TOP 10 BATTLEFRONT 2 HEROES RANKED FROM WORST TO BEST (Final Ranking)
The gameplay is of Star Wars Battlefront II, with some Heroes vs Villains, Strike and more! We'll be playing as Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Leia, Darth Maul and more!
All of these rankings are our opinions so if you disagree please leave a respectful comment below on why you believe it should be any different!

Tbh I wouldn’t have put Grevious in the top 3. His Claw Rush can be parried for 3 free hits, and after his most recent nerf it only hits once, so you could just stand there and smack half of his life bar while he circles around hysterically. Thrust Surge can also be parried once exactly, and then dash behind for another free hit. (Forgot the name) And his Middle Ability is so horrible in any mode that using it is practically a death sentence from behind. If your reaction time is fast enough, you could actually use his Thrust Surge against him by throwing him off ledges. Luke, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Han are all capable of pushing him off during his Thrust, and Anakin can just counter with his pull. That on top of his atrocious stamina (especially against Gunners) makes him pretty horrible and always easy to kill. Whenever I see a Grevious on the enemy team (especially in HvV)- worrying about him is the last thing on my mind. I’d still say that Vader is the best character in the game, with Luke and Palpatine being right behind him. Luke speaks for himself, and Palpatine (when used correctly) absolutely shuts down lobbies (GA) and can carry an entire match in HVV without dying once.

@@darthplagueis7609 I think he is simply because of how fast he is and his higher stamina, if you use him and maneuver right, you can effectively win 2v1 situations, but it almost any fight depends on the specific situation.
Yoda is by far the worst dueler. His first swing is so slow, the enemy actually has time to block and hit him without parrying and his dash can be countered with your own swing and do more damage. My brother and I tested this. Yoda is the hardest one to Parry with but I think it's not too hard to learn and he can be devastating with it if you combine a Parry swing with a dash attack, but then again, is that really better than getting 2 swings off a parry while doing more damage and faster like all the other heroes can? Not to mention heroes that can parry with a swing and an ability to give them more swing hits.
But on the other hand, he might be the best Saber Hero on the Light Side in trooper game modes. He's a literal God. He's hard to hit, with the best block by far in the game that charges his push that can clear a room, his slower swings home in on troopers and his dash is devastating. His presence is great and my bro uses the card so if he takes damage after using the ability, his regains SO much health.
Totally agree with you that's why he's top ten but not very high up on our list. He can be a really good counter to kylo and Vader with both their choke and freeze however so that boosts him a bit as well

I think Anakin Skywalker was nerfed too much. His retribution should be harder to get but be 4 seconds again, his stamina regen needs to be faster than Luke's and a charged Heroic Might needs to kill all normal troopers except heavies (the card will let the skill kill heavies).
Anakin is the 2nd worst duler in the light side or in general. 2nd only to Yoda. His stamina is garbage and it doesn't regen fast enough with how little he has. He's buggy as hell and you really have to train hard to make him very good like I have.
Anakin is still amazing in trooper modes, 2nd only to Yoda on the light side. But his heroic might damage reduction cuts off before the ability is over and his retribution sucks most of the time because even if it doesn't bug out, the damage and how long it is isn't enough to kill everybody and you either die or take too much damage. And lastly, I'd make Anakin's stamina reverse Obi Wan's. He can swing almost forever but it will start to drain once he's blocking stuff but not in a crippling matter.

beam that is very good advice but it does bring him lower on our list for sure. He really shines in troop modes however
NO SHIT he was nerfed too much they literally destroyed him his abilities quite literally DON’T work. Not even passionate strike works now it’s not even just HM anymore. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I don’t care if they think they’re “done” with this game or not they need to get back on there and fix the damn bugs. They destroyed him on purpose. He’s had FOUR hard nerfs. Four. That’s insane. Everyone else that’s had a hard nerf has only gotten one.
I 100% agree with him being a reverse Obi-Wan. They could have reworked the Steamroll card so that it automatically drains 40% less stamina while attacking, but his block remains the same.
Nowadays when I use Anakin, I have to use Massive Strikes and Steamroll together since his damage output and stamina are both trash. Can't rely on his abilities since they bug out or are too inconsistent, so I have to turn him into a striker.

