Yes. You did just watch a 17 minute documentary of sign posts.
i just wasted 17 mins of my life
Yep. pretty boring stuff
I thought the whole thing was hillarious.
was legit.
it was pretty hilarious lol
they took punching lessons from one punch man
oh yes the best punz
+CindiXGaming :3 there are no puns...
Davenzoid oh... now i don't know what punz are anymore ;-;
+Davenzoid One Pun Man?
CindiXGaming :3 word play that are intended to humor the audience. what you are referring to are jokes, sir.
How is a small Korean girl just as strong as a Russian weightlifting champion
well technically, small d.va uses the butt of her pistol as melee and zarya her fist, so u cant say they are the same
But the butt of a pistol won't provide more force, not really it'll provide a tiny amount of mass but the real thing is the speed at which they'd need to strike.
It's also a different type of damage. The pistol is small but hard, while a fist is softer and bigger. As such, zarya's hit is spread over a bigger are, while the gun might just leave a bleeding wound on you if they hit you hard enough.
Still, how about YOU try to rip off a speed sign with a pistol. I'll be waiting here.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Joker cuz logic
maybe you have to be able to break a sign post with a punch to get into Overwatch
The8BitPhoenix mind blown
Or a kick or a blade
do those sign posts... am... look bended and distorted to you?
I'm just saying it's a weird detail, they aren't smooth metal
So if your character can punch with that amount of power ... *what* *the* *hell* is that outhouse door made of?
Nokia phones
Omg conspiracy born
THIS!
The remains of the Overwatch Cheaters
i think he purposefully ignored that xD
You think Overwatch has overpowered melee? There's a little game called Call of Duty in which a knife to the toe will kill a cybernetically enhanced super soldier.
LOL
Nobody noticed how the door to the bathroom ( 4:47 ) happens to be the strongest wooden (or happens to look wooden) door in existence? Overwatch chraracters may be able to punch through solid iron, but wood, that's their weakness.
TheSkyWolfWarrior hello any car game
Light posts easy to break
Tiny tree crashes a huge truck
TheSkyWolfWarrior rise of the tree people
They're all allergic to wood
Their fists are sonic screwdrivers.
@@who_m7315 Most driving games don't have lamp posts and the like actually break, they usually just detach from the ground, which is what they're supposed to do in the real world. Trees, on the other hand, are meant to withstand the forces of nature for sometimes well over 100 years, and have no built in safety features. In the real world, if you were to hit a lamp post with your car doing 100 kph, your car would be fucked, but as long as you didn't hit anything else behind the lamp post, you would live. If you hit a tree at the same speed, you would likely die
We already know Melee is broken. I mean, have you seen Marth's grab range compared to everyone else's?
good one.
Suppercut2 lol what about my boy foxs shine 😂
Suppercut2 I call for a science episode centered around Marth's grab.
I REQUIRE IT LIKE PYLONS
you think that's broken? theres a move in the game that its hitbox comes out frame 1, is also invincible frame 1, and be jumped out, can be used to cancel a jump, can combo into itself, kill move or grab, and it can kill enemies if hit by it off stage. also it has set knock back
Brandon G
Shine?
I want to know about Reinhardt and his suit
How much does it weigh and why does it need rockets to propel the suit and the hammer
How much force is applied when you get hit with his hammer and when he pins you against the wall
Ur smart not me, you will find out how to make it interesting
i can imagine getting pinned by him would be like getting hit by a relatively small truck.
+Demitrium Hey, you make vids right?
Big McDick yes, but if you're referring to my deviantart videos, no. I don't make those anymore.
+Demitrium yeah stumbled my way into those and they were funny as shit imo. Then saw the no more vid and completely understood your pov. Not fun to do anything if it feels like a chore and not something you look forward to doing
To the people complaining about the people complaining about him getting to the point...
The people watching this are Overwatch players. If there's anything they value more than diamonds, it's getting to the fucking point.
that's strange, whenever I play, no one is ever on the point.
