    I challenge you to share this workout with at least 1 friend today and keep each other accountable to getting it done!!
    TAKE THIS WORKOUT AT YOUR OWN PACE! Instead of walking for the full 20 seconds of the “active rest”, we walk for 10 seconds, then jog for 10. If this is too much for you, maintain the walk.

    Todays’ workout is not one i would recommend doing every day. It’s a challenging one and will take a lot out of you. Doing it 1-2 times per week will be more than enough to see significant progress!
    I burned over 800 calories during this workout, but i want to encourage you to not focus on the calorie burn, rather, focus on your hormonal response to the food that you’re eating.
    What do i mean by this?
    Calories in vs calories out is true, yes it will help you lose weight, but if you are eating processed foods all the time, you are going to run into a hormonal imbalance that will block you from dropping fat even when your calories are lower and you’re burning lots of calories during your workouts.
    Focus on having whole foods in your diet - unprocessed foods. This will make a world of a difference and will make you feel so much better during and after your workouts (and you will see results MUCH sooner!)

    70 years, 27 days young. Yes, I’m wet from head to toe. But I did it. This will sound odd to many of you, but I’m doing this so I can say I did everything I could physically and nutritionally to die a healthy death. I don’t want to drag an oxygen tank behind me. I don’t want a sedentary life. I want grab the rest of my life by the ass and DANCE!!! Your body is a temple. Don’t screw it up, and listen to Jo! And DON’T YOU QUIT!!!     When I finished this workout I sat down and cried because this is the first workout I completed. I thought about giving up but I pushed through and I was just so proud of myself. I used to be almost 300 pounds and now I’m 154. I decided I wanted to get into shape and continue my weight loss journey and this just made me so emotional

      @@deniz-id1bh I would assume that they haven't lost a lot of weight yet. Weight loss takes time and it usually takes a few weeks to see any results! But if you keep going and eat a healthy diet you will get there eventually.

    When I started these workouts in May 2023, I weighed 198 pounds, and I was wearing size 16 pants. As of January 2024, I am currently 165 pounds and wearing size 10 pants, thanks to doing these workouts and maintaining a calorie deficit. I'm so grateful for these videos! Thanks Jo!

      I tried to have at least a 1000 calorie deficit! I was eating around 1,500 calories a day so I was just trying to burn at least 2,500 calories or more a day!

    Update: 10Aug2022 - so since my last update at 81kg. I have only lost 1 kg BUT I see a lot of body changes. I now have a waist and I have dropped from dress size 16 now to large cut 12. 14 is definitely too big. I have definition in my legs and bum too - no more flat bum. I’m really loving my new body and determined to keep going.
    I’m doing GWJ daily consistently. I love the workouts and I could just get straight in from months of not moving. I’ll be tracking my two week progress here to motivate someone 🤗Stats Female 5’2

    Day 2 (26May2022) - 88.0 kg

    And there we have it, I have lost a healthy 4.7 kg in two weeks just by moving at least an hour a day, cutting back sugar and drinking more water! I’m so hyped, I’m excited to see my body changes as well. My waist/hip ratio was just under one by a midge and then when I got measured yesterday it was 0.86. Definite progress.     I started doing her work outs on the 13 of January this year
    Starting Weight:150
    Goal weight:130
    ( it’s hard for me to loose weight on medication that makes it hard to loose weight and I’m short 5’1 😢)
    1-13=149.8(did 20 minute fat burn)
    1-14=147.8(did this one )
    1-15=( got stomach bug :( )
    1-16=(got worse) 146.6lbs(try exercising tomorrow)
    ( ok I fell sick I’m doing better now so I’m updating tonight )
    ( gained weight again.. weight tonight = 150.0)
    2-9= 150( did the 1 mile walk and drink green tea)
    2-10=148.6 ( the green tea helps 😭)
    2-11=( went on trip)
    2-12=(went on trip)
    2-13=(went on trip)
    2-14=149( doing the 5mile intense rip to me 😂 keep me motivated guys
    Just finished this it works if you listen to your own music I sweated so much and make sure you drink green tea it helps :) stay tuned for tomorrow guys see how much I lost !!)
    2-15=150 (I did eat something sweet lol but I be doing 5mile walk again :3 and no more sweets for me lol😂 ) ( I tried the10000 steps only did 20 minutes I couldn’t do it lol I died …. Bit off more than I can chew…. Gonna try and do this one again tomorrow body is burned. Out lol )

      @@writingsintheclouds do not think like that. I was constantly looking at how many calories everyone burned from the same exercise. But then I realized that even the calories I burn during the same exercise change. It varies depending on your energy that day, your current weight, and your general activity level. do not give up!

