I hear you. I saw ZZTOP In a 3000 seat venue (Celebrity Theater, PHX,AZ) before they hit it big, which was only a few months later when I saw them headline a five band outdoor show. I’ve seen them many times throughout their career. They kicked ass every show. God Rest Mr. Dusty Hill.

Excellent performance. And, high praise to the steady-handed videographer for clear and smooth camera work. Still trying to translate the background voices.
It was a great viewing this video that brought me back memories of ZZTOP and Bill Joel live shows back in the day. Since my friend grew up with Billy in Texas, we got to socialize with him in the backstage and found him to be a real gentleman. No wonder everyone wanted to play with him!
Imagine writing a tune so pure and so simple that everybody knows it, recognizes it, loves it and is able to jam or solo to it. Doesn't matter if it's a guitar, a bass, a sax or a piano. La Grange is brilliant in its sheer simplicity, yet hard to match or master.
