- This is a massive self sufficient structure I built at "Abernathy Farm" in Fallout 4. I'll be showing the construction process as well as a brief tour of this tower that I call the "Tower of Eden".

this is truly one of the greatest settlements ever created on fallout 4. It's a feat of architectural ingenuity and creativity. by far my favorite channel right now! =)

I found this one 6 years after the fact, amazing structure! If you want to step up your settlement building game to the top level, this channel is a one stop shop for building techniques. Incredible, just incredible.
Here's another tip: SAVE! When you're building up this high, you can easily fall to your death and lose 30 mins to an hour worth of building, since you're usually not going into your inventory to trigger an auto save. Trust me, it sucks!

This is insane! I was expecting mods and console commands were being used to help build this, but you did it on a console! By far the most impressive settlement that i've seen.

+Jug try wearing power armor with a jet pack. Don't have to worry about falling and it makes getting back up more easy.

+Mel Castro I was so proud of myself when I reformed Croup Manor covering all the gaps in the walls, ceiling and stuff. This makes me want to go there and launch a mini nuke against the settlement.
There's a mod for PC that rebuilds Croup Manor to more or less pre-war condition.
haha - it's like watching an actul construction site with all the makeshift scaffolding you place to get up and down. i love it!! - haha
The most dangerous scaffolding ever. He legit had to jump from one stairway to another to get up higher. If this was real life OSHA would have a field day with him.

I was proud of some of my settlements (New Sanctuary, Starlight City, Fort Nordhagen, various Institute outposts/farms, etc), and felt like I was perhaps a little too obsessive over detail, but this.. this is just incredibly awesome, I'm continually impressed by the ingenuity of some of my fellow Fallout 4 players. :)
This is some really nice work. So often we find videos/people who construct using mods and act like they're some sort of creative genius but this is true honest creativity. Very Nice.
Hey Jug, this shows that obviously you're a master at this. I could only wish to have the patience you have to be able to sit for a while and do this but my character has ADHD just like his master and just runs around killing and discovering things. keep up the fantastic work my friend. I'm a fallout veteran and have not seen anything this good in many years. Kudos to you.

That is just breathtaking architecture. The Grand Entrance is better than anything Bethesda built. I think it's time Bethesda offered you a job to properly teach them how we would like to craft in Fallout 5 (Whenever that will be). You offer so many incredible tips and tricks I wished I had known earlier, especially since I use the PS4 myself. Anyhow, absolutely phenomenal design work, especially knowing the tweaking that must be done to get it all to work. I appreciate your tutorials and look forward to building more later. I wish I could come visit Abernathy Towers!
This, this is probably the best build I've seen yet. I would've never been this creative with it. The clipping and stacking is incredible!

"Fallout 4 Sanctuary Hills Capital City Settlement Build (No Mods Used)"
made by Orange Squeasy. This video is astonishing good, like the videos i've seen of Jug, but no tutorial, just demonstration.
As far as I can remember he put in more than 300 hours building Sanctuary with an attention to detail that is hard to put into words.

During the 2020 Quarantine, I'm spending a lot of time building in Fallout 4. Even after all this time, your methods and tips are very helpful--and even with mods--difficult to duplicate. This is an absolutely awesome build. Thank you for the inspiration during a very dark time.

+Danielshz This is the Mouth of Jug " Hi this is Jugs comment from earlier point in time and space...x"I trashed the trees etc on every settlement and saved the game there, so I could use all the materials at one location. I keep each of these bases on it's own save file so I can just load a previous save and use the same materials all over again. Concrete isn't as easy to come by from scavenging so you may want to buy up some shipments from abernathy and finch farm.That being said none of these bases actually exist in my main campaign." hope that helps.

Hey Jug, your curved staircase got me thinking/building a spiral staircase using the counters from misc. furniture. All I can say after 5 hours of rug glitching, snap-tooling and attempting to use clipping to my advantage - you are a far more patient and careful man than I. Exceptional work.
that rug trick with inserting the lamps is driving me batty. the craft you've taken up is amazing, and your discipline is getting me all riled up

+Christopher Rhudy He doesnt use glitch, just uses all supplies gathered from salvage at settlements and has different builds on seperate saves so he can restart new with all supplies
+Alex Smith if that made any sense... or can be dumb like me and just keep buying shipments of wood/copper mostly and any junk you can find at stores.
+James Burtis Dogmeat/companion item duping was patched in the latest 1.3. I've also heard the crafting bench dupe method was patched too.

To bypass settlement size limit: Go to the settlement you want to bypass the limit on. Go to the workshop. Take out all the weapons in your workshop. Exit workshop mode. Go into your inventory and drop all your weapons. Enter workshop mode. Store all the weapons you just dropped. Size limit decrease complete. Can do this every time your size meter fills up.
Gonna try that guess juf did that as well since his bar goes down sometimes .

+coolakiIlen007 Only crash I've experienced was when I tried fast traveling from a location that was over the build limit. Specifically Sanctuary. Connecting a terminal and changing the colors of all the light boxes would likely cause a crash though.
I don't have the patience to do builds like these, but MAN they are impressive. I enjoy watching your videos.
OMFG!!!! I've watched numerous videos of single house builds and settlements which are all very good, and I appreciate the time and skill of all the fellow gamers. But.......this my friend is taking building to a seriously professional level. Absolutely outstanding, you must be an architect in real life. And very calmly presented too. Excellent job. Subscribed immediately. I realise it was 2 years ago but I haven't been playing ( This! Is playing? ) as long but I'm hooked