    (22/01/22):
    These are honestly the only workouts I can commit to, I have been doing them for 3 weeks now and there is such a huge difference. I went from 73kg to 68kg ( 5kg or 11lbs down) , it's so worth it!
    Update (13/02/22):
    I am now at 64 kg! Everyone has noticed the weight loss and I'm getting so many compliments, keep going guys! Also I recommend the 3 day egg diet if you're stuck at a certain weight or want a head start but only take walks or do light activity during this.

      @@Ambuskochany Próbowałam jeść w deficycie kalorii i odcięłam cukier oraz jedzenie które ma dużo kalorii np. fast food, chleb biały, ser, masło.... zamiast tego jadłam dużo warzyw, takich jak brokuły czy kalafior, ponieważ są bardzo niskokaloryczne.

    Girlllllllllllll i am sweating!!!! I am trying to loose weight but it's hard to find a workout that is knee friendly but still burns, this one is a masterpiece. I burned all in all 1006kcal and active 788 kcal. I am feeling exhausted but sooooooo proud. After 45 min I wanted to stop but your laugh kept me going. For all people: Do it and be the best version of yourself

      Sis can I ask you something? I don't have a fitness watch. If 80 minutes is equal to 1000 total calories then 40 minutes should be equal at least to 400-500 total calories am I wrong?

      @@bercemkoc Your actual calorie burn is going to depend on your intensity and your weight. If you enjoy following growwithjo workouts, just be consistent with the workouts, drink plenty of water, and eat balanced meals while limiting processed foods. You'll make progress :)

    I started this video on 4 September 2021 at 102kg, today 3 November 2021 I am now 87kg. I have done it 55 times and coupled with intermittent fasting eating starch and anything I want. I also like Steers king burger every Tuesday and pizza once in 2 weeks

    Last year, I started doing this workout everyday for like 5 months straight w a calorie deficit & lost 50 lbs. You make me so motivated girl, I love you & your workouts so much❤ they’ve helped me a lot !

    Took break for a few days(7days) *Got busy with work.
    Day 1 again- 75.9 kg (did 45min)

    Day 5 - 75.9 kg ( did 30min)

    2 things:
    I love how we see you struggle too, it feels human to see the water breaks and moments you stop momentarily. It shows us that this is a journey for everyone.

    I have been depressed since the beginning of the year and had a boat load of panic attacks. I actually still have recurring depression and attacks but, really this video is helping me forget it an hour a day. I don't have friends and you, Jo really help me.     I did this workout for 7 days straight and I lost 3 pounds this week. For about 2 months I was going to the gym for an hour but not focusing on cardio; I was probably doing about 15-20 min of cardio then going to weights and 20 min of mat exercises. THIS IS THE VIDEO! Now I have challenged my self to do it for 21 days and I love that it’s NOT boring

    WOW. I told myself "just make it half way" and you can do the full workout another day, but at the midway point the voice in my head told me to keep going, and I can't believe I did! It was so much fun. Ended up doing 5.37 miles, burned 746 calories with an average of 12 mins 41 secs per mile! Thank you so much Jo!

      @@paulinegrant7205 Sometimes it depends on your tracker and how tight it is. I had a tracker whose bpm went down when my heart was racing and went up at rest. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
      The amount of energy you put in may make it vary as well. Jo is bouncing and dancing, which may translate better tracker- wise

    OH MY GOD!! this workout will make you sweat like crazy. i know this video is pretty old but when i saw it i knew i had to do this. i'm relatively young so i could finish the video on day 1 but it was not easy. i wanted to stop midway but i continued by telling my self 'its fine it's just few more mins'. im hoping to lose weight and become healthier and happier. will do this every day except 1 day.
    guysss make sure to stay hydrated and don't over do it! YOU ALL CAN DO THIS!!

    Okay, I decided to share my results too. I've been working out with Jo for almost two months now. I started on August 26, and I was 101. The first week was the most terrible, my whole body ached and hurt (although I tried to do exercises for beginners), but I still got up and did an hour of exercises every day. From the second week I felt that my body was already getting stronger at this stage. So I increased time by another half an hour. I also chose a day or two for my body to rest a little.
    And honestly? I started training initially for only one purpose - to lose weight. But soon I realized that it's better to focus on getting your muscles stronger, so that your immunity improves. And it helped me not only to lose weight, but also to start treating my body with care, like a best friend.
    After the third week, I started doing workouts with Jo for two hours a day, and so that my muscles wouldn't ache so much, I started doing some cool down and stuff like that.
    To sum up, here are my results for 1.5 months:
    -6, 4 kg

    it's been 2.5 months
    -8 kg (and now im 93 yyay)
    I was 101, but now 93. I know that someone might say that this is a small result, but I am very proud of myself. Now I feel stronger than before, more confident in myself. I will continue to work on myself to become healthier and stronger.