Even tho Anakin was heavily nerfed I still feel
he could be a bit higher because his attacks weather it be abilities or saber swings they hit like a truck. An experienced player could manage his weaknesses like stamina easily and overall he’s still very good especially in the right hands.
He definitely can be in the great in the right hands (I’m an anakin main level 800). It takes a lot more skill to be good and survive now putting him a lot lower on the list. Every character is good if you put all your time into them but it’s how they stand on their own that matters for a ranking list
A good player like myself with Massive Strikes and Steamroll maxed out is so Godlike that people claim I'm cheating.

Kylo Ren is probably the 2nd best Dueler on the Dark Side. It's absolutely devastating to parry somebody twice and then use Frenzy on them. He's also great at 2v1 battles since pull and freeze with get you in great positions to shred them alive. He's just perfect. Mostly. It's annoying when you freeze and pull them and they just drop instead of being pulled.
His trooper game modes he's great too. I just wish his frenzy did more than 3 hits like it used to but even then Kylo Ren is great for stacking up the kills.

Saber heroes:
10: Yoda- For all the reasons you listed, but this is personal since I suck with Yoda lol
9: Dooku: Very Strong in HvV and close quarters GA maps like Naboo, not much else.
8: Maul: One of the highest skill ceilings for a hero as skilled Mauls are terrifying to fight. However in GA/Supremacy, Maul is very difficult to do well with due to his low health, average regen, below average defensive stamina and the need to combine his abilities into one combo to kill even a heavy with no star cards.
7: Rey: Rey is a monster in GA thanks to her Insight ability and powerful in HvV thanks to dash strike. However, she has no crowd control. She must be up close and personal to defeat enemies, making killing Aerials immensely difficult. She has average stamina, below average damage (She can’t even one shot from behind without Insight wtf), average health and average regen. She’s good tho.
6: Obi-Wan: Obi-Wan is insane in GA/Supremacy thanks to his incredible regen, One shot push that even kills heavies, amazing Defensive Rush that even deflects explosive shot and ridiculous stamina. He suffers in hero modes, however, due to his low offensive stamina, average damage, and generally having a harder play style. Basically the GA version of Dooku lol.
5: Anakin: Despite your reasons and the General glitchiness of his character, Anakin is still pretty damn good in my eyes. His ability combo is still monsterous, he has high damage, High stamina with Steamroll if you use it, High health, Incredible crowd control and an easy to master playstyle. If he wasn’t so bugged, I’d put him at number 2. However, his bugs are insane and he has a general weakness that can be exploited. He is a very stationary hero, as he can’t move during any of his abilities, unlike most heroes in the game. He is also heavily star card reliant.
4: Kylo: Kylo has a night and day difference with his current hero and his launch hero. He was a contender for the worst then and now he is a contender for the best. His pull is arguably better than Anakin’s because of its longer range and usability in the air. Frenzy is amazing in every shape and form. Fast cooldown, high damage, block breaking, long ranged killing machine. Freeze is a death sentence to anyone it is performed on, to the point of unfairness. He has high stamina and high damage from behind. Stunning.
3. Luke: Luke is insane. High damage thanks to Intensify along with a ridiculous fast stamina regen? Yes.
His Push can clear a whole objective, can be used in the air, has a long range, can push heroes to their doom and is just amazing. Repulse is just push but 360 degrees and lower damage. Repulse can oneshot and go through block with Epicenter. Rush is a god-tier dash ability that can combine with Repulse perfectly and allows him to escape deadly situations as well. The only weakness is that Luke is fragile, so noobs suck with him.
2. Vader: Good God. Vader has good damage, high defensive stamina, high health and amazing ability combos. Saber Throw isn’t as good as it used to be, but it’s still a cheeky instant 130 damage through anyone’s block. Focused Rage is insane. Instant 200 health with double stamina on top of it. He can use this ability, the extra health star card, and Furious Resilience to get up to 1400+ health, Double that of a average hero. Force choke is a death sentence to anyone hit by it as your team can rip the choke victims apart like vultures. Only downside is that he is a huge target and has a slow stamina regen delay.
1. Grievous: Claw Rush.

