D's Institute Vault 88 Settlement

- This is the second settlement I've created now where I "institutionalize" certain settlements in Fallout 4. For this particular Vault, I've taken inspiration from Cordless and his Institute Vault 88 design, ( • Fallout 4 - Institute ... . However, I've decided to go a bit above and beyond:
This settlement contains 5 floors, all the mimicked institute departments, customized vault-tech resources made to look more appropriate with the Institute theme, a large generator room, a functioning synth fabricator, a large hospital wing, over 30 beds, and a ton more!
The mod itself contains over 8518 items within it, which is about half of the entire space storage for vault-tech.
If we want to include some lore-based story to it: The Institute has achieved victory, and are now expanding their operations onto the surface world. Vault 88 has been institutionalized by the new Father to closely study not only the incoming settlers but also Vault-tech itself through their experiments. On another note, Institutionalized Vault 88, or IV-88, has also begun their fifth phase also known as "integration" with the Commonwealth through this method.

honestly love the idea of turning the vault 88 space into a sort of institute satellite location. makes me wish there were institute settlement objects in vanilla or even just an institute settlement in general.
If only the institute looked like this in the original game
Preston: "...Damn... now I see why you didn't help those settlements I had marked on your map... Been busy with building a place for a human to live? If Institute is gonna rebuild the Commonwealth like this, they aren't evil after all, even though I won't ever forgive them for synth replacements."

Vault-Tec rep: My Lord!!! This place is definitely prepared for the future!
Piper: "You mean Institute can accept people into such an awesome place? And these terminals!!! ...uhh I hope they are full of scientific info and not with... uhhh... stuff....."
Deacon: "If onlty it wasn't a golden cage for synths..."
Codsworth: Sir, when we entered this place, I started to doubt we witnessed an entire atomic annihilation.
Danse: "The technology here must be either destroyed or taken to the Brotherhood. We must not leave it to evil hands, even despite its stunning look."
Cait: "...alroight, nou more Jet, this moust be moy hallucinaytions"

@@denterdall7117 Piper was a reference on herself discovering rule 34. There was a meme about that.
Btw if Nate (with ofc maxed out Charisma) was the director of the Institute he could actually make Institute from worst to best faction. For example he could openly say on the radio:
"Dear Commonwealth. I am a biological father/mother of the previous director of the Institute, the General of the Minutemen, and the new director of the Institute. The previous decisions of the Institute were cruel, but we neither can revive the dead, for now, nor we can destroy the best hope for the Commonwealth. What I will announce will be possibly the best news for the Commonwealth. My first order was to stop atrocious kidnappings, for which the Institute was infamous for. The synths were ordered not to target any innocent human being, unless they are attacked first. To redeem our name, we will now target only raiders, gunners, and only hostile Supermutants. The next thing needed to do is to attempt to persuade our enemies, that we can fight together with evil to help the Commonwealth. As a pre war person, I remember how we used to live before the Great War. With such technology, we can organize the Commonwealth of Massachusetts into a fully functioning country. If everything will go according to plan, you, my fellow Americans, will finally prosper, in... The New, United, States, of America!"
Maybe not too fitting for Nate, but I'd really like this to be an available ending after Father's death. Just imagine how awesome it would be to make it some sort of more RPG-ish, where you could finally start alliances, make enemies and even choose how you'd like to take over the Commonwealth. This was the speech of Nate, who would like to restore the Commonwealth by uniting people with the Institute into New Massachusetts, and then New USA. Also it would be a good reason to buff baddies even further, making Fallout 4 even more fun.

This is insanely well made. Looks like a more homey part of the Institute we never got to see. Love the idea of their having a secondary base location as a backup. Awesome job with this :)

Right? On a damn alienware laptop too nonetheless xD although some hall of mirrors effects were present when i made my Spectacle Island build das why it was never made
@@bigbadwolf5596 Yeah my laptop's a potato and I get screen tearing before I've even built my basic structure in Vault 88! So many grand plans will never come to fruition.

Hello I'm doing a build right now in vault 88 just like yours I'm literally studying your video as we speak and I have a really great Foundation I just need to know what mod you used for those potted Institute plans and also the floor mats with the orange lining. I downloaded the mods you mentioned on here but they are missing some of those items 😢
plants i was just creative w the place anywhere. both are found in thee homemaker mod doe either under floor or like shelves and such. It's weird the best to do is to just explore every nook and cranny of those mods.
@@bigbadwolf5596 Yup I found every mod and item you used except the planters with the circle on top. The black surface ones with the circle bush plants on top. The institute has them but I couldn't find them in the mods did you make those some how? It's the institute planter with the black surface on top with the round light and the bush type plant comes out of it

@@bigbadwolf5596 lol I’m 37 I’ve put hours into this game think I’ve gone thru 3x girls too. But Fallout4 is always there for me lol. Just went back to it other day I’ve got saves from YEARS ago lol, nice to know my settlements are still thriving 😂

Why the settler just standing there like a statue ..., its that bug ?? If yes .. then this mod useless
He probably turned off NPC AI so they would not move and interact with doors and stuff
