of these methods
@@nandini45 Your welcome :)
@@komalgupta1162 Then go for the research method. If the offer is not as per your expectations then use the below line.
" Thank you so much for the offer. I do appreciate all the efforts that have been put here. However, during my research, I have realized that the market value for the years of experience and domain knowledge I have we can have another look at the offer and a better number can be proposed. I propose that we take another look at the salary you offered me and the designation in order for you to take into account my designation, experience, skills and education.
I look forward to developing a long-term relationship with the organization, and
I am expecting a better designation and salary that is in harmony with my credentials and sufficient to meet my personal needs. Let us get together and reconsider your offer. I am confident that we can reach a figure that is satisfactory to both of us."