Do not fight him upfront. Ever. He will eat your ass. Run if he has his attention on you. Only engage if you’re certain you can deal massive damage or kill him. If you absolutely have no choice but to fight him, here’s how: Never even attempt to fight him if Focused Rage is active. Remember that saber throw can hit you on the return through your block. Dodge the returning hit with a dash. Don’t take your eyes of him or lower your guard unless you see or hear him use his Choke. Use your Rush’s in combination with normal dashes to overwhelm him in saber combat. Force push him away if you can’t fight him one on one. Don’t use Repulse, he will block it and kill you. Use Intensify. Don’t try to out damage him.
So basically: Don’t approach unless necessary, Be very careful in a fight. Run if things get hairy.
Run these cards: Intensify because duh. Extended push reach for the range on push and Jedi Reflexes so you can dance around any enemies or have a final escape route.
General Skywalker would epicenter be a good idea for a card as well. Also, who would u recommend to fight vader

This my opinion I'm pretty sure it's not a popular one but here it is :
1. Vader (I think he is the best by far with his survivability and insane damage output)
2. Greivous ( his claw rush makes him op as well as health regeneration card which gives him high survivability)
3. Kylo ( kylo is a really well balanced hero with good abilities, his frenzy against heroes makes him really good, like a better version of Anakin's passionate strike dealing damage through blocks)
4. Anakin( anakin's ability loop is really good against villains as you can also get a follow up swing, in trooper modes retribution and heroic might clear rooms, his stamina is his down side, but I think it is fairly easy to manage if u know how to play him, the main problem with Anakin is the bugs like u mentioned)
5. Han ( Han is by far the best blaster hero, his detonate charge is really good when used well, shoulder charge if u want to finish off weak villains, and his blaster does a ton of damage if u hit ur headshots).
6. Rey ( one of the best duelists with her dash and two follow up swings, her mind trick still confuses some players to this day, her insight gives her more stamina and cards let last for longer as well as wall hacks)
7. Luke ( good swing speed and damage output with intensify, his abilities are good in trooper modes but his abilities are only good if u manage to get an opening to use them, use them at the wrong time e.g rush and repulse, u r left vulnerable, I always look for that opening with a Vader or kylo to get them with a freeze or choke, and Luke's regen is really low so if Vader catches him with a choke half his health is already gone, but he has really fast health regeneration which makes him really good to get back in the fight quickly)
8. obi wan ( nothing much to say, really good health regeneration insane stamina and a balanced hero, only downside is his swing speed )
9. maul ( abilities can overwhelm opponent, his speed is what makes him good, the thing with maul is to always stay on the move, however his health is low and if u miss abilities like choke hold ur opponent can get two swings in )
10. palpatine ( palpatine is good but I find him to be not amazing his lightning can drain stamina, apart from Yoda and blaster hero's its usually a struggle to deal with a good palatine who jumps and dodges around all the time)

Kinda feel dooku should get more love I hardly see people that use him and he’s in my opinion the best duelist in the game and his lightning can take someone from max health to half and if you hit them while they are on the ground it’s almost instant death

Even though I'm late to the party, I just wanted to say that I nearly 100% agree with you list and I completely agree with everything you said about Ani. DICE had him at the perfect place before they released the BB-8/BB-9E update. He was really strong, but not the strogest and by far not as strong as he used to be, but there were just people who were nonstop complaining about Anakin, while at the time somebody like Vader just got buff after buff after buff, but Vader just fell under the radar because of the constant hate against Anakin. I'm an Anakin main as well (I have him at MAX) and it really hurts me to play him in his current state. The latest nerf was completely unnecessary and the bugs are literally ruining him. If he would work properly he would already be like 75% better.

