I'm sure somebody already commented on this, but "j" in Russian transcription using Latin sounds the same as "y" in a position after the vowels. So, it's not "dremuchedge", it's "dreh-'moo-cheey".
It DOES feel good!
Did they forget to add PSVR2 or SteamVR, or hopefully a more "portable" version for Switch 2, at least for VR inclusion they are remaking anyways and Playstation could use another known good game to play to keep fans hyped. It does say XBOX and Steam, so I guess Playstation didn't want this as another exclusive for some reason. Additionally I hope it just arrives late enough to even be on the newer console revisions like PS4 Pro or whatever XBOX's thing was.
What does the "A" in the remaster stand for in the game? If it is an actual letter. Other than that, I loved the trailer.
At one point I thought it was gonna be a reboot of "afrika".
Feels like a full circle seeing you talking about MGS after so many years subscribed. What a time to be alive.
Dude, I NEVER thought I’d see the day he’s saying it’ll be here.
💯! What a thrill
Yeah last time it happened was back in the age of MGSV leaks, long time ago
Pretty much, yeah. I subscribe to better follow the news of the (still to be released back then) MGS5 The Phantom Pain 👍
Almost a decade ago 😅😅😅
It feels surreal to listen to you hypothesize and analyze a new MGS installment. I remember way back in the day listening to your Phantom Pain videos, before it was even confirmed to be MGS V. What a trip to be full circle
I fr watched every single one of his MGS V coverage video. Mostly after it was revealed i wanna say. Then even metal gear walkthroughs on YongPlays
Lol. Amazing times..
P.s. Every earlier viewers may know his old intro:
"What's up everybody! it's Yong here and welcome, to another MGS news update."
Waiting for more gameplay to come out so I can see Yong analyze a 10 min gameplay video into an hour long video breakdown, the nostalgia is real.
Yess
same, cant wait lmfao
Just check metal gear solid 3 snake eater it’s a remake
Sames!
@@danielesquivel1164 remake, not a remaster. its going to be different
The last time I watched this guy was in 2014-2015 analyzing every detail of Phantom Pain trailers and news. For some reason, the first thing I thought of after hearing about the remake was Yongyea. I guess we're back into it. Keep it up YongYea!
My thoughts exactly. His analysis back there were on point
The last time I watched this guy was 2015 as well.
Feeling like 2015 Yong with the hype for MGSV, please keep doing these for more Metal Gear Solid Delta trailers when they drop!!!
Indeed HAHAHAHAHA
The good old days
Oh how I miss this side of Yong. This is the type of content that got me into this community.
Same, I found him during MGSV build up. I had promised myself not to watch anything or learn anything about MGSV, but Yong had such good videos that I couldn't help but watch and learn
@@xpurplethighs7596 Same
@@xpurplethighs7596 Same. MGSV was so hype. Also I think we all felt that phantom pain after finishing the game, so we sought out post-game discussions like in this community
I was subbed on your channel for almost 10 years, followed you throughout mgs5 analysis before it came out, remembering the 30 day countdown and everything, so this was so nostalgic to see
Right? I found yong when Mgsv still had so much prerelease hype and to see him cover more mgs content 🥹
Yuuup, good times man
Remember the phantom pain analysis that Yong did which revealed that the game was actually MSGV? Boy it was way back in 2013
Haha yes, it was such a long time ago now. Also, he did suspect from the start about a big twist in a game haha. Glad there are more people from that era, we are OGs I guess :D And cheers to YongYea, and his successful transition from covering one game to full on game journalist!
Sends me straight back to 2013-2015 when I would watch Yong cover every bit of info for MGS:V! Incredibly excited to see you cover this one!
What a throwback to see Yong covering MGS with such detail. Its kind of refreshing to see Yong cover something that hes really passionate about. Hope to see more MGS news Yong!!
watching you go through these screenshots, half of it is giving context from the game like a grandpa telling old war stories lmao, I love it.
