All class, never out of position, very quick for 10 yards, great hands, almost perfect tackling form, very intelligent, never gloated over his opponent's misfortune.
Even though I've seen my share of Jack Ham videos, I love to see how he squares up with people and makes solid tackles. Not trying to go for the highlight reel kill shot. Just wrap 'em up, engulf 'em. When Ham tackled players, they stayed tackied. And those coverage skills were off the charts. Such a reliable guy. No weaknesses in his game.
Jack Ham was the benchmark for Outside Linebackers in the 70's Derrick Brooks was a carbon copy. L.T came on the scene like nothing ive ever seen before revolutionising the position of Outside Linebacker..

The best Jack Ham compilation I've seen. Thanks!
One of the few linebackers that could play the pass as well as the run.

Johnstown pride!
His eye for the ball was tremendous. Great hands too. Like a wide receiver in a linebackers body. Uncanny.
We are!
Smashmouth ffffoootball.
Jack ham in the 70s
Tuggle in the 90s
Brooks in the 2000s
Lavonte david in the
2010s
Whose the next great true olb gonna be
Did you really just put Jessie Tuggle and Lavonte David in the same category as Derrick Brooks and Jack Ham
@@Kevin-fj1iu just going by decades on the best true outside linebackers
Tuggle and David were not the best of their eras, and are even further from the likes of Jack Ham and Derick Brooks

Wow this music sucks ! Jack was the best !
Consistently good, which is all you an ask from a player.
Spectacular, one off plays, not his thing. A bit overrated truthfully.
Awesome