I think most OP heroes are balances because they have incredible weaknesses. Leia's E-11 is OP in damage but is a literal suicide ability if a saber hero blocks if when close to her. Grievous's Claw Rush is easily parryable and Dooku's Duelist, if spammed, can be parry spammed to death easily.

@@battlefrontbros9524 😳😭 you’re sleeping hard on the chad clone commandos easily the best reinforcement perfect star cards hella fast recharge on the right and left abilities and serves the best job when killing big heroes like dooku and grevious (maul and bossk are easy prey) they’re honestly way too good 3-2 shot full health tanks one shot droideka shields 2 shot b2 rocket droids repulse plus battle focus TANKS ANYTHING saving you from nonexistent health with your anti armor detachment or regular blaster against WAVES of clankers I find myself absolutely tanking grevious bossk maul easily with this ability rotation and even walk out full health against dooku with his lighting stun and dueist honestly the list goes on I wrote so much

Obi Wan is a pretty good dueler. Mainly because of his defense. I gotta give credit, they really nailed making Obi Wan the defensive hero. But imo He doesn't have enough offense to go with it. He just needs a bit more. I'd make Defensive Rush last much longer and run faster than Rey's dash strike and kill troopers in one hit even without the card, and make the optional final swing do 100 damage through any saber block. But even so, Obi Wan is an amazing Parrier. It's ridiculous. His push offers great protection with the damage reduction it has as well, that isn't even worth parrying. But his mid trick ability kinda sucks. Most of the time, who cares when you get hit by hit. I wish it was like how it was before.
In Trooper Modes he's okay Pretty good at defending but isn't great of offense. But if you wanna play as a Saber hero the whole time, Obi Wan is your best bet with how survivable he is. I'd make his push much longer so he can clear the Supremacy Ship hallways at full length tbh

Anakin can still be good in the right hands, it just takes a little bit of practice and you should definetly use the steamroll card
Lmao literally Im anakin lvl 150 and is my most played hero but for real he sucks and Im pretty sure I play good with him. The only thing that stands up is his pull heroic might combo and his high health but for the rest hes the worst lightsaber hero and it breaks my heart since he is my favorite character. he is slow, buggy, and has weakest stamina in the game.
Unpopular opinion: Luke is overrated. While do repulse he can get choked, froze, pulled, and so on. He can also get hit twice by a lightsaber during repulse. Not to mention he also no damage reduction during repulse so it just makes you a sitting duck. Aside from that, solid list.
I can see how you would think that but his mobility and swing speed and highest lightsaber damage in the game are still so damn strong. Also being able to push while jumping adds to his Mobility. He’s the fastest hero in the game

Anakin is still too 3 imo. You can fix his stamina issue by using the star card “steamroll” and other than that the only thing that makes him “bad” are the bugs. I always get first when I’m using him

Anakin skywalker needs a fat buff like to a retribution and he needs a heroic might rework dmg cap 400 and retribution 500 dmg and 350 to hero’s and he needs a stamina buff and health regeneration buff

I've been that Han who gets run over (3x) by Grievous. Quite annoying! I like this list--and I swear I'm not trolling--but I've had good luck with Phasma. It may just be my play style but her combo of distance and close in makes her formidable. Shocking Luke (or any other Jedi) with her Droid, and then bashing him/her with her staff never gets old.
She is definitely pretty good in HVV but what made us not put her on the list is she kind of has to camp on her droid making her pretty useless in modes like supremacy and GA
@@battlefrontbros9524 fair point... although she's good at holding space in supremacy (but, then, so is Bossk). I can see how Iden might be stronger given her shield and agility. Leia, since the revamp, has really improved. Those grenades can be unpleasant to deal with...
Sean M yeah the main reason Iden or bossk would be higher on the list is mobility also both of those characters have some sort of grenade or explosion I.e. idens alt fire

