My main issue with all the 'encounters of the third kind' is the fact that aliens capable of quick and easy interstellar travel would SURELY have a better way of invigilation than seemingly random visits with some soucers or tic tacs. Such alien civilisation could possess technology indistinguishable from magic with our current understanding of physics and the Universe.
Finally the HUMANITY would unite in order to be racist towards the aliens alone... Wait a minute...

My theory is that once the first atom was split by humans any extraterrestrial life out there would decide to increase surveillance on us. Just to keep an eye out and see how fast our technology advances compared to there’s which would be ages ahead

@@alexaltair6076 but the point is that if they're technology and computing power (whether that be intelligence or built computers) is advanced enough that they can travel faster than light, "controls" gravity, move without sound booms, it would be hard to believe they would be any way similar too us and maybe think far beyond then simply observing other tiny orgisms that are basically invisible inside the vast space hay stack
It would be beyond arrogant for us to think they would also enjoy something we find somewhat amusing, why would humans travel across the ocean for thousands of years to observe a insect take flight?
@@alexaltair6076 I could maybe see that they would be watching for the sake of observing primitive life, but space is so unbelievably big that "easy" travel isn't physically possible, and if advanced life isn't necessarily bound to our universe's physics then it might be an idiotic idea just to watch bacteria when you could analyze how blackholes work and expand past dimensions

One in particular was very compelling, which was a report about a large cigar shaped craft on radar, which outran the MIG's sent to intercept it. The fighters were able to catch it on their cameras, and it went subsonic to over mach 7 in 3 seconds, had no wings, and didn't make sonic booms as it accelerated. A very creepy video, if you understand physics and avionics.

I love u tommy, but no, US Navy pilots are not stupid when you refer to them as "not very bright". They literally have to go through years of academic training and some of the hardest examinations in the world, they know what they're doing, and they definitely knew what they saw.
Tommy himself is not bright.
They aren't stupid but this one pilot is doing tons of interviews, I wouldn't wonder if some of them would take the benefits... and most of those videos are probably Dukes or planes looking weird because of the gimbal movement of the camera.

To add to the thing about other nations having stories, yeah they do. The UK has several over their airbases on the isles and I've had one of my friends from around Hokkaido tell me about some of what his great grandfather saw during the Pacific War. I don't necessarily believe them, but I don't *disbelieve* that we may have interstellar neighbors. I just don't see a reason for them to visit and not interact directly.
There's a couple reasons, one good one is to study us, it could be really rare to find a civilization like ours rn so they could be studying us and seeing how we grow overtime, it would honestly be a amazing experience to watch a species grow from steam to electricity

A lot of the US military “UFO” videos are things we can kind of identify but not exactly. Meaning a jet looks like a classic alien UFO in infrared, but it’s still unidentified because it’s a jet that is unknown or has capabilities that are unknown to the US military. But they are still just normal planes and aircraft.
Wow unidentified flying object research is going towards identifying forign flying objects, amazing. Almost as if that is the point of the research.

I'm not kidding you, there was some sort of large drone following me and flashing its lights onto me for like 10km while riding my bike on the way home from my friends place. It was during the middle of it's chase, that it flew up into the sky and seemingly disappeared before coming down from the sky and chasing me again shortly before I got home. It moved irradical and seemed to genuinely being interested in me. That was the scariest night of my life. I can't really explain it well but also, all of my friends believed me. They believed me but instead of thinking it would be something out of world, they thought it was just the government checking on people with drones during curfew since they announced doing so days earlier but never actually enacted it. But still, if the government possesses this kind of technology and doesn't tell us citizens, it's rather worrisome. I do however believe, that it was something out of this world