+Ethan “Amp It Up” Shelsta Shots fired
+Ethan “Amp It Up” Shelsta savage
No. They were looking for "NEW SUPER BROKEN MELEE OVERWATCH MECHANICS!!!1!! DIAMOND FROM BRONZE GUARANTEEED IN TWO MINUTES!!!!!!".
Is it weird that I've never played Overwatch, yet I watched the whole thing?
Can we take some time to appreciate this man's work? This dude just made a 17 minute video with a VERY thorough explanation of how strong a melee punch from a game is. I bet this guy can write a 20 page essay with very little work. Good job ShoddyCast!
ArcshadowRPG Yeah, I agree.
@@ihatetobethatguybut7175 better late than never, let's comment to 4-6 year old replyless comments shall we?

+Zakk Doom shit can't eat mashed taters and shit talk at the same time
it's kinda funny how hanzo can Meele and put a dent in a steel wall but takes like 4 hits to kill a dva out of the mech
It actually takes 5
Also a punch in Overwatch does the same about of damage as genji's dagger and the stock of soldier's gun
Let's also not forget that Doomfist punched his way through concrete to break out of jail with his bare hands
What if they have different strengths?
we can clearly see in the video that he can't break through a wooden toilet door
what's up with that?
I was not expecting this out of my recommended videos
All this assumes that, 60 years in the future and after a robot uprising, street signs are made the same as they are today.
what kind of technologi do you think it takes to create sign post ? and what material? they are not going to make it from alloy of titanium and stuff its a damn sign post
Kalas Hydra I'm saying that maybe they started to make them cheaper or started to make them with a material that has less shatter resistance, perhaps under the logic that it would make them safer if someone crashed into them. I'm not saying that it's some advanced alloy. I'm saying that maybe the POLICY changed. It's the government. All they need is a single protest or news story to piss their pants and for someone to make whatever change the protestors want as their major policy platform.
CocoaNutCakery ok cool then i didnt think about it this way
Kalas Hydra
They have flying cars in overwatch, and make buildings from solid light.
They have no reason to make signposts on the ground.
Someone tell me why I watched a 17 minute video of someone talking about punching street signs
PizzaLikesCheese because you were bored and had nothing better to do
Because we’re all nitpicks that need assurance that their nipickyness is shared with other nitpicks THATS Y!
Because you like his sexy voice and his big brain
Mate, the video was talking about the physic of Overwatch characters' overpowered punch.
A car can make the street signs BEND, but Overwatch characters' punches make them COLLAPSE.
Just wanna say, ur stupid :)
Because its entertainment
The over watch characters could totally be Greek/Roman Gods or Goddesses because of how many there are! Like for example Hanzo Apollo and Torb Hephaestus!!!! Awesome
You know each country has their own pantheon of gods and goddesses
You just went full matpat.
That's right how he seemes to me, too. (it's by the way the first video of this guy I watched)
So analyzing things in games makes you Matpat? I don't get what you're saying.
Angelgamester It's his tone, exaggeration and condescending attitude.
Wolf Edmunds Hm, the exaggeration I can get, but it's probably to make it less boring. It would be pretty boring if he plainly read this all out. I don't see how either of their attitudesare condescending though
Austin sounded like mattpatt to me too at first but once you've watched a few videos they seem quite different. Tbh I prefer Austin at the min (probably because his vids are about games I like 99% of the time whereas matt's sometimes don't bother me)
You said to leave a positive comment. So, protons.

Only 7 year olds found this comment funny
Because they didn't understand it?
And I love to leave neutral comments You know not overly possitive or straight up deppressing so... Neutrons amirite?
+That one “Animu” guy 😐
What about the spawn room basketball? If you punched it with that much force wouldn't pop or smash a hole through the spawn? Im probably reading too far into this...
Basketball= Most op weapon in the game
You mean like he's reading to much into the mechanics of a punch in a video game lol
Ever heard of "holding back"?
i know, r/wooooosh me.
