- so we are all using the same pedal boards, BOSS have used the gain on this all in one solution, pedal board, case, power and cable management all in one.
Its super neat and is much lighter than a flight case set up whilst being mighty strong. let me know in the moments sbwlow what you think?
see y'all in the next one. - Hudba
Good video, answered some of my queries on this board ✌️👌🍻
I had a bcb60 for a while (many moons ago) nice product for keeping things simple.
🤘 I know this is video is old but I just got into guitar and effects and I just started collecting boss pedals and was looking for a nice basic setup like this kick butt demo and explanation. You keep rocking 😎🎸
Thanks man, and welcome to the community brother!!!!
We used these for years and Dave still does! Great case/boards! Specially if you get more foamy foam and cut to shape for wah's etc!
Foamy foam is the way. 🤘🧟♂️🤘
Yes and Boss sells replacement foam for like $15 bucks if you need it.
This looks very similar to the Behringer PB1000. If its designed and produced by the same people that's a GOOD thing! I have two PB1000s and they've lasted the last 15 years and still going strong!
Gorilla tape - no band can survive without it. Nice looking case, integrated power supply, neat cabling = win/win...
Verry good vidéo, thanks 👍
Thanks Roberto 🤘🧟♂️🤘
Great pedalboard. Just the right size for me. I use 9 Boss pedals(DD-3T, Super Chorus, Multi Overtone, Reverb/delay, DS1 distortion, Super Overdrive, TU3 tuner, Fuzz, Compressor, plus my small amp channel switch and a Morley 20/20 Wah-Volume pedal off the board. Great little rig. I sold my Pedaltrain Novo 24 to get the 90X. Much happier with the 90X. Much more simple to use and safer for my pedals.
It's perfect and keeps ya pedals in tip top condition. Mine has flown everywhere and has took some big hits. Just keeps going. 🤘🧟♂️🤘
@@PaulGlover Yeah, I decided I liked it better then the Pedaltrain I was using.
Brilliant video I've ordered one of these for my boss bass pedals I'll probably only put 8 in how did you install the daisy chain supply did you have to snake it or is it long enough to fit from one pedal to the next and was it noisy I'm a bit concerned about my boss overdrive hissing stay safe take care
Yeah dude there us a channel under the foam, just needed a little tape, but was really easy. It runs super quiet man. I love this pedalboard. 🤘🧟♂️🤘
Thanks for the video - it's great. I am thinking of picking one of these up. I have 3 boss pedals (DD8, BD2, DS1) but also some non Boss pedals (MXR Phase 90, EH Big Muff (full size), EH Small Clone) - will this board fit the larger pedals too and also power them? The only other pedals I'd possibly add is a Boss tuner and a compressor. Cheers
Yeah buddy its great, cause you can cut the board to suit any pedal. Thanks for the kind words mate, this board is so so clean. 🤟🧟♂️🤟
@@PaulGlover Cheers mate. Thanks for the quick reply. Keep making great content.👍
Hey man great video, I just have one question. Would you recommend this for a intermediate/advanced guitarist? Or would I need something smaller/bigger?
This is a good medium-sized board - not small, not huge. I’ve used a pair of the older BCB-60 boards for many years and I love them. While my friends stick their pedals onto their more expensive boards with Velcro or ties, I use these and can switch out pedals without hassle. I’ve never cut out the foam. I set the pedals on top of it and the foam holds them all in place while hauling. I’d only cut into it if I were going to add a wah or other larger pedal, but I set up my wah outside the board anyway. A Boss volume pedal fits nicely inside without cutting. In the older version I used the cable channel at the top. I won’t use them in this one. (I switch out pedals too often.) I think this is as professional as anything out there, and no Velcro necessary. I’d only go with an Anvil-style pedalboard if I was doing heavy touring, and then probably just to cover the BCB. Peace!
@@richietownsend6737 thanks mate
Nice video. May I ask if the daisy chain makes a lot of noise? I be having around 1800mah total using GT1000 and additional digital and analog pedals.
No mate this board is very quiet and I've uses it in a number if different sized venues and it has been brilliant 🤘🧟♂️🤘
Thank you for the review! Have you noticed any RF interference now that you are using it?
No dude seems dead silent man. 🤟🧟♂️🤟
Hey very cool. I see you have the Via VLD1. Would that fit in the BCB-90X?
With some cleaver tetrising, there is a foam insert that could be cut to accommodate any pedal really. 🤘🧟🤘
Can you run your drives into the front of the amp and your time based effects in the loops? The information in the manual is very vague
Yes there is a loop send return. It's a very cool little box. 🤘🧟♂️🤘
Would I be able to fit my me80 in there? Asking for future possibilities.
Yeah dude the foam can be cut to any size so you can fit most units in. It's a great case, one of my faves
Man i wish you could see my rig, rg7321 me80 and a micro cube, for 3 watts its amazing, i want to get another cube before playing in the streets. Whats your wah of choice?
@@dsrecords22 iam a Morley 20/20 guy dude. The bad horsey 20/20 is a beast
@@PaulGlover are th
ey optical cuz thats what im looking for
Whats the deal with the daisy chain? I seem to only ever hear that daisy chaining is the less optimal way of powering the pedals as opposed to getting a power supply that can isolate the signals, but is there anything specific about this set up that lends it to being quiet?
Independent power is always better but expensive, daisy charming with a psu can get noisey. This has a great power unit so I have had no noise and the signal is strong on the way out. As always use the best patch cables and a good psu to power the board. 🤘🧟♂️🤘
@@PaulGlover Thats really helpful thank you! I don't suppose there was any patch cables you would recommend?
@@robertsgoswell iam really digging the Crosby audio solderless 🤘🧟♂️🤘
Hi what is the preamp used for ? Is it for gain ?
No that's my amp, I go our to frfr or front of house 🤘🧟🤘
It’s not much of an improvement. I know Behringer do a 12 pedal board that’s slightly bigger. I have two of the BCB60s. I hate when people Velcro pedals to boards as it rips the labels off the Boss pedals.
It's it's ot broken don't fix it. BOSS have always known how to make a convenient solution to pedal boards and this is an iteration rather than a reinvention. I love it as I've never owned a BOSS pedal platform before.
As for the velcro, yeah just add it to the rubber section and you save your label and you don't have your pedals jumping all over the gaff on a tour. Win win. 🏆
Mortician!!!!!!!!!!!! dun dun dun....dun dun dun.....No more room in hell
What kind patch cable you use?
Daddario solderless ones buddy 🤘🧟♂️🤘
how about the noise?
Zero. It works great, I've used the boss psu and a one spot and it's brill
