My daughter has the snow man more then half done but has misplaced the chart when she moved in 2011. She has never found it back. It is a beautiful stitch. She hasn’t stitched since. She is going to start something new because she will be off work for 6 weeks.

A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. My needles are also poised to begin some patterns that have languished in my stash. I finished kitting them, decided on a fabric for them so I’m ready. I don’t have many big samplers, but 5 medium sized and loads of smalls, strawberries, and fobs. No shortage of items, I do wish for more hours in the day! Be well.🪡🪡

What exciting starts you have planned! I am excited to see your progress on the Sunflower Snowman and the Owl kits - I have both of them in my stash to get started one day. Happy belated birthday! I completely understand the huge stash and forgetting what you have! I use the XStitch app to help even though I have a loooonnnggg way to go to getting all my stuff in there! I only really use the journal area and use it a bit different. I use the wish list section for patterns I have in my stash that are high on my "must stitch someday list" but are not kitted yet. I also use this section to snap pictures of the projects in my magazines that are waiting to be stitched too and I can add in the notes what issue it is in. I am awful about forgetting what is in my magazines so this is really helpful to see the projects easily. Then there is a section for kitted projects - this is where I put the kits I have and any patterns I have kitted up ready to go. Then the starts and finishes section I use as intended. Whenever I start something I add the year in front of the title so that way in my started section it sorts my starts by the year started, oldest to newest so it is easy for me to see my oldest projects lingering around. When I finish something I edit the title to put the year finished so then in my finishes section I can easily see all the finishes I had each year. Once your project is in there it is super easy to move them from category to category by just editing the status. Hi Laura! I use Xstitch plus app as well and do some of the things you do like, putting the year at the beginning of the name of Chart and changing it if I finish it in a different year. Great minds think alike!! I do love your idea of using you wish list to track your magazine patterns and I will be doing that as I love the idea. Thanks! I have started using another app called Keep Notes to keep track of my PDF patterns with pictures and notes. One of these days I will get organized! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you so much for watching and commenting your wonderful ideas. You are a gem! Jacque
