This song made me buy a piano. Now I can play one song.
playing will sooth you as well keep on playing. cheers
Hell yeah
Not gonna lie. That's funny!
great
God, I love this...RADIOHEAD anytime all the time...
That little scratch of the head after you’ve just sung a masterpiece...
Like he was just fallen out of bed froma long and vivid dream
I strongly believe that someone who enjoy this song, can't be a bad person
Interesting belief, belief, belieeef
I wonder what this guy would sound like with a band.
Like Coldplay.
Muse
May i ask if you´re joking? if not: the bands name is radiohead
Boy do i have the news for you...
Like Radiohead
This song is like No Surprises, How I Made My Millions, True Love Waits, and All I Need into one song and I love it so much
this is not music
this is magic
It’s MAGIC?!? BURN THE WITCH!!!
@@jacksonwaldon They told us to be afraid of witches but not those who burn them.
I found this at a very strange moment in my life. Too much, too powerful
ahh its remind me about secret soap club
btw japan movie "confession" use this song, such a great movie
Hope things worked out for you
The most underrated Radiohead song.
No, that would be Prove Yourself or Lurgee
... is Let Down :troll:
@@hiepphambui3941 Let down is not underrated. It is just a great song that fans like. It is like saying Reckoner is overrated. They are both great songs that no one underrates but they just aren't their biggest hits, that's all.
@@wafflezoomz6237 i was just joking man. "Let Down Underrated" is a meme cuz people who are very into OK Computer like I used to be would say that.
@@hiepphambui3941 ah sorry, I misunderstood
I'm fairly certain this is the sound of dreams falling apart.
Yes
your channel description is incredible
This calm me up when im having anxiety attacks. thanks
Porra nenhuma, larga mão de teatrinho. Sou seu vizinho, cansei de passar na sua casa e vc estar escutando Aline di Barro o dia todo.
I feel the same, this is beautiful
@@xalabadai kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Japanese movie "confessions" made me discover this beautiful song.
Listen to radiohead!
Same!
Amazing film
Same!!
Me at beginning of Radiohead song: It's alright I guess.
Me at end of Radiohead song: These guys are brilliant.
What he meant was:
“Me at beginning of Radiohead song: ‘Oh boy I better get ready for whatever this could be!’
Me at end of Radiohead song: *intense mental breakdown*”
me with absolutely all of their b-sides
The most handsome thom I've ever seen.
Supreme god music. Cant be competed with.
I can't believe people think Roger waters is the supreme god of music. I mean he good and all but he ain't no Thom Yorke.
@@flazo9152 exactly, you cannot compare him with yorke. Yorke is ingenious in his ideas
@@flazo9152 Roger is a genius but yeah he is nowhere near on the level of Thom
One of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. I seem to say that over and over when it’s Thom.
Such raw beauty in this version. It feels so intimate and personal like we shouldn't be here ❤️ goosebumps ❤️
One of the most beautiful songs of the last thirty years.
One of the most beautiful song i heard in my whole life.
I love how interpretable these lyrics are. I've been searching endlessly for a job for awhile now and this resonates me in a way no other thing has
One of their greatest songs
This record came out when I was horribly addicted to Vicodin. As in I had to take at least a double digit amount of pills daily to not have withdrawals & feel like I was dying, vomiting, etc. Idk if this song made it easier or harder to quit.
“I can’t face the evening straight, you can offer me escape, houses move & houses speak, if you take me then you’ll get relief…..”
Same here with oxys
just the opening few bars are like a glimpse into another dimension. Nothing stops me in my tracks as often and as profoundly as Thom Yorke and Radiohead.
Couldn’t agree more!!
Thom at the height of his powers.
My favorite Radiohead album. Especially the lesser known "Disc 2"
I’ll never forget when Nigel sent me this on MySpace
Pre release
after I had written a letter to waste saying life was crushing me and all I wanted to do was curl up under thins feet at the piano-
Thank Nigel
Truly helped
hey hey hey what s going on
Wtf? I don't remember sending you anything
I sob every time I hear this song. A go to for a good cry, 5/5 would click again. :D
This nigga incredible
Lmaooooo
I hope ur not white
On god
On god
If Thom never sang or wrote another song, this one is out of this world and I score it double ten out of ten if that's possible. It should be compulsory to listen to it.
I agree brochacho!
Luckily he's been able to have written many more out-of-this-world songs, such as Nude, Pyramid Song or How to Disappear Completely. Just saying...
What a song, what a performance, his voice so unique. Thank you Thom Yorke 💜🐱♏🏴
❤️
Appliances have gone berserk
I cannot keep up
Treading on people's toes
Snot-nosed little punk
And I can't face the evening straight
And you can't offer me escape
Houses move and houses speak
If you take me there you'll get relief
Believe, believe, believe, believe
And if I'm gonna talk
I just wanna talk
Please don't interrupt
Just sit back and listen
'Cause I can't face the evening straight
And you can't offer me escape
Houses move and houses speak
If you take me there you'll get relief
Believe, believe, believe, believe
It's too much
Too bright
Too powerful

Followed this band since my angsty teenage years and they never fail to completely arrest me. They just stop me in my tracks time and time again!
This song breaks me every goddamn time.
This song made me a Radiohead fan

It's too much. Too bright. Too powerful.
Music transcends through your soul and into the body ...thats why we feel euphoric 🧡💛
This song threw me into a literal crisis a few months ago
02:47 this is just beautiful
It doesn't get any better than this!
This was always one of my favorites from the second disc. Never seen this tho.
Thom's poetry is food for the soul, drug for all pain... it's love 🖤

Hi Rory, was listening to “when Grace grew tall” and remembered we met briefly one afternoon at Manorfields… glad I stumbled upon this song! It great!!
Darling wake up, From the Basement just put out another video with Thom Yorke in it ❤️
A reminder ladies and gentlemen that this is a B SIDE…
perfect song
I love u so much Thom💕💕💕
Thank you.😍
I wrote a poem inspired by this song
I cannot keep up
I cannot face the evening straight
Hoping for an escape
How long will I run away?
I might completely disappear
Till then I would walk
Head towards no-where
Cry that I am now-here
Wandering on shallow waters
Wondering if I can drown
Drown into daydreams
Daydreams of the blind.
I wonder what I would see
No rainbows there for sure.
Devoid of colour, Void in me
I don’t want that.
But you, You foolishly believe
These daydreams move.
You can hear the daydreams speak
If you take me there you will get relief.
Then I would be dead
And you can offer your last flowers.

Hermoso.
Hermosa cancion 🎶🎶🎶
Dlaczego dopiero teraz usłyszałam tę wersję. Magia ☺
Just wow.
This fed my soul. Thank you for that.
~Sunnie Daze
This song is exactly the one that get rid of technical component of Radiohead's works and only left over their mood or feeling.
Somehow it's even more depressing
Song is masterpiece by itself, but with connections with movie Confessions i's even more heart touching...
And i just sobbed
Great
Fkin CLASSIC simply
brings me to tears
Keeps getting better with age
Confessions brought me here
Stupenda!
Per i cuori spezzati 💔🫂

This. This is the actual most tragic Radiohead song.
Truly devastating.
Just say this song's a master piece from one of the best Radiohead album ever.
Oh, my Goddddddd
Most underrated song ever
amo esta canción, me hace sobre pensar tanto.
I played piano in a past life & now im convinced i need to learn in this one, too
