This alumni race is a fantastic idea. Is what NASCAR needs for us 80s and 90s fans.
Thank you so much for having Michael Andretti on for an interview, good video, great interview .
Kyle Petty ride came through my town one year and stopped at my local Maverick gas station.
North Platte is 50 miles from where I live, alot of people are excited to see you guys!!!
Whoo hoo, have a great ride with Kyle and crew,it’s a wonderful charity! Have fun at Darlington you alumni, you! Herman show ‘em how!
Do you guys not have bugs there how come you always leave the front door open😂
The front door is always open for Louie, and just in case Elvis or Dale come to visit the Heminator. The only bugs around that place is in his racecar, and he figures out how to get rid of them.
Have a safe motorcycle ride ✌️
Kenny, thats a great move by NASCAR to have the NASCAR Alumni being recognized. With your era and those that are still with us,whose time was a little before you are the last NASCAR drivers who are true blue collar racers.Stories and adventures than don't exist with the new generation drivers. A show like the one years back called NASCAR Legends with all the great racers of yesteryear reminicing the good old days. Remember you are the last generation to know the real struggle of trying to make the big league of Stockcar Racing. Now today you would have a hard time finding a Cup driver, with grease under their finger nails, banged up cut hands, and the ability to build ,setup, and haul those racecars to the track, race them, bring them home service them and back out on the road. Those are the stories I enjoy, and they need to be told in a gathering of the old guard.Have a fun safe trip with Kyle and everyone on the ride, wish you good weather and an enjoyabl trip.
DANG.....You do a great job mowin your yard Kenny!!!!
Alex Bowman just ran his 300th start! Cheers to the 3 timer!
❤❤❤❤
Good morning Kenny. On May 8th right after you leave the KY Derby Museum and get on I-65, look to your right to see one of Harry Hyde’s old stomping grounds. Right past where the National Guard vehicles are usually parked. Fairgrounds Motor Speedway has long since been dismantled but was a premier local track when it was open. We all miss it. Harry came quite often. Hopefully I can come see you guys there. Ride careful bud.
Can't wait to see ya and hopefully meet ya at Churchill Downs Museum in Louisville next Wednesday!
"I swear, you need to get out more! You don't have enough to do!"😂🏁
Have a safe ride and enjoy it!!
Have a safe ride Herm. Keep it between the ditches!
To clarify my point about adding crew Chiefs and such to the alumni…. Dale Inman has 171 wins as a crew chief and 8 NASCAR Cup Series Championships, Chad Knaus has 82 wins, Ray Evernham 47 wins, etc. etc.
You have fun with your Bro's, sounds like a blast !
Have fun Mr. Wallace and ride safe.
I enjoy the stuff you talk about, thanks for doing what you do.
An Alumni race will make so many of us very happy ♥️👍😁
I will be at Darlington with my family for the 2nd year in a row for Mother's Day!!! I would love to meet you in person! Last year was perfect because my boy William "Boring" Byron won!😂 Best Mother's Day ever!
Congratulations n thats great to hear
While in Deadwood you might want to go to Mt. Moriah cemetary. My Great grandparents are there, along with Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane. Enjoy the ride!
Finally NASCAR has decided to embrace those drivers who have raced so hard over the years to make the sport of stock car racing so competitive. Eventually, I would hope that some of the sports top crew chiefs, engineers builders, and team owners could be included in the alumni.
I hope to see you guys on the road. I'm a truck driver. Be safe have fun.
Kyle's ride is a fantastic charity, and I can't wait to hear all about it. I wish I lived closer to the route. The alumni is going to be great for us 60 year old's.
Herm! You have a badass bike, i watched the episode when Steven surprised you with it!
Hot Damn its Kenny Wallace
He is a man of constant Racing
Great morning to you. Always a pleasure listening to your podcast. Good info and not too much bs. Keep safe in your travels
That's always fun to be apart of the alumni NASCAR should have had that long time ago
OK - So I checked out the Kyle Petty Charity ride thingy, I was actually hoping you guys would get there for the Reunion in Bowling Green but - alas - you're there on the 8th of May and the Reunion Is June 18th - oh well glad the NASCAR is finally getting their shit together to some extent, now if they will only get back to real racing everything will be put right again.
