I really enjoyed your flosstube with all of your beautiful new starts and wips. It’s interesting how you mentioned that you like to hoard the tissue or wrapping paper, as I like to hoard packaging items as bubble packaging, mailer bags etc and reuse them 😁 I’m glad that you are feeling better. Take care and see you next time xx
Agree with you on the LK Santa’s. I stitched one & it was pillow sized & not ornament sized. I purchased 25 ct. Lugana to stitch over one for these Santas. I am stitching 2/2 on 36 ct for PS Santas. Your projects are a lot more advanced than I can attempt! TFS.
Great minds think alike! My Prairie Schooler Santa's are on 36ct 2 over 2. I don't thinky projects are advanced. Chatalaine is advanced. 🤪 Thanks for watching!
Hello fellow 1964 birth year buddy. Does not seem like I should be this old...😂 I am doing an SAL for this year. I talk about it on my flosstube. Wow that owls is awesome and the project bag....so cool. I like to begin with a face so that my projects can watch me stitch them.
Hello my friend! Thank you for the well wishes. I am doing better! I love sharing this hobby with you and other stitchers. It makes me happy and if I had the time to do it more maybe I would get better at it!! 🤣🤣🤣
I have a suggestion for you re: figuring out color placement - make a working copy and color it in with colored pencils where you think you want the colors. I also suggest adding in black or a black-brown
Hi Jan, so glad you stopped by to visit! I look forward to seeing your Owl progress. I need to pull mine back out and give it some love. Happy stitching! 🧵🪡🪡
Well, since you didn’t ask, I’m throwing my 2 cents in anyway about your MFE UFO. Since you have the 115- you have all those colors in it already, so I’d scrap the other 3. Add black and your tan. I don’t even know if that’s enough colors, but my other thought was to search on IG and find something someone else did that you like, and copy them😂- maybe not even the exact colors, but it could help with which motifs should be the same color. I turn 60 in May, and 6 starts in one day sounds celebratory! And I wonder how many days of 6 starts it would take to start everything I want to😂😂 I can’t believe your Cricket Spring has that many colors whoa! I have Beach, and should start that, but I think I want to change the letter colors. Which probably means also changing motif colors so they’ll show up against the letters🙃, and then I don’t start because that sounds like a lot of work 😂 Oh I definitely need to do the PS Santas over one, because I don’t like my ornaments that big, so have only stitched 2.
Hi Shelley, thanks for the advise on the MFE design. I did go thru Instagram and really do love the reds so am sticking to that. Not sure if I will add in the tab or not at this point. I know what youean about the Spring chart as I was surprised howamy colors it takes, but I do love stitching on it. I definitely cannot start all the patterns I love in this lifetime! 🤣🤣🤣 I am planning to start a Lizzie Kate one over one and a PS one and see how it goes. 🪡🧵♥️
Thanks for making Tuesday morning at work way more bearable. :-) I have the same problem with surfaces in my craft room (really my entire house) I swear my family members see a flat surface and think "oh, I should put something there .... " NO ... gah, could we just have things put away and not cluttering up stuff. So then, but the time I dig out the area, my energy is gone and I end up not crafting, LOL That project bag couldn't be more perfect for that owl piece! I looked up that kit ... $47.99, seems a bit pricey, especially since you don't get the pattern with that, you have to still buy the magazines. Happy Stitching!!
The Owl kit is a complete kit with pattern. I am not sure where you saw it without the pattern included. Mine is a Russian kit and have heard that there is another that has the kit as well. I just started to reorganize my craft room and hoping to get rid of a bunch of stuff laying around taking up my stitching space! 😂😂😂
@@CrossMyStitchesoh…. I was referring to the kit for The Hummingbird Garden piece from the magazine. You mentioned that you could purchase a kit. When I looked it up, it was $47.99 but the kit doesn’t include the patterns, you have to still buy the magazines.

I do that too!! I have a corner of my room filled with boxes, mailers, bubble wrap and more! 😂😂😂
Hi Jacque! Congrats on your pretty finish! Beautiful starts! Glad you are feeling better! I agree....January went by fast for me. Happy Stitching!
It looks like February is going at the same pace!! 😂
@@CrossMyStitches I agree!🙃
Enjoyed your video while stitching. That snowman is going to be a big boy! 😮
Oh yes! If I ever get him done. 🤪

Actually my birthday is 1963, Dec 31st. I will have to check out your channel to see what your BD SAL will be. Thanks for watching!
So sorry you were sick again with Covid, glad you are feeling better and you look fabulous. Enjoyed all of your stitching, acquisitions, gifts, etc.

Thank you for your suggestions! I will print it out and give it a try. 😁
I love your Owl. I am working on that project as well. I love the project bag you have for it.

I just love your owl. May I ask where you purchased the kit?
I wish I could tell you, But I don't remember. It may have been Amazon. I know that Luca-S now has this in a kit as well. Hope that helps. Jacque

Oh, yeah, there is a catch to everything.