Thank you very much austin! I've been trying to figure out how to use units of force and how to properly calculate all that for a world building excercise, but then I remembered that you made this excellent little video. So you have probably saved me a lot of tedious research, and for that I thank you very much.

I just assumed that, due to years of malmaintenance, the signs and fences would snap like twigs.
True
Except they snap the same way in Numbani, which is modern and relatively new city :) so the strain does not work into this theory.
YES!!!!!! A NEW VIDEO THAT IS 12x BETTER THAN MATPAT!!

mat pat is annoying as hell, he isn't funny and constantly tries to be... I stopped watching his videos a while back, and the last few I watched either made no sense or actually made no conclusions
well. i unsubscribed to matpat a while ago. not only because the quality of his content was decreasing, but also because he only fucking looks at nintendo, and that pissed me off.

Or... maybe they're just made with a different material? The nitpick and overthinking was strong in this one. Anyway, as usual, was a very entertaining excercise. Great video!
No, because we know for a fact that this is based in America, we know that America already uses this system, and a rehaul of a perfectly functioning system is unlikely in the foreseeable future, and you can see some signs have rust patterns that are quite substantial, indicating a number of years, so I believe they are the galvanized steel currently used in real life america
I thought this was gonna be about how melee is actually a way too strong move, but this is actually complain about absolutely nothing. amazing
welcome to the channel its a fun time
+Still Store-Bought Shitposts™ like the title of this video, that's a complete lie
bit clickbaity tbh :/
What he's saying that realistically just using a melee strike would be enough to break like all the bones the opponent has or will have.
I do agree it what kinda click-baity though. But not enough to complain about it...
he did explain at the start why it was a out fo place video, everyone deservers a down week or two :P
Austin, those signs have effectively gone for 110 years without maintenance
at the point overwatch begins
steel would lose a noticable amount of its durability only over the course of few thousand years, if that even would be possible.
+Jacob No951 plus natural climate would wear it down.
Then how come they show no evidence of corrosion?
Benjamin Michael you got me there. But hey it's like Austin said, we could just be over thinking it. 😂
Obviously. Every character is part machine. Thus they have bionic limbs.
no not all of them
Roadhog, Zarya, Lucio, 76, Tracer, Anna, D.Va (Out of Mecha) and Mei don't.
(Adam Jensen totally doesn't either)
A slightly better reason would be natural weathering.
This could explain the breaking areas not being straight lines (As they are designed to do).
NotACat road daddy is 600 pounds of meat that can tug a 3 ton mec without a problem. zarya was a professional weight lifter. Lucio is a dj so he's got some punch. tracer can technically use her time distortion to got you 100 times but looks like one. 76 is a super soldier. Anna is a mean lady she raised pharah. and mei is a fat loser
You do understand that that was a list for people who don't have robotic parts...
NotACat But some a are physically augmented and or trained intensely. you forgot reaper when he was Reyes btw.
"carbon, copper, manganese, and phosphorous blend" sounds delicious
This is definitely some of the most quality, well crafted content on CZcams. Thank you very much.
Lol
this is so much more annoying than quality or entertaining
indeed
It would be nice to have another halo Science! Vid. Maybe about the Spartan project.
Its pretty well documented in Halsey's journal so less research needed, right?

ClayPlayz one punch =30
Bastion=300
30*6=180
30*10=300
So it l takes 10 punches
Samuel L. Bastion has armour too
Yo Austin, please figure out the SCIENCE behind Reinhardt's Earthshatter ability.
Or... the actual shield. Or the pin ablility.
How about all?
+Boxer man I feel like the shield is all that needs explaining, I mean the pin is just him slamming you into a wall, and earth shatter is just a hulk ground pound but with a hammer, both done with just propulsion. what's so hard to understand
+Jonathan Brazzle jet propulsion
+Jonathan Brazzle How much force does Rein have to use to crack the group and destabilize people? How could he generate that much force? How many 747's are his arms probably made of?
So bastion's body can handle 10 punches...huh.
Okay. what the hell is he made of?
bastion isn't a god, but his bird is a god using magic powers to protect it. all the overwatch characters are gods meddling in the affairs of man.
