Its interesting to note that the average daytime temperature in the UAE as in Dubai, well over 100 degrees you wonder about the jams and fruit spreads, heat them to 100 degrees, see if the consistency changes. Maybe they will be spreadable.
Actually, it's just that the jam in the middle east is different than the one in the US since in the US it's more of a jelly consistency, while in the middle east the jam is supposed to look like that since gelatine is haram in Islam.

The multiple languages make sense if they're doing joint ops, you want everyone to be able to read the instructions regardless of origin.
And because it is produced in france or somtimes in spain for the French company. Many Items are the same as in the Temporary (complementary) from france orderd German EPA. (the german version got a sticker on with the translation) ;-)
The company who make them probably does that not by request of the costumer I imagine they add the Arabic and the English is always there
I LOVE dates, so I was so happy to see those! Makes sense for a Middle Eastern pack. Dates should honestly be in every MRE - so much energy, are sweet, chewy and nice to consume. He also makes all of these sound SO DELICIOUS - I get so hungry after each. NICE.
And dates will stave off the resultant constipation of a steady diet of MREs 😂

That is one nice MRE. It makes me want to try it. The last MRE I had was from the national guard from like 1993 or 1994. It was hot dogs and bean burritos if I remember correctly. I was about 5 years old. I remember matches and other accessories. What a memory! ❤ thanks man

Even without vacuum packing dates can last a surprisingly long time, and are a relatively dense source of calories. In the IDF whenever recruits complain about the quality of the food they're sometimes told that a Syrian sniper can live for a week off a single bag of dates.
the syrian army food is basically couple of peta bread/ potatoes/tomatoes/eggs/cucumber. they dont use MREs. in desert areas however they use dates a lot, its very nutritious.

when I was there during training they would bring to go boxes from their dfac. Best meals I've ever had in the Army. Then tea and dates were amazing.

For some reason I always crave a #11 Chicken and Rice US 90s MRE. I guess a comfort thing. These are above and beyond. I'd love to just try one of these just as an activity. Awesome channel
