- Hi Everyone! I hope you enjoyed this video of my Tier List for all the Heroes & Villains in Star Wars Battlefront 2. I have included Subtitles/Closed Captions in English for you guys and I want to also apologize for the loud noise at the start of the video.
QUICK DISCLAIMER: I'm basing this tier list on each character's performance in Heroes vs Villains ONLY. This tier list is just my opinion and my playstyle.

Disagree. Obi-Wan belongs in S. I routinely get 20 kills in Hvv matches and 80,000 point games.
Safeguard, Quickend Focus and Forward is the best card combo for the most damage output while bolstering the defense as a byproduct. You do not need Jedi Resilience if you are a competent player, just pure overkill. You absolutely want to increase his attacking stamina and make the defensive rush 1 shot most or be an effective villain finisher. And his force push leaves him open and vulnerable and predictable speed it up to catch people off guard or get them before they get out of range.
Wow, I really don’t agree with many of these picks at all. But that’s the fun fun of tier lists. Different opinions. We do agree on Vader standing firmly in the S-tier, but who doesn’t?

I love that everyone has different opinions on the heroes tier list. It shows how diverse the heroes are and how everyone has multiple heroes for their playstyle.

Idena Versio should at least be B tier or A tier because of that damn secondary fire that can be spammed and can even damage through shields 😂 It doesn't really have much of a cool down either.
I havn't played BF2 in 2 years and I cannot believe Finn is in A tier and I got this game at launch

imo Finn is amazing in every mode except HvV
A good palpatine player IMO is the most annoying thing this game has to offer. Sweaty palps are the worst hahah. Great list by the way, I mostly agree with it

Yeah i think its because he just hates iden alot but tbh i view her in a similar light to palpatine as they're both annoying to fight while playing certain as characters, however i personally have a good time on them.
Maybe its because i always win while playing them, but i gotta say not being a spammy iden and using her sniper elevates the gameplay a ton
Her sniper ability is also underrated. It does solid damage and goes through block which essentially makes her a better chewie

Luke is S tier
Bossk is extremely good on trooper modes. Just sit in the back of the map and snipe the entire enemy team
Puting iden in F tier is kinda crazy
I enjoy how you separated this a HvV versus other modes. Characters that excel in some modes really do bad in others

I agree. After playing more and more with Dooku and obi wan, I may have misjudged how strong they can be. I’d bring down yoda and move both of them to high B tier.
Only thing I disagree with is leia above Han boba and bossk. Sure she’s strong but she stands no chance against a somewhat competent vader Kylo or greivous in a 1 on 1. Han has 2 knockdown, bossk has insane hops and some op abilities and boba can just fly away. Leia is useless in a 1 on 1 against a saber character
I just miss playing as Greedo, Dengar or Nien Numb.
Phasma, Finn, Iden and BB9E are some of the lamest/uninteresting characters possibly to add to your game

As someone who mains 3 of the characters you list i’m very upset lol. Top 3 favorite villains of mine are BB-9E, Phasma, and Iden

A tier: Count Dooku, Boba Fett, Leia, Anakin, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Palpatine
B tier: Bossk, Obi Wan, Rey, Iden
C tier: Yoda, Lando, Chewbacca, BB8
Free kills: Finn, Phasma, BB9E
Phasma is super situational but even if the player know what he’s doing but is not surrounded by other villains just switch to Anakin, pull her away from her droid and she’s cooked
No matter how good you are, Phasma only performs well when your team is either amazing or just sticks together/camps with ur droid
Nah Rey and Leah are not very strong
I would put Yoda at b just my opinion though
The problem with Chewie is that he is very difficult to learn compared to other blaster heroes, I had a hard time learning how he is played but I eventually came a chewbacca main xD it’s hard to learn but becomes a beast once you learn his play style.
Lando and his smoke grenade are an underrated tool against the swing spamming meta that most average Bf2 HvV players play
For those who dont know the smoke grenade disables the saberlock tracking so saber heroes cant just swing spam and have the their attacks autotrack you despite you dodging around