+skyblade57 bastion is an incomplete God program tho ,':^)
Lunar Bro no, bastion is a bastion-class omnic and the bird is a god.
+skyblade57 Which presents an interesting background narrative. Overwatch was investigated and dismantled because of public outcry (stemming from internal meddling), right? What if they agreed to disband to avoid having to crush their human worshippers? Stories show if you demand a god does something it usually ends badly.
biohazard724 yes, it's the secret backstory of overwatch didn't you watch the full video?
you definitely have the best sign off.

The science behind Bioshock's Adam? Maybe anything like Plasmids or the Adam Slug is possible in real life?
Hey, could you do some reaserch if a face like the Zerg is possible and if there are any real world equivalents to species.
Dear Austin,
It's me, some dude in the comments. Now you have mostly done videos on Fallout and Overwatch. Don't get me wrong, I love them. But, what about other games such as Assassin's Creed? Primarily, Ezio's Hidden Gun and Arno's Phantom Blade. Explain the science behind them, please.

I love these old Shoddycast videos, am glad you are doing better and once again making videos. Gonna watch the Stimpack video next because these are pure youtube gold! = ]
The really scary part is how strong the punches would be if they actually used kinetic linking, rotated the fist to maximize imparted force (as used in the basic karate punch), or actually put their weight into it, rather than simply extending the arm. I can only imagine how powerful such a punch would actually be.
I like how a bunch of people are whining about how you didn't get to your point fast enough. Yeah that's true, but do you lack THAT much patience? Good god, you have the attention spans of ferrets. I noticed it was dragging on but I just ignored it, it's not that big of a deal. Also I agree with you Austin, you should make a punch comparison video. That sounds awesome. I'd suggest Minecraft's Steve as a good contender, what with tree punching and diamond compression.
Also because what he did instead was try to be funny, which he wasn't.
That's your opinion doucher. Just skip to the end and bitch less. It'll help you in life.
It had something to do with how he was wasting my time and his breath, and the former has value. =/

Absolutely loved this video!!! I seriously thought it was going to explain each characters punch damages and which ones are more OP. But this video was hilarious and amazing!
I love your music choice, it really adds to the video
Dude, you fucked up. 1 cm^2 isn't 0.01 m^2, it's 0.0001 m^2 because the centi is also squared. That should lower the punching speed to 24 m/s or so (trusting your other numbers) or about 50 mph. This is still really fast but a lot more sensible.
No, you square it outside of the unit. Like if I had 5 cm^2, I ignore the cm for a second, just multiply 5x5 to get 25, reintroduce the cm, then convert to meters. would come out to 0.25 m or 0.05m^2.
Nope. That isn't true and, it really should be obvious if you think about a 1 m * 1 m square. Now divide each edge into cm. Now there are 100 divisions per edge; if you draw lines across them you get 10,000 1 cm * 1 cm squares in the 1 m * 1 m square and therefore 1 cm^2 is 0.0001 m^2.
This is also why 1 l is 1 dm^3 (a dm being 10 cm or 0.1 m) even though 1 ml is 1 cm^3: 1 cm^3 = 1 ml = 0.001 dm^3 => 1 cm^3 = 0.001 dm^3
Like, it sucks that it's written this ambiguously, but the prefix is *always* included within the power.
You can't convert cm^2 to just metres, 0.25m is in no way at all the same as 0.05m^2 or 5cm^2.
1 cm is (1/100)m, therefore 1 cm^2 is (1/100)^2m^2 = (1/10,000)m^2=0.0001m^2.
Tristan is completly correct. 5cm^2 is 0.0005m^2, not 0.25m which is non sensical to say or 0.05m^2 which is just wrong. These "the science" videos are almost always badly researched nonsense.
yeah, I completely missed the dimensional analysis fail there the first time. It sucks that these videos are often nonsense but this seemed like a really basic fuckup that anyone even slightly familiar with metric should be able to notice and catch before it becomes a script let alone a video.
tristan roberts It's certainly not his biggest mistake in these videos.
