I live in Australia, and we had it pretty easy here in terms of lockdown, at least in Queensland. When it was at its strictest we were allowed to have a visitor at our house, but only one at a time. My neighbour called the police on us because she saw me having a drink on my balcony with two other people. When the police arrived the found out that one of those people was my sister, who I live with. Can't believe she snitched because she thought I had 2 guests instead of 1 though. Was not like we were having a party.

Also you’re right about having no guns makes it harder to defend yourself, but it also makes it harder for criminals to *get guns* which is why USA there is a massive gang and gun violence problem whereas in most of Europe this is not the case...
I just feel nations need to make police force better and much more common, more funding, more police on steeets more jobs for people, more security, it’s a win-win for all. Still relying solely on them to defend yourself would be naive.