      Thats insane! Trust me being 101 and going to 94 is insane too. It takes people weeks to lose one pound and up to months to lose as much as you did. That's about 7 pounds you lost. You are doing great:) stay positive

    You tubers are limited as far as the music they can use (copyright) so I put on my own New Orleans Bounce playlist. I sped up for a few moves and slowed down for a few others. I used my 3lb weights for a couple too. Some of the moves I couldn’t do because I have a partially torn left rotator cuff.
    Final thoughts: if you have 80 minutes and want to get a low impact full body workout - DO THIS! Thanks again JO!!! ❤️❤️❤️

      ​@@BishimDeja did you set up your watch completely? once set up the activity app should track steps on all apple watch models, but if its not displayed on the watch you have to view your steps via the activity app. Also if you cant see the steps on the watch face and you want to you can download a step counter to your watch.

    So I’ve been doing this workout everyday for 5 days straight (today is my 6th day) and in just 5 days, I lost 13 pounds. I’m also in a caloric deficit and I am intermittent fasting! I eat between 12pm until 8pm and after 8pm, I only drink water or my tea that helps with my PCOS. I eat very clean meals, smoothies, big fruit and veggie salads or big veggie salads, nuts, and I drink LOTS of water. I take an Apple cider shot on an empty stomach in the morning for blood sugar control. I made sure I was burning more calories than I was eating. I have PCOS, so it’s usually hard for women with PCOS to lose weight but the weight has been dropping. If you’re reading this, you got this! Keep going❤️ Thank you Jo 💫

      This isn't sustainable fam; slow and steady is the best way for long term results. Fasting, and restricting and heavy cardio isn't healthy...

      This is not healthy. To get muscle you need to eat at least 1700-2000 calories. Loose skin happens with only cardio and eat plenty of protein. Weight will drop, but muscle will be hard to attain.

      Okay good job and I'm so proud of you but I feel like 13 pounds in under a week is way too much to be losing. A healthy amount to lose each week is about 2.5 to 3 pounds according to my doctor.

    i love your workouts. i used to be 230, and now im 123. i struggle an ED but overtime i found healthier methods to lose weight and watching you has been one of them. im able to start eating again, and working it all off without feeling bad. i still do, and struggle but doing these have made me feel better when it comes to eating meals because i realized i can just work off some of the calories. i can finally not punish myself, thank you❤

      ⁠@@muminaali5215i got a nutritionist and i highly recommend it. i also eat by serving size.
      eat snacks if youre not able to eat a meal, because atleast youre putting something in your system, it took me so long to finally be able to eat, i took it slowly and started little, rice, bread, yogurt, oatmeal, bananas, any fruit really

      @@iamyayaa1715well i still struggle it bad, but at points i wasnt even eating for days on end, i had a support system around me helping me be comfortable with eating. it took about a year or two but i started slowly eating small things that i enjoyed. dont just eat random things, eat your favorite things. i think thats what helped me alot aswell. eat fruits, drink teas, remember itll be okay, and you will overcome it, it takes time

    I did one 20 minute exercise and this one for 7 minutes! And 33 seconds lol. So I’m total today I worked out 27 minutes 33 seconds! To a lot of you it may not seem like much, but I’m really proud of myself! 😊

    I miscarried twice and I gained weight due to eating crap. I was trying to forget about my pain, eating tones of chocolate and crisps. So after that, I was still sad and on top of it fat. I started working out and I found your channel ❤ you make me feel so motivated and I feel like you are my friend when working out with you. Even though I am still heartbroken after losing my babies I smiled seeing your baby's highchair ❤
    I feel great after finishing this workout and I love those little dance brakes 😍 you are a great person and know that you really help people ❤️ thank you 💗

    Had bariatric surgery 3 months ago and started doing these workouts. I am finally able to keep up now and am 3 months ahead of schedule of my weight loss! Love the energy and constant change of pace. ❤

    Hi, I have started Jo's workouts two weeks ago. In the first week i did the dance party workouts for five days. Don't know how much was my weight when i started. In the second week I weighted on Monday. Was 78,9 kg 😮😮😮. I realized that I had this weight 25 years ago during pregnancy. On Friday I was down to 76,8 kg😊. This keeps me motivated. But the biggest motivation I can get, is from you all!!!! Reading the progress keeps me going.. BIG thanks to Jo for the awesome workout vids and BIG thanks to you all❤ Keep going, WE ALL can reach our goals. (Sorry for my bad language skills)😅

    I have been consistently doing your workouts Jo, and I have never been happier!! My daughters usually sit with me doing their homework while I workout and the younger one (she's 5) keeps comparing my sweat level with yours. In fact if I look tired, she tells, 'Mom Jo is smiling. Look at her. You can do it."