You'd think that someone would realise that when you can't manage to solve an equation, you can't just swap the signs and pretend it's meaningful. Yet that didn't stop him from just randomly swapping the sign in the lorentz transformation in the mass effect video because he couldn't solve it.
It's quite sad that so many people are being peddled such misinformed nonsense by this guy.
What about Reinhardt's and Zarya's shields? How do they work?
Reinhardt is a Paladin. His shield comes from his Faith.
Barrier fields
Don't forget about winston
+SonOfMyths73 damn right
Hey, and fucking magnets how do they work?
The environment in overwatch is just made of toothpicks, your just looking at the situation the wrong way
11:41 how did you get 30 meters per second? the punch covers a distance of 2 meters and the length of the entire animation is around half a second, assuming half of the time was the punch and half of the time was getting the hand back, 2/0.25 gives you 8 meters per second
I never though that talking about street signs would be so interesting.
And i'm going to point out, one punch breaks a sign, bones takes much less then that to be turned into powder, but it takes more then a single punch to kill the person you punch from full health.
So the people in the game have stronger bodies then a steel pole.
then there is roadhog who can take a rocket to the face, inhale some gas and its all good
+very mad guy lmao
how else do you explain Reindhardt basically rocket boosting you into rock/steel/concrete walls, and you surviving. *provided your health is high enough*
i really, really like the way you tackle problems and concepts in videos. i love the pacing, i love your character, it's all just fantastic! personally, i don't understand why people give you so much hate just for things like being enthusiastic or slowly easing into your point. i think it's great. :) keep doing what you do, and keep being you!
Dear Austin,
did you really think before this video, that Overwatch heroes/villains are humans?
First of all, let's clear out obvious once, like super intelligent gorilla Winston, war machine Bastion and enlightened robot Zenyatta.
What's left are all just petty humans, right? *WRONG*
Most of Overwatch heroes/villains are actually superhumans or have some kind of enhancement, like suits and mechs.
Let's start with that:
Genji - cyborg, only remaining human parts are probably brain and partially face
McCree - robotic arm prosthesis
Pharah - wearing some kind of suit, comparable to Iron Man, later suits
Reaper - formerly super soldier due to the drug, later became something like a ghost/wrath
Soldier 76 - super soldier due to the drug
Tracer - possibly also super soldier, but mostly, she's out of time, literally
Junkrat - radiation freak
Torbjörn - several robotic prostheses
Widowmaker - probably super soldier/assassin, her heartbeat is so slow, that her skin turned blue(how?!)
D.Va - usually in her mecha suit, that explains everything
Reinhardt - wearing some kind of suit, comparable to the older version of Iron Man's suit, Mark I
Roadhog - radiation freak
Zarya - the strongest woman ever, plus she's Russian
Ana - probably super soldier, she survived the shot in her eye, speaks for itself
Mercy - very close to Wolverine with her healing/regenerative abilities
So, the most normal members and possibly fully humans are: Hanzo, Mei, D.Va without mecha, Zarya, Lúcio and Symmetra.
And even with these we have no idea, if they're not somehow specially enhanced.
Did he say Judo punch!?
Judo has no hitting!
it does in kata
kappa or na
lol
Pascals are a measure of pressure, right? If so, then multiplying the 80 Gigapascals by your area should net you the force required, not pascals again.
In addition, force isn't calculated by looking at velocity, it's derived from the rate of change of momentum, so either you're not sharing something, or you're just pulling numbers out of your ass.
***** It IS finished, what are you talking about specifically?
Click read more ya muppet
I mean, he did mention at the start that he was busy in life and in order to meet the schedule, he had to choose an easy topic. It makes sense if he did screw up some numbers. Regardless, punching street signs in half is quite an impossible feat.
Well this topic is anything but easy.... Next time he should plot his thing in some CAD software to recheck cause this is really far from the truth.
He also got the "neutral axis" wrong. Though to be fair, it took a year of engineering college for me to thoroughly understand what he was fumbling after a week of research.