That’s exactly what it’s like to us
here's a war story of my own, I remember when mgsv on ps3 reached the "nuclear disarmament" status, where all nukes had been removed from the world. There was a big group of individuals focused on removing nukes. Hung Horse, saladin snake, thebreizhgamer, so many dedicated to the message of peace that konami would have destroyed. There were nukes known as phantom nukes. A bug that caused nukes to be created when they were disarmed, artificially inflating the nuke numbers. When this was brought to light, one man brought it upon himself to remove those phantom nukes, and what happened was the disarmament cutscene. I was there to view it on june 2020, and I had an epiphany. I had made 2 nukes, in order to protect myself from people invading my base, and to make my platform safer, but that mentality created a world rife with uncertainty and bloodshed. Only in disarmament can we live in peace. actions taken to protect oneself ended up harming so many more. Thank you to all of those who disarmed nukes, and all who share the metal gear spirit. All soldiers and enemies are people too.
I wasnt there to see the inception of this channel through MGSV coverage. But its nice to see someone return to their personal passion and relive some nostalgia. Enjoy every moment of this ride Yong! And I’m sure everyone else will be enjoying it with you.
Oh you miss out, the coverage for mgsv news was lit and it makes you excited about new updates about story details, gameplay footage, etc. Yong intros back then were phenomenal
I’m even further back, I’m from when his channel was focused around Skyrim in 2011-2012ish
@@adrianb714 I did follow allot of MGSV stuff online though. Just not from Yong I think. Atleast I definetly don't remember. But I remember how fun Kojima's mindgames were back then starting with Revengeance and Peace Walker. Finally then with MGSV. Kind of a shame all these games kind of dissapointed me on different levels but the leadup reveals were so much fun 😂
I guess fourth time's the charm and this one will be both fun to follow and to play haha. And I'm hyped to see Yong gush over this game. I don't really like his rage bait stuff even though I stay subbed as to keep informed.
You didn't miss anything, MGV ended up the biggest disappointment in that last decade. All you missed was speculative hype that went absolutely no where.
@@TamaHawkLive I figured hahahaha
So nostalgic seeing Yong cover MGS again. Makes me feel like a teenager again watching him break down everything about phantom pain
Started watching you for the phantom pain hype years ago. Fingers crossed this pans out perfect!
Same here!!!
For me it was ground zeros
Man, seeing Yong talking about MGS while being so excited takes me back to the MGS V countdown retrospective lol, who remembers that?
To think it's been the better part of ten years since we've had a Yong MGS analysis video, damn time flies, good to be back
I got chills when the music hit. Young Me; in front of a PS2. I cut my stealth teeth in these games. I'm the man I am, because I took the methods in with my friends. Our love for the series took root in each crouch of every airsofting match, every game hence.
I love MGS3. Kojima permanently improved the world with his love of his craft. Something I'll never be without.
Same here I remember 14 year old me in 2004 booting up MGS3 for the first time and being mesmerized by how a game like this was even possible on PS2 even after playing 1 and 2 not too long before I completed MGS3 10 times and got almost all achievements. And playing Airsoft with friends we would do MGS scenarios ah those were the days !
Finally the old Yongyea mgs videos are back, feels nostalgic
Yong it was nice to see you in a happier than normal place with this clip. Like many here your passion for MGS is where we first found your channel. I had a smile on my face watching this remembering all those MGS breakdowns many years ago. To this day thanks for all you do!
Having found your channel during the build-up of MGSV back in 2014/15, it feels so good to have MGS hype back in our lives. MGS is the foundation of my love for gaming, so it felt like something had been missing for the past 9 years... I'm looking forward to every drip of info so you can analyze it. Here's to hoping we get a new trailer at each game event like the good ole days! MGS4 and MGSV trailers were reasons to be hyped every E3, gamescon, and TGS.
