My personal theory is that he did *something* to make the plane shake without actually jumping and instead jumped much later. Think about it, everything is based on knowing the aproximate drop-zone however it is theoretically possible that he just made the plane shake without jumping and then slid of the plane later to trick the crew. After that he could have come back to the area later and dig down the money to try and confuse the authorities
But that doesn't explain how money ended up on the beach. And how could one person shake the plane?
@@szymongolac7853 As I said, he could've gone back to the beach years later to throw off authorities. Also the whole investigation relies on the plane shaking while over a certain area which the crew believed was him jumping and if him jumping shaked the plane then there might be other ways to shake the plane that doesn't involve jumping
the shaking could be caused by turbulance that's unrelated to the stairs
@@icantcomeupwithagoodusername You are right, the crew never checked when he jump wich means that he could have jumped anywhere from the last contact to the landing in Reno. As you say the hole investigation is based on the assumption that he jumped exactly when plane shook. Thats very sus
@@perlasandoval7883 that's true, but they did try to recreate the feeling and apparently it worked, so it seems like him jumping is the most likely cause of the vibration they felt. Especially, if you look at the simulation of the stairs, the wind is already making them really Shakey, him jumping could probably cause them to vibrate enough for they to feel it

I swear tommy is the kind of guy that would follow those videos on how to attack a guy mugging you and risk dying instead of just doing the sensible thing and handing them the money, statistically if someone wants money/valuables they don't want to get in a fight unless it's a big bank heist or something
Usually bank robbers don't want to get in a fight either, usually they would rather get the money and then get out of there without having to resort to more extreme measures than just threats and intimidation. Sure, it usually doesn't play out that easily but I don't think most bank robbers are too thrilled about the thought of killing someone if they don't have to

I dont think he would have jumped immediately after opening the back, i feel like he threw some or most of the money out as the flight continues then bailed out.

@@itsbandit8323 Nah the FBI never confirmed Gary Poste was the Zodiac so it's still ongoing, the people that claimed they had solved the case had no evidence and they even claimed they had solved the Db cooper case in the past. They are just grifters making stuff up and somehow everybody ate it up.

Then how did three bundles of cash end up at the exact same place? That would be easier to believe if the cash was found scattered along the Tina Bar beach but the three stacks of cash were found together. That just seems so unlikely to me

I think the Canadian hijacker theory makes a lot of sense, especially considering the grudge and possible military background. Think about it, a Canadian would be significantly more angry towards America for dragging them into a foreign war in which they have no feud
For example, the Korean war, which Canada was pulled into as a UN member state. maybe the guy had some rough encounters with air force troops and thought they'd be working in the air transport industry post-war, or something else. (Though I had written this comment under the wrong assumption that Canada was pulled into Vietnam so I'm probably wrong)
What war are you talking about though? Canadians were able to volunteer to fight for American forces in Vietnam however Canada did not participate in Vietnam war. Same with the Korean War so I don’t know where that grudge could come from. Unless your referencing the one in the 1800’s which makes no sense either

That theory would make sense if it took place in 2010, but it took place in the 1970's. Canada hadn't been dragged into any of the US's foreign conflicts yet