Hey what is the song that plays in this intro? I've been wanting to learn it on piano for the longest time and I don't know what song it is lol.
Hey my question is if thats the case just how heavy would the weights in the room on the training area are? Because those things hardly move at all.
Honestly, I totally forgot about the intro to this video being a letter to Blizzard. so the ending was half hilarious and half shocking because of how long it was since I remembered it.
I want to know the science behind the reindhart shield, i mean, how can It stop bullets in only one direction, how much eneegy can absorb before being destructed, what kind of material can stand so much hits on a so thin barrier?
How did irt survive so long in the bastion short
+Gcraft 2.0 Hahahaha
Perhaps this was back when Reinhardt's armor was in much better condition, and thus what we see in game is the weak, time-worn version of it.
It's not even just 1 direction, it can stop enemy bullets in both directions
in chemistry we have these crystals that arrange monodirectionally
imagine cones all pointed in one direction
now Reinhardts shield just has to spray some liquid in one direction and use a magnetic field to arrange the crystals and rearrange them after something passed through the conetip end and keep them in bounds, explains why his shield literally cracks after much damage
wait, only one mill subs?
Over WTF That's too much for a man like him.
I actually thought you would measure the damage it did to health bars, compare it to the jouhle/hp we have with bastion to find out it's force but you wen't on with something that proves it's actually harder and that the quick meele of an ana alone should instantly kill roadhog
Yet all they do is 40 damage...
I think it 30
It makes sense if everyone has superstrong bones that can withstand the impacts mentioned in the video.
It's 25 damage.
Tracer's bullet's do a max of 6 damage per round (according to the Overwatch wiki), so regardless of whether punching does 25, 30 or 40 points of damage, the punch is still doing 4 to 7 times more damage than a bullet. Either that or Tracer has twin BB guns... hmm... that could explain a lot.
35*
after 3 minutes of build up, my desire to watch this upload disappeared
Have you never watched a ShoddyCast video before?
Does anyone know the name of the song used at the start? Specifically when the video begins
The use of music is way better than any other video that I've seen
We want more elder scrolls
"we"? Last I checked it's just you.
+Joshua Shamash hahaha right ?!
+Joshua Shamash I have two likes, so it's we. Sorry if you can't count.
I want some more elder scroll episodes
me too.
what about reinhardts rocket assisted hammer? with his exosuit time thing?
Wouldn't that just mean that that attack deals as much force as a short Chinese woman with thick padded gloves? That almost makes it worse.
+TheGreatYukon actually, his attack is 2.5 times stronger than a Chinese woman wearing gloves, so much better...that's still pretty bad...
Austin, could you please talk about how much force junkrats concussion mine would need to launch him as high in the air as it does?
Does anyone know what's the background song in 3:44? cant find it anywhere
why are you all so in love with the empirial system it's so bloody confusing and quite frankly outdated.
because were unique
We tried to convert a while ago but us Americans only accept our system and are too lazy to change
Now I'm not claiming to know everything about the topic but I would say it's because in this situation and others we're pretty short sighted. I've asked my science teachers the same thing and I usually hear that it's because it would be pretty tough considering most everyone would have to buy new equipment for the new system. Long term this isn't that big of a deal and it will make life easier but people don't want to have to spend money. This actually happened back around the 1930's and it didn't work. I know this is a lot more of an answer than you wanted but it's better than "Americans are just dumb." We're not dumb, we're stubborn and short sighted
ilpazzo12 Says the ones who left the eu
because it would cost billions to switch now
Im a reinhardt main so no quick melee hits for me :(
Soz m8
If it helps I rarely get to melee at all
"mains" lol
+marz I don't do competitive so your elitist words mean nothing to me
+Wer Leidet 23 ???
+marz Reinhardt mains are perfectly acceptable, Rein is used on every non king of the hill map.
What do you use to record the gameplay?