Keep the MGS content coming Yong, i'm all for it (i'd actually love to see a review of the classic MGS 3 from you with the remake being announced)

@@James-gj8rn I think he actually made a review back on his YongPlays channel, way back when
Edit: Then again, maybe not. I know he reviewed some of the MGS games on there
Metal gear solid was my very first stealth video game, and how I approached all games afterwards. MGS3 was something else with the treatment of your wounds and camouflage. I can't wait to see how they remaster the stealth genre for the new generation, and hope that both, David and Sam, will usher in a new era that has been lost. Here's to both of you!
i wanna play in mud with snake while eating some shrooms and frogs with my knife
Happy to see your doing metal analysis again Yong, another great video, hey you should do the intros with parts of trailer that includes the music from the trailers like you did with the old MGSV trailers
I love this so much. I originally found you because of the old metal gear videos. I would get so excited to see a trailer analysis from you and now it’s happening again and I love it. What a thrill yong. What a thrill
Your MGS Analysis is the reason, I subbed to your channel many years ago. I’m very excited for the MGS 3 analysis!
The Phantom Pain videos are what got me listening to your channel. Love the analysis, we've now come full circle. I'm so happy MGS is back in our lives.
Technically not full circle until he analyses ground zeroes remake
I also like the way the trailer shows the Food Chain in action. Ants eating away at the frog, the frog getting taken by a bird, bird getting attacked by a snake, only for the snake to end up being attacked by the alligator.
And of course at the end we see Naked Snake, who as a human being is on top of the food chain.
So great to see another MGS update after so many years - Good to have you back for updates, Yong!
Watching you talk about Metal Gear Solid is giving me nostalgia of the first time I found your channel. I can't wait to hear more coverage on Snake Eater.
What if this secret development team was Kojima Productions? That would break the internet. "Heh. **tears page out of book and slams it shut** Like that's ever gonna happen!"
Boy would I love for you to be right, but yea I'd be shocked. Partly just because I see Konami not letting Kokima Productions work on it even if they wanted to (I think Hideo was pretty burnt out on MGS for a while) just to be petty.
kojima tried to quit making mgs games way before he left konami, i doubt he would like to come back, but it would be really nice if he did.
Listen buddy...
That would break the internet but also that would never happen.
I miss these MGS analysis videos. This is what I remember from Yong Yea. Keep em coming as more news unfolds.
It’s good to be back here with you Yong can’t wait to put 100+ hours into the Virtuous Mission demo before the full game comes out
This is the reason why started to follow Yong. These video analysis were so good when MGSV was coming.
Here's to a new arc of theories, analysis and such.
Seeing you this excited about MGS again is so nostalgic man, keep up the great work!
YongYea I watched every single one of your videos back in the MGS5 speculation days and just want to say it's so much fun to be back with you!
I haven't watched your channel since right after MGS5 dropped. And I remember all the trailer breakdown videos and theories. You were the only person as passionate about MGS as I was. Nice to see you again.
It’s a good ol’ fashion Yong MGS analysis.
By golly it’s been a while.
Man getting updates from yongyea for a mgs game is like waiting on a hot apple pie at your moms house....all is good in the world 🙏🏻
Oh man, I'm hopeful! Things are looking so far!
Looking forward to your coverage :D
It's nice to see a video like that again, last time was so long ago. Thanks Yong !
You kept us waiting for your analyzes...it feels good again!
I definitely remember the old days Yong, and one of the reasons I subscribed was your MGS content. It definitely was the best and can't wait for more MGS coverage.
I think The Sorrow may be referenced by how Snake is revealed, it's looks like the waterway area where he is faced, and I think the log where the parrot gets attacked by the snake is where Sorrow's corpse is at the end of that battle? My memory is vague a bit on that though, but that log could also be where Eva gets impaled after wrecking her bike near the end of the game.
Once it pans out as the parrot escapes you can see off in the distance the Shagolhod being carried by 3 choppers.
miss the analysis videos. following every step of the way !! lets goooo yongyea
Been rockin with yong since his codec days lol. Hopefully going with the “Delta” name instead of “3” means that Konami has plans to go all the way through the series. Can’t wait to see if they do an MSX MGS remake… but would love MGS2 to be remade as well. Ugh hopes are high
MG1 and MG2 remake would be insane though
Finally players will be able to experience what happened after Phantom Pain and before MGS1
I really doubt they'll ever make MSX remakes. I would like it, but they'd basically have to design entire games. It would hardly be a remake at all, but more like a reboot of the franchise.
