I’ve never cut the foam on my two BCB boards. I switch out pedals too often. The pedals sit fine on top of the foam, unless you’re using a beastly wah or something. My wah sits outside my pedalboards.
Home improvement shops have rigid foam for floors. If you mess up, just get a couple of sheets and try again. Plus they come in a rainbow of colors....colours!
Awesome as usual! I was praying at the start of the video that you would put the Beetronics Royal Jelly on the board, i yelled with excitement when i saw it hahaha !
Nice video mate thank you... I’ve never been into pedalboards before but have been thinking of getting one built up for a certain purpose. I think I will go with this one for the simplicity of no external power supply and the neatness look of the foam. Subscribed, nice one mate 👌🏻
I used to have one of the 3 pedal versions back in the day and I think, rather than unnecessary repetition of board building, this is a really good compare and contrast with your other board.. something completely different that will appeal to other players.
I'd be too scared to make a mistake lol using something like this. Have fun with the GE7 though. I've also found that super tiny movements change your sounds massively. I learnt a lot from Wampler's videos on EQ-ing guitars, especially to make it sit better in mixes. There are some pretty good resources on YT and it just opens up so many options to your sound.
Re the foam comment:-I have ordered a bcb 30x for a backup board for my HX Stomp if I remove it from my main board. I ordered extra foam (3 in total) so can use it for various mini boards.
hei man! thank for the great content i've got the same one but still struggling to find out some replacement foam online for a second pedals layout. Can you help out? Do you have a link i can purchase it from? Thanks
Unfortunately I'm struggling to find replacement foam as well! My guy at boss is currently trying to source some from Japan. Sorry for the misinformation in the video, I was just relaying what I was told

That pedal is a beast!
I have just picked up one of these for my first pedal board and I'm going to use nothing but Boss Pedals in the build..... because I can.
Sounds killer!!!!

Thanks! Good luck on your pedalboard journey
Love the board I have a boss BCB 60 but running out of space I would love to get the BCB 90 which is really good . cool set up 😎👍🏻👊🏻
Would be good if boss sold the foam separately. That way we could use it for different setups

Do the patch cables sit on top of the foam inset or can you put them under like the daisy chain
You can get foam mats, tiles, anywhere 🍻
I have a pedal that requires 12v power. How would i incorporate that into this pedalboard?
What is the name of the material that you cut to fit in the various sizes of pedals?
Is there any noise at volume from the power supply?
Really like the sounds you work with in all your videos. Where are you based? Do you have a band?
Thanks man! No originals band on the go atm unfortunately
@@JacksonBrooksby That's too bad! Hopefully something comes up when gigs are allowed again
12:30 that’s the test 🤘🏽

Do you know what the squiggly red lines under your words mean?
Thanks man! I'll check those videos out

@@JacksonBrooksby no worries man!
I was told the same eheh
We’ll find out somehow..otherwise I’ll just buy a foam paper and cut it by myself :)
Aside from wahs/Whammy, I use all Boss pedals, so this would work pretty well for me.
Hi man, just going to build a board. Any advice on having a crybaby wah and chromatic tuner. Which would go first ?
Shouldn't matter too much which order they go in. Most Wahs are buffered I believe and same with a lot of tuners so either way would be fine.
@@JacksonBrooksby Thanks for the tip thanks . 👍
Boss and Red Bull Racing. Two of my favorite things! Subscribed.
Awesome! We can be friends 😂
How does the option works with the acoustic guitar? Is that just a reverb pedal?
Reverb and acoustic preamp in one ☺️
@@JacksonBrooksby thanks!
Dude you could build them for a living!!
Thanks Riley!
