Jane, On the QSnap problem I found the felt strips on each side works well and protects the fabric and your stitches when you move the fabric. Also the felt helps to remove the the snappy part...I just pull up on the felt. I'm just so happy to have my most favorite ladies back and hopefully feeling better. My thoughts are with you. A sewing tomato pincushion has an emery-filled strawberry hanging off of it to sharpen pins and needles. But I wouldn't put one on a drum.

Julie I am glad you survived your illness and survived nursing your husband too 😜 Jane I can relate to your asking what would happen to this room if God forbid something happened to you…I always ask that as I have an amazing sewing room full of all sorts of everything and have two unmarried boys/men…. But my husband always says, just like what Julie said YOLO. Enjoy whatever you want to enjoy every day and if you don’t like something don’t do it…but promise you two won’t leave CZcams because you are such a special part of my day when I watch you two. Love, kisses and well wishes to you both ❤❤❤ and of course we know who is who because we are super fans!

Pandemic is such a fun stitch. I finished mine and loved every minute of it. I did mine in 3777 a red. I had a hard time putting it down and was sad when it was done.
Use sulky 12wt one strand on pandemic. That’s what I did with a variegated brown. I did the flowers in a reddish color and birds in black. I love it. The large spools go a long way and easy to work with. Y’all have a Merry Christmas!

So glad to see you back and feeling better. Great to be stitching and watching you two. I have been stitching from stash all year and will be doing the same next year. I have so much stash and so many WIPS I really don’t need to purchase anything ever except for floss. This year I went through my stash and kitted up about 70 or 80 different project. It is amazing what I found in my stash that I forgot was there. That should keep me going for some time. Take care you two, looking forward to your future videos.

Happy to see you ladies back in action and are well. Love your FlossTube. I stitched Ye Old Crow this fall. I didn’t notice the sideways letters until you mentioned it. I changed the pumpkin to an orange with green vines. My initials didn’t fit either. I finished it on a black wooden paddle board. Have a wonderful holiday!

Hi, I didn't make it thru all the comments, so I don't know if somebody brought this up. My original tomato pin cushion from my grandma had a lil strawberry hanging from the top. It was filled with emery so you could de-burr your sewing needles. Happy Holidays ladies, and I hope your health continues to improve.

Great to see you two! I always enjoy watching you two. Love your end-of-videos, Jane. A thought regarding thread and 32 ct...12 wt. thread like Sulky. 12 wt. is supposed to be similar to the thickness of 1.5 strands of cotton weight threads like DMC.

My q snaps are 1-2 years old and I’ve almost given up using them because I have found they do that too. I don’t like the damage it’s probably causing.

Fabulous video - I had to pause and send this - that exact same thing happened to me with Qsnap - I cut just a 2 1/2 strip wide of cotton fabric and put under clamps on all sides - worked perfect

Q snaps are hard for me to unclamp. I have been using strips of muslin between the clamp and fabric which allows me to grasp the muslin and pull the pieces apart. It also protects my fabric from the tight clamp. I wasn’t able to use felt as it was too hard to get the clamps on. Glad you are both improving! We are on day 17;of Covid and are weak as kittens. So good to see you both!!