Keep the faith Kenny
The charity ride sounds like a good time.
DANG IT KENNY
Good morning Kenny
Awesome!
You guys be safe 😊
See you in Bowling Green, KY!
Where they build Corvettes
have fun buddy!
Hi Kenny the first nascar race I remembered watching was Rusty Wallace’s last race
When I read your title the first thing I thought of was the blues brothers getting the band back together. THE BAND! LOL
If you're starting in Sturgis how do you get your bikes there? 😅
My mom was born in North Platte, she showed quarter horse events when a teen. Love you mom. ♥️
Safe Travels to King Herman
yes
I watched the NASCAR Kenny for years and always pulled for you to do good but I’ve only met and talked to the biker Kenny Wallace I’ve even got o’l biker Kenny on a few videos along with his biker big brother and nephew.
Sounds like the southern 500 is going to be good 👍
This is what the stadium race should have been in legends cars or something.
The Southern 500 is usually Labor Day weekend in September not the May race, true or false?
Hey Kenny Kelly Clancy here where are you guys going to be in Iowa when you're on the Kyle Petty charity ride? I'd love a chance to meet you.
Is this going to be racing for the alumni drivers or just meet and greets
I want to ride n that ride once i get better
Safe ride, wish i can see you and Schrader banging doors.
hey wallace i have an idea why dont you nascar guys do a charity ride up the east cost and end it with a huge victory lap then day of the race in memory of adam petty? and also kenny irwin.
Great job, now all they need is the old cars, old rules and the old points system and the stands will fill up and the TV ratings will recover! Sorry, couldn't help myself!! LOL
You old drivers could do public service announcements like snow blindness in cats or fire in a hammock what do you think?
Tell us about the Christmas lights some video😂.
They need to put these alumni drivers in Late Model Stock Cars for 50-100 lap races, with the rules from the 90's. I'd pay to see that! This is why I'm a local short track supporter, and not a big Nascar fan. Because local short tracks are the Nascar of the 80's and 90's! No stage racing, and Next Gen cars!
The nascar alumni is a great idea… should have a race for all you big name drivers who never won a cup race
It's nice when you bring all the old talent back together. But I will say if they learn heart. Senior was still around. None of this stuff would be going on in NASCAR right now. Because he ruled they listened to him and Richard petty. Richard petty's pretty much out now too. He's too old but still has a team, but they don't listen to him anymore. God bless America. When we had daily heart senior he made shit happen God bless America. When we had daily heart senior he made s*** happen.
Shut the front door!!!
If Dale Earnhardt, senior was still around.
Nascar needs to have a senior division, minimum age 55 and all race with the exact same car.
Let them race what they raced,
I love the Alumni concept, but that one correct move isn't a fix-all, they're still F**king up in a lot of other BIG ways with this car and the formats. And I know it's bitching til I'm blue in the face over stuff that probably won't change, but it's still my personal opinion that having a few legends around, though an EXCELLENT fan experience and something that should be happening, isn't enough of a band aid when what NASCAR really needs is a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
Christmas Lights?
Nascar needs to get it right and throw the chase into the garbage where it belongs
NASCAR Alumni I will bring a 12 pack of Geritol. PS Hi louie
Hey Herm, I could have sworn you said you were getting your hair cut. . . Uhm did you ??? So that's it ?? lol , jk
Kenny fix the gutter for crying out loud!
are they bringing back the rebel flag ? ......& ......the noose from Bubbas garage ...? ......................just sayin .............................:)
NASCAR has a big problem on how they treat their retired drivers.
No one talks about
Tim Richmond.
Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr
Both should be involved helping with the new car point of view working as a consultant helping NASCAR improve their sport
NASCAR has almost killed short track racing
