    About:
Didn't See It Comin' - The Debut Album!
The Railways debut album is set for release on July 3, 2012! "Didn't See It Comin'"displays a thrilling new brand of soulful rock 'n" roll that calls to mind legendary rock bands of the past. With a new contemporary vision and red hot musicianship, The Railways are positioned to rise to the top of the ranks amongst peers like Jack White, The Black Keys, and Gov't Mule. They have successfully combined the soul-dripping influences of Bobby 'Blue' Bland and Donny Hathaway with the raw rock power of Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers Band. Like those bands, the active ingredient in the Railways 'cocktail of sound' is really strong songwriting. Few bands come out of the gates with such a potent catalog of original material. It's time for the world to get behind The Railways and help this music reach a mass audience. Play it loud!
    Biography
The Railways debuted at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles California on December 31, 2011. They craft a thrilling new brand of bluesy Rock n' Roll that should be the soundtrack to a Quentin Tarantino flick. It's fearless, soul-driven music that doesn't flinch in a gunfight. A set of original songs was unveiled at the Viper Room in February 2012. The band has since performed on stage with friends Duane Betts and Planet Of The Abts (Featuring members of Gov't Mule). Their debut album "Didn't See It Comin" was released in July 2012!
Adam Sizemore - lead vocals, guitar
Adam Sizemore's music career started off very quietly. A rare ear infection caused him to become deaf until the age of two. After surgery, he was finally able to hear and took full advantage of his new found gift. His family's love for music influenced and inspired him to pour his heart and soul into singing and songwriting. His powerful vocal style has attracted a lot of attention in the Los Angeles music scene. Over the years, Adam has recorded, performed and collaborated with many seasoned veterans such as Billy Preston (Beatles, Eric Clapton), Willie Hutch (Jackson 5, Shaft), and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters).
Johnny Stachela - lead guitar, vocals
The blues has a hold on a lot of musicians, but rare is the musician who has a hold on the blues. When Johnny plugs in his Gibson SG it becomes immediately clear that his intentions are to bring people together under the banner of quality, not mediocrity. His blues are a progression of the genre, and not a distillation. An experienced guitarist, bandleader, producer and songwriter; his emotionally-charged sound has caught the ears of many who admire his artistry. Stachela has recorded with Grammy Award winning producers Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin) and Gary Nicholson (Waylon Jennings, Delbert McClinton). He has also performed with such soulful artists as Jimmy Vivino, Jonny Lang, and Melissa Etheridge.
    Nick Amoroso - drums, vocals
When "heavy lumber" is required, Amoroso isn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and aim for the floor! His musical prowess has harvested performances on NBC's Late Show with Conan O'Brien, ABC's Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, and KRCW's Morning Becomes Eclectic with Nic Harcourt. He has backed country music icon Billy Ray Cyrus and toured across the United States with Austin, Texas alt-country rockers Shurman.
    Kevin Ogburn - bass, vocals
Originally from North Carolina, Kevin Ogburn has lived and worked in the LA music scene where he has enjoyed an active studio and live performance career since 1998. Kevin has performed at festivals all over the US and has toured with guitar great Blues Saraceno among others. He is the thunder and the glue that keeps the runaway train on the tracks.