Imo both Finn and Yoda are at the bottom of the list. Finn is just too heavily reliant on his team and gets singled out a lot. He’s basically a free kill if he doesn’t have all his teammates with him which is pretty much most of HvV. Yoda is just… I can’t even come up with a proper word for him… he can get overwhelmed really easily, his attacks are way too slow and his abilities leave him far too open to other attacks. Short story, but did you know his dash was never supposed to go through blocks? it was a glitch the whole time which is why in one update (when battlefront still had support) his ability to dash through blocks disappeared completely. When people asked why Dice got rid of that feature, Dice didn’t even know Yoda was able to do that and said it was a bug. Of course in the update after that they brought that feature back and made it official because it’s what MAJORLY helped give Yoda an advantage, but the fact that it was a glitch since the launch of the game makes me wonder… if that glitch never existed… would Yoda even be used at all??
I would say without his dash doing damage through block, he’d be the last pick for anyone since he’d be so weak.
Am I the only one who made hero/reinforcement concepts for themselves. Imagining what the stats, abilities, star cards, emotes and appearances would be? I love doing that but it makes me sad that a lot of character didn’t make the cut.
Agreed. There’d be so much potential for new characters
I have a note on my iPad with so many of them. Some heroes like Ahsoka and Ventress (still pissed we would’ve gotten them after Scarif if the support hadn’t been cancelled), but also Pre Vizsla, Ezra Bridger and Pong Krell. I like trying to make their abilities gel wel together and I like allowing for my star cards to really change the playstyle of a hero, or make one specific ability pretty good. As for reinforcements, I added the ‘guard’ (Jedi temple guard, Magnaguard, Honour Guard, Royal Guard and Praetorian Guard) and ‘sniper’ (clone sniper, sniper droideka, shadow trooper, bothan spy) class. Even thought of some vehicles.
I agree with the majority of these choices, like very much so. However, I think you have overated Maul and Leia by 1 tier each. Maul simply has too little health, and does too little damage. His abilities are fine, but he lacks any way to deal damage quickly besides getting up behind someone and swinging multiple times. Something far easier said than done. His saber throw really does not do much damage, and leaves him completely vulnerable. His choke does very little damage, leaves you completely vulnerable, and typically does not allow for follow up attacks for you or your team. Finally, his spin attack is decent, but really does not do much damage. All around, he does very little damage and has low health. Not a good combo.
Leia is more interesting. She is indeed very strong, but the fact that Vader is an absolute counter to her, makes her not S tier. Both Han and Chewy have ways if at least holding their own against Vader for awhile, whereas Leia, without any 3rd dodge, ability to damage through blocks (without perfectly thrown grenades) and no knockdown, makes her an easy kill any time Vader is near. Even worse, a way leia counters the other saber heroes (by draining their stamina quickly with the e-11) doesn't work against Vader, as he simply has too much stamina. If Vader wasn't used all the time, then it wouldn't matter as much. But Vader is used every match, meaning the fact that he is a hard counter to Leia, makes Leia much worse.
In very confident that Leia is middle of A tier, and Maul is top of C tier.
I'd say bosssk is better than boba, especially for hvh
12:25 Han solo with his 3 dodges and expecially the shoulder charge glitch has one of the best mobilitys in the game

For new players: Darth maul is good for offense count dooku is good for defense Darth Vader is good for offense and defense Luke Skywalker is good for offense Anakin Skywalker is good for offense Yoda is good for offense Obi-Wan Kenobi is good for defense rey is good for offense kylo Ren is good for offense palpatine is good for offense grievous is good for offense
I can't believe how people never really touch on BB-9E's ability to ledge. On any maps with ledging potential, BB-9E is a serious threat. I've ledged literally hundreds of people as BB-9E.
Especially with his star card that pushes people even further, he becomes a menace
This list is definitely making me feel better that I don't main almost any top tiers besides grievous. But I'd honestly say that oit of all of the characters, the balls are rated rather lowly. The reason I say this is because when they're with other heroes (say in HVV or various other scenarios.) They absolutely counter basically everyone besides like, palpatine, vader, and anyone near a leia. They're little combo machines that let your other teammates shred the other heroes while they're stunned. Which is wht I'd at least move BB8 up to high B- low A and BB9-E to like, Mid B or so. As BB8's tether hook is bullshit when it comes to stunning capability.
I agree. It was hard to place the balls so low cause I think they’re both very strong and I enjoy playing with them. In terms of raw damage and performance by themselves I think they’re beaten by alot of other heroes
In my 3k hours on this game it really just depends on matchups and game mode. Like chewbacca is S-A tier in hvv but pretty bad in trooper modes

I gave each hero a long explanation but YT crashed and I didn’t copy what I had typed down… I feel bad now. I have a big lightsaber bias. I don’t like playing with blaster heroes much. And the balls are underrated. I think everyone can deduce character strengths and weaknesses by themselves (apart from Vader, he has no weaknesses).
All characters are good in their own right and in the right hands. Some heroes are really dependant on good cooperation. The lost is based on HvV, Hero Showdown and trooper modes.
I love it! I get having a bias, because lightsabers can be much more fun than a blaster hero. I like to pick whatever the team needs or what counters the enemies. I’m still learning the combat techniques with lightsabers which is why some of them are lower than others

@@sicksadworld765 I just really don’t like using him. I prefer sabers in general and I’m not the best at aiming. I honestly prefer the FO Jet Trooper over Boba.
@@jarmoliebrand2005 Vader's weaknesses are his low attacking stamina, slow speed, lack of an evasive ability and poor stamina regen. Ofc his other strengths more than make up for it but still

1. Spamakin > Luke imo. The cards All Of Them + Raw Strength = 270 damage combo without any basic attacks included. If you include basics and even Passionate Strike, the numbers well exceed 600. Luke has no such combos. Not to mention Luke has less health, less regen, and less stamina.
2. You are sleeping on Han Solo, my friend. He shreds enemies sooooo hard

It also depends on the maps tbh. Iden in maps like sep dreadnought is good same with Bespin and stuff. And chewy is just waaaay better than you give him credit for.
Yeah see, the problem with Bossk in my opinion is the Chosen One. One Pull and you are basically dead, because there is just no escape from that lightsaber that deals so much damage. But nice tier list, really enjoyed it!

I understand it is your opinion and i respect that. But If u rank the heros and villians and add the terms how hard they are to counter, then the list Will be very different.
How the fuck could you put Finn above Dooku. You can team wipe way easier with Dooku and had way more movemrnt

I disagree with the iden placement. All other placements were made based on how they preform in the HvV game mode. And she's freaking strong. U have her F tier buts she's A or S