Okay, no. Just no. You fix this video right away. I've fought against amazing Vaders and Grievouses and have played as both and there is no way Grievous is better than Darth Vader. Even when I fight my brother, who isn't better than me, I mop Grievous away while I get my ass kicked against Vader and I'll tell you why.
Grievous might made the better base damage output, but that is nothing, *nothing* compared to Darth Vader's combos. Grievous's claw rush ability is great but it's honestly easy to parry with some practice and if you're not charging at it like an idiot and can render the move almost useless. Completely useless if you us a force ability or pull when he's running away. Grievious's lunge attack is laughably easy to parry with 2 swings, or even just 1 if you don't want to risk it. And his Unrelenting Advance sucks. It should drain your stamina is 2 quick hits completely but it doesn't.
Darth Vader's choke is great for offence and defense. It makes you unable to be ragdolled or even damaged because you can block with it. And on top of that it punishes anything in the game. If you got parried and they wanna use an ability for the 2nd hit? Choke. Worse case scenario you don't get the choke but it bails you out. His Focus Rage also allows him protection as he can block even during the animation. And his throw? That might be his most important ability.
The best combo in the game isn't Anakin's pull and Heroic Might/Retribution or Choke and Saber throw after wards. Darth Vader's saber throw, if it hits them from behinds (which you can easily do by aiming at their legs) will stun them long enough for a free swing or to choke them, which can give you 2 more free swings. This is the combo. When someone swings at you, parry the swing with your saber swing, then use the saber throw at their legs for your 2nd hit. Then as they're stunned choke them and as they drop, dash forward and saber swing them twice. With a card on this will one shot anybody with 750 HP and even without cards will render than with like 50 HP. They're done for.
Vader and Grievous are really close in trooper modes but Vader far outclasses Grievious in hero modes. Grievous with some practice can be easily punished but Darth Vader by default has all of his abilities bail him out with a near 750 hp combo. Even without a parry it's more than half of your health. So Darth Vader should be #1.

@@battlefrontbros9524 That only happens every now and then. And I can say atleast Vader has his other 2 abilities to bail him out of anything if choke fails. And if that does happen with choke, it's not like it hurts Vader. Meanwhile Greivious's unrelenting advance bugs out and gets him killed!
AlexDeGhost well I’m 1v1s I never really touch unrelenting advance but clawrush one shots a blaster Vader can’t so that’s why greivious is a little better I believe!
Also another point! I totally agree in hero modes vader could be arguably a bit better however in troop modes claw rush can quite literally take out the entire enemy team as we have showcased many times on our TikTok. That puts him slightly above but it was very close for sure

My top 10 hero rankings would be
1. Grievous(so op with his claw rush, health regen, damage reduction, star cards,etc)
2. Vader(most tankiest character in the game, so much health, reduction, great abilities, etc, he’d be lower if the vader glitch wasn’t a thing so)
3. Luke(his ability loop is really good, his swing speed, rush, damage with the intensify star card he can one shot even heavies with his saber swings, his push, repulse, etc)
4. Kylo(pull, freeze, frenzy are all great abilities, etc)
5. Palpatine(lightning melts enemy heroes stamina, hard to hit with his dodges, great damage, aimbot lightning, etc)
6. Maul(without bugs is this good and is getting fixed thankfully with the update, has best ability recharges and loop, great star cards to beef him up, choke throw and spin are amazing, i mean he’s the og killstreak getter)
7. Anakin(great ability loop, passionate strike is useless, it does less damage than his swings, no damage reduction, his regen his bad, and stamina is the 2nd worst in the game behind grievous)
8. Obi-Wan(best stamina in the game, best health regen in the game, mind trick is mildly annoying as opponents, his push is great, and defensive rush is great with the forward star card!
9. Leia(alt fire amazing, detonators are great, increased heath regen, rapid fire is most dominant close quarters weapon in the game, shield is good for healing and support play.)
10. Han(best blaster in the game, detonite and shoulder charge are great, yet the reticle on sharpshooter is less accurate and does the same damage as his normal blaster but with decreased mobility and turn speed, great hero overall)
That’s an interesting top ten for sure! Tbh I would definitely have to disagree with putting Leia above Han. With alt fire all you have to do it block and you have zero rag dolls whatsoever. She’s good for sure but under zero circumstances is she better than Han at least in my opinion