Austin's lectures are probably the most awesome way to learn physics. And other sciences, in fact.
how about doing a episode on mercys resurrection
She clearly hit up all the shops and picked up LOADS of phoenix downs.
nanomachines son
Wer Leidet 23 oh was she playing us like damm fiddles
+rasta king She fills her patients with SUCH A LUST FOR REVENGE.

whats the video the footage in 0:45 is?
When a thin roller skating black man deals as much damage with a punch as a man that can pull huge men wearing armor.
Holy mother get to the points: skip to 3:30.
the video starts at 3:33
11:30
+Kalas Hydra 17:30
fo real. he talks too much. its as bad as "click on the subscribe button and punch that like for me, that'll be.. great. now on to the video!"
thx
Yeah bro a little disrespectful towards ur viewers to drag them through the rambling and u know why u do it $$$
What is the name of the song playing at the beginning of the video?
Every action has a equal and opposite reaction therefore since the bar is receiving the shear force, so the bone won't be harmed.
i came here from a melee video
as in
super smash bros melee
i don't even play overwatch
but this is some quality content 👌🏻
... why were there a bunch of pop-up windows covering up the Audible logo when it looked like the screen went all white at the end?
There's a lot of science going on in Metal Gear V TPP. I'd love to see an episode on the "Fulton ballista" or its bi-pedal weaponry.
Gotta say Austin. Higgy and I have always loved your content! I especially love listening to them as I'm driving to work. I did always find it quite odd how these characters can destroy these things in the environment with such ease.
There is something I've been wondering and perhaps you (or anyone else in the comment section) can help me figure out. What is so special about electricity that is able to penetrate Reinhardt's shield? Is it really penetrating the shield, or is it because the electricity flows through the emblem where the shield expands from? It's the only explanation I could come up with... until the recent patch where Mei's robot (her ult) can go through the shield now.
Anyway, thanks for the videos as always, Austin! They're always great to watch~

I thought he was going to actually complain about the game mechanics, not how you can punch scenery in a fucking video game.
What are the clips called at 13:24?
Can someone help me
So wait, Lucio fights using music, so if the gun is stonger (or as strong) as his hand, shouldn't healing his allies make them go deaf? Since he is using the music after all, or is there some secret lore where it explains every single detail about his gun and it shoots something completely different? Or did I just discover why he has earphones?
@10:20 - math fail; there are 10000 cm^2 per m^2, not 100 ... a square meter is 100cm per *side*, containing 10k cm^2. You should have wondered how a square with a side of 5 would have an area of 5 ... and I can't get to my calculator by that 0.053 number looks wrong too ...
OK, it's a case of what we called "math magic" back in Naval Nuclear Propulsion training ... equation was wrong, but somehow magically got the right answer. The result is indeed just over 5cm: (5.08^2) - ((5.08-(2*0.278))^2) = 5.3398cm^2 for the area of the shear point. So the error was when you converted it to m^2 ... 0.000534m^2 not 0.053m^2, because you divided by 100 instead of 10000. C'mon, Austin, if nothing else typing "convert sq cm to sq m" into google would have gotten ya a converter for that. ;)
Which, BTW, throws your force calcs off by a factor of 100 too. Still an insane amount of pressure required, but only 1% as insane as it would have been. XD
Which makes sense, since if it required a semi with a wedge travelling at Mach 7 (as you proposed) to shear that post, how in the hell would we have ever seen it happen already?
Was thinking the same thing, also a bit misleading when he says "3.9 GPa of force"... Maaan use newtons for force and Pascals for pressure.
+Darin Conard im in 3th class of highschool, this is magic talk to me atm
i have realised today that i have no fucking clue what your saying half the time but dawum it sounds cool
melee attack of genji has a very unique range. its far more than the short sword that he deals a melee with.
Someone in my neighborhood went and tore a handrail right out of the wall of my apartment building. The concrete wall. That it was attached to with four 2 inch diameter steel-to-concrete anchored metal bolts. I think they must have hooked it up to a car to do that, that seems improbably difficult to do with just human strength.
why does this youtuber sound like that one guy from scishow
I thought he WAS that one guy from SciShow?