@@axel9473 'Reimagining' is the term you're looking for. And yes, it wouldn't be easy. The early MSX games were a lot simpler in every way, even character names were more basic and silly. It would be a good task for the dev team to do after they do all the remakes, but before they try to create a brand new MGS (if that ever happens). I always hoped Kojima would do that after MGSV but alas things did not pan out
@@Lord_of_Dread That's the thing, Kojima productions is not on board for obvious reasons. I kinda doubt that someone else could handle the story, characters and presentation to really make it feel like an MGS (although to be fair, Kojima wasn't able to do that himself in MGS5, but since that game wasn't even complete i wont judge).
Especially for the first MG someone would have to write practically everything, since the game doesn't have much dialogue or much of a story at all.
Maybe they can hire some of the other original writers, as Kojima wasn't the only one of course.
Yong and MGS analysis...is there a better combo? Takes me back to when i first found your channel looking for MGS5 info. Keep up the amazing work!
I have definitely missed this! It's good to see MGS being talked about again on this channel!
As someone who watched literally every Yong MGS video leading up to the release of MGSV it feels so good to relive those days with the MGS3 Remake reveal. I can't wait for more of this in the future!
MGS3 came out… FOR PS2…. ALMOST 20 years ago?? Holy shit I feel old.

Oh yes!! Let's take another journey towards another MGS Yong analysis. It's been so long I missed these vídeos
As soon as I saw the reveal trailer I could not wait till you dropped a video on this. Been following you since MGSV

I love seeing Yong covers mgs again. Just like the good old days.
So glad to see more MGS content on the channel, it’s been too long!
Coming to a Yong video for a MGS analyse/news update feels VERY nostalgic.
There was a time when YongYea did not rage farm, and this video is a throw back to those good times
More positive times in general 😢
Damn! You put this out FAST
I’ve missed your mgs videos bro I’ve been watching you for years but haven’t kept up with your other content so seeing this mgs video is like meeting an old friend for the first time in years
Wow now this feels fucking nostalgic. Thanks Yong, It feels like just yesterday I was waiting for another one of your metal gear breakdowns
I think the most interesting thing about the Snake Eater reveal is how it’s not telling us who is developing the game. Ideally, this is a new team directly working at Konami and name dropping the team could reveal it to be a group based around making MGS products. There’s also a chance that this could be an unknown development team that has worked with the company before for prior console games or mobile games. The fan boy inside me wants to say Kojima Productions is somehow involved even though they’re definitely not.
🤫
Yeah, that was my first thought when i heard that the team is unknown. Kojima and his team are back at Konami with MGS!!!
No, of course i doubt that too. But that would definitly get me hyped. Death Stranding wasn't really my cup of tea, so seeing MGS content from Kojima himself would be a godsend for me.
I felt the same 😩
Rumoured to be Bluepoint
@@scabo33 It's not BluePoint.
Im praying for DH to come back, they can replace the other voice actors but DH is too iconic not to miss
I do feel the same way, but if they do replace him, I hope it's someone more unknown. Kiefer Sutherland did a fantastic job, but I always heard Kiefer Sutherland. Not Big Boss. I want it to be a voice that I can immediately associate with this character. David Hayter would be the obvious choice, but if not, I want someone who brings something unique to the character.
I've seen lots of people mention that all the voice actors are returning.
I hope its true.
Yes, original voice actors have been confirmed
@@Chadillac-xq7xk i don’t think the 30 seconds of dialogue in MGSV are enough of a sample to judge Kiefer Sutherland’s performance.
I've missed the YongYea Metal Gear videos so much, great to have you back.
Yong, you have no idea how long I've waited to be able to watch an MGS analysis video from you. Your MGSV videos are how I found your channel
While it looks great, I hope they get the colors more like the original. I really like the intense color filter in the original.