To me I think it all depends on how good you are using the character. Obviously they have their weak/strong points but it really depends on skill.
Anakin is good but the massive strikes gets rid of the stamina in like 3 hits so I wouldn't recommend it at all if anything its actually a terrible card. Possibly the worst but if you actually master anakin you can be amazing with him. Yes its bugged but it rarely does it anymore so I dont think it's that bad

Luke Skywalker. What is there to say. He's a fantastic dueler. Maybe the best on the light side. The only downsides I know of Luke are his dash ability is easy to parry and punish and he has like no health regeneration. And his repulse doesn't work sometimes. But he's still devastating. Especially against Kylo Ren. If he uses Frenzy, simply repulse and swing away. He can parry with repulse as well, which is great and it can even do damage through blocks with the right card. Plus he can keep his stamina up forever if done right
Trooper game modes he's still an unstoppable monster. TBH I wish they kept his swing speed low but not nerf the card where the more kills he gets the higher the damage so he can 2 shot all reinforcements and one shot heavies. That's be fair to me.

The health regeneration on Luke is absolutely abysmal but it is countered by the fact he can get it back quickly by getting a few kills

Great video! I feel like Rey is super underrated in this game and could have maybe replace Yoda or Obi Wan though! A good Rey is super deadly with being able to provide the entire team wall hacks, mind tricking to prep kills for herself or others, a great multi kill dash, excellent swing speed and saber tracking, and I feel like she's just more reliable than a Obi/Yoda in most situations!

@@negrito7196 Her character in the movies doesn't have anything to do with her hero design in game. I haven't experienced this dash bug so to each their own, but I still think she's great in hero modes with her star card that gives her 3 dashes so she can get behind people and out manoeuvre them. Also her mind trick is super handy for allowing her to get behind people since their camera becomes more stiff to move. And while stuck in the mind trick a dash strike to their back can't be blocked and can give her one or two free hits on top of the initial damage.
what about rey and boba fett they are the two most slept on heroes in the game for HvV

I think Iden Versio should be rank #1 because she a long range and short range hero she can take down huge crowd of troopers with her secondary weapon plus it's splash damage lightsaber hero can't blocked that and he sniper can one shot any trooper if charge and her Droid can stun heros and melt down their hp so I think Iden Versio should be rank #1
That is a very good point for sure but I think that the fact she has no knockdown ability makes her a bit weaker

Eddie Erdeljac any hero can be good if you main them and put a lot of time into them. Aniken is very good in troop modes but he lacks in hero to hero modes hence why he is lower on our list

@@battlefrontbros9524 his blaster has great damage. He has by far the best mobility. He can stay in the air for almost the whole match with argumented gear and his fuel cards. His rocket barrage is great to finish off targets and his dodges are great to confuse targets and get a few hits in. And his flamethrower is great aswell. I don't see any blaster hero as good as him rn

Anakin's deflection stamina against blasters is actually better than Kylo, Maul, Luke, Rey, Dooku and Grievous.
Vader, Kenobi and Yoda have around 2121 total damage they can deflect putting them above Anakin.
Anakin's total is 1321 whereas Kylo, Rey, Dooku and Luke sit around 1100. Maul has around 800 and Grievous has just under 300.
I disagree that his stamina against Sabers is bad, yes he can only block 10 consecutive swings but Luke, Yoda, Maul and Grievous can only block 10 aswell. Vader, Dooku, Rey and Kylo can block 14 and Kenobi can block 25.
All in all, Anakin's stamina isn't bad but the bugs are definitely an issue.