    I just did this workout even though I was exhausted… I tried my best and even though some moves I definitely couldn’t go that fast (the squat bend for example, how do you make it so fast!😃🤷‍♀️), I am still proud for trying my best. Proud of everyone here! Much Love

    I did it and then I cried!!! Not because i was sore or tired but because i have M.E and i never thought that i would ever be active again ❤❤ its been 8 years since not being able to walk or stay awake, every year ive been better but still not able to walk very far or work, 2024 has been so much more progressive for me and i cant thank you enough Jo, i started your workouts a month ago and i am honestly so soo greatful 🎉

    I feel amazing! I started my weight loss two weeks ago (Feb 28 2024) and at the time I weighed 129 lbs. (bmi 22.0) Now, I weigh ~121.4 lbs! I’m hoping to continue losing weight until I look healthy. Thanks for this workout, because I feel really great after completing it. Lots of love ❤

    Always did those „hardcore“ workouts with burpees etc. and just couldn’t stay consistent with it, bc for me personally it was too much. Never did these „walking“ workouts, since I thought they wouldn’t give me the same result and wouldn’t be enjoyable. But woow gurl you prooved me so wrong!!🙏🏼❤️

      Exactly, lol. I did those earlier in my weight loss journey when i was in my 30s i was nicknamed burpee queen by my group of workout buddies but now at 41, i prefer the walks, lol

      Same! I did intense workouts for years. Taught high intensity zumba for about 8 years. Covid threw me completely off and her workouts are everything I need at 45. Im even getting up at 5:30 to workout with her and that was never me 😂I just don’t have the desire to jump and run anymore but I love a good sweat!

    i've been doing jo's workouts for about 6 months now. i've lost 14kg slowly nad gained some muscle weight. I went from an XXL to an L-M size. I have so much energy to play and enjoy my days with my kids now. Thank you so much Jo.

    In 2019 I had gotten up to 177 lbs (the same weight I was 20yrs ago when I was 9 months pregnant with my son) before starting this workout.
    Today, (thanks to this videos and a colorful nutrition plan) I am down to 154.8 lbs. 🎉
    My goal is 145lbs. We’re heading in The right direction and I can’t be more excited!!!! 🙌🏾💪🏾❤

    YOU ARE SO GOOD!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I have severe adrenal fatigue, insomnia, Hashimotos, etc.. and when I do have some energy but definitely not enough for my climbing machine, your workouts, esp this one are the best because im not out of breath completely causing myself more damage but i am breathing faster and I can really feel the different muscles being used AND I'm not exhausted afterwards today!😘🤗

    Thank you Jo!! I love your exercises, especially these walking workouts. I never really liked sports and exercising and I was overweight since I was a kid. I didnt feel satisfied with my weight, so I decided to start working out. Sometimes I feel like I really want to give up - I dont really have time, motivation and privacy, but then I remember why I am doing this. When I did this workout for the first time I felt proud of myself - it wasnt really hard, but I was still really sweaty and I had lots of fun. I watched videos from other youtubers and I did those 30 day challenges (I never finished them though😅🙁), but I feel like I can finally lose weight with your videos. Jo, you are an amazing woman and my inspiration. You look like such a kind person and I feel like you always have fun in these videos.     Just did this workout and burned 800 calories and did about 7500 steps! It honestly didn’t even feel like an hour workout because I was having fun! There are definitely intense parts where I was like OMG can I finish this!? But I did and I loved it.
    I’m a young mom of two little kids and I have done countless workout programs before. I usually just quit or don’t want to do them anymore because they are just so structured and strict. But these are my absolute favorites workouts I have ever done! I am always motivated and I actually enjoy doing them. It doesn’t feel like a chore or like.. ugh I have to do this. Thanks so much for motivating me to be healthy and strong for myself and my kids ❤️

    Hey everyone I am a person who has been trying to lose weight for a long time and build muscle and I have struggled with it a lot I am a 14 year old 220 pound and 5,7 so you can amagin what I look like I guess but thanks to Jo’s videos I have been able to have fun while I workout and while I didn’t finish this video because I am just starting and it’s getting to late for me to still be awake I would love to come back to this so I am so thankful to this CZcams channel and to all of you who leave words of encouragement

    Happy new year guys! I'm 75kg and trying to lose 10-15kgs for my wedding in June :> I want to try and do this workout at least 3 times a week alternating with other workouts. I will also try to eat at a calorie deficit with higher protein intake.
    Day 1 - 41 min, my head was spinning xD
    Day 2 - 51 min, still makes my head spin :(
    Day 3 - 66 min!
    Day 4 - Completed all! Took a lot of breaks but i made it 😭

    I've been following your workouts since November, and before, I couldn't do any of them for more than 15 minutes without ending up exhausted.     I always say this but this was the most CHALLENGING one yet!! Yet, SO FUN!!! Im in week 4 of working out with Jo and Ive started to see my weight drop finally!! i have less aches and pains in my legs and I just feel so great and happy that I accomplished and finished this. CONGRATS to everyone who finished this one!!!! WOO!!!