@@alexsilva28 actually, that reminds me... is the black face paint going to be kept?
@mateantal6497 probably. I've never heard anyone complain about that, it's not blackface lmao it's literally camo. Black facepaint doesn't piss anyone off, it pisses people off when it's done in a racial context

@@DaniArkadia half of it is i’ve never had a ps3 or a pc good enough to emulate mgs3. this and the master collection are gonna help for sure
Play the old games first, never bet on a new game to be good, especially a remake. It might change things too much from the OG, play that one first.
Well, you're lucky. They'll also release a remaster called "Master Collection Vol 1" which will include the first three games (including the very first two Metal Gear game for the MSX; Not to be confused with MGS1 and 2) and soon they'll make a Vol2 which will include the rest

PS2.
PS2
For PS they could probably map it to the triggers but xbox and M&K would be out of luck I guess. Idk it's a really interesting question.

Yong I’ve been watching you since the mgs5 rumor and update days and man its amazing feeling watching you do these mgs updates once again.
Back on the MGS news with Yong! Love it!
I wonder if its an upgraded Fox engine or a new one
If Hideo is not on this then I can't expect good faith (unless this is intentional that he is on board and just keeping his name as a surprise), especially if you noticed Hideo's name is not on this and the collection coming out as it has always been a trademark with his name on the title, it is Kojima's literal IP, still feels like Konami is still giving a finger to him. Remember what Konami did by gutting the Phantom Pain and their Survive title.
Hideo may have brought it to life but it’s always been and always will be Konami’s IP. I expect they’ll give Kojima a mention but it definitely won’t have his name plastered all over it like in MGSV (every fucking mission lmao)
@@d00gz_ Thats fine. Truth of the matter is they dont know how to manage the IP. This remake is stalling for time just like Silent Hill 2. Konami has no new ideas because Kojima was gonna catry Silent Hills and Metal Gear.
Now that Kojima was cut, we suddenly are only getting unoriginal remakes 🤔
It wont survive without Kojima.
I agree but mgs v is a finished game, Kojima has gone on record saying so.
The reality is kojima is too up his own behind now and wants to do so much at once and what comes out is an unnecessarily convoluted mess. Sure he’s probably the best of all time at creating epic set pieces, but as a fan of the story, kojima was butchering it by making it more and more complicated and adding so many unnecessary layers to it. I mean look at death stranding one and two, both very unnecessarily convoluted games trying to be as deep as possible that just end up making no sense with too many things going on at once and when called out on it he mocks his fans and says they don’t under stand “strand type games” lmao. You can tell he fancies himself as some sort of m knight shaymalan on steroids now. He basically ruined the story of mgs with the phantom pain by adding in all sorts of nonsense and retconning everything just to have a deep “meta” message when it should have been a simple clearly defined story showing how big boss became the mythical figure he was and could have used so many classic characters like frank yaeger and sniper wolf. Kojima marketed mgs5 as the game that would link the saga together but it didn’t do that at all, instead it left us with more questions and more threads that didn’t even need to be there in the first place. Because of all this, I’m glad and hope he’s not involved in this remake because he’d no doubt want to add even more unnecessary layers to an already good story and ruin it, and want to cram as many edgy themes into it as possible that would ruin mgs3 and make the story a schizophrenic mess. He just can’t help himself anymore and needs to stroke his ego and show people how “deep” he is. It’s clear he lost the passion for mgs and wants to make other types of games so it’s best that he does that instead of try and make mgs something it’s not.
this is such a weird argument that everyone have stick on. like why would even the original creator be involved in a remake to guarantee it's success?. Shinji Mikami wasn't involved in the development of RE2 Or RE4 remakes, and look how great those games.
What's even more mind blowing at 3:39 they have the Kerotan frog on the top right in the EXACT location! It's gonna be a 1 for 1 remake. I do hope they expand the space of some parts like RE4 remake did. But so far I love what I see
