Excellent overview of the board's features. Best review I've found yet.
Really useful, detailed video. Thanks Ben.
£175 is expensive but it seems like a good quality pedalboard.
Really nicely done! Great vid.
Very Informative! Thank you!!
Thanks for this video it's very helpful
Thank you. It seems like you.put a lot of effort into your videos.
You need more of that foam. Because sooner or later you will want to change your configuration. So where can you get it? 2nd: The locking clips definitely will break sooner or later - they should be made of much more solid material than plastic.
Thank you !
My only gripe is they should have made it possible to tuck the lid under it and clip it on to the underside, so you can both secure the lid and raise (and possibly tilt towards you) the pedalboard.
I really don't want to be worrying about the lid when I am gigging.
Boss boy. I dig it.
Hi! Is it safe to use the BCB-90 provided daisy chains to power up the RC-500?
Its nice if they can have an option to have a backpack straps ...
Does anyone remember the Tee shirt by Boss that said step on it. It had a shoe print and some of their pedals. Well.... I learned don’t wear it at a biker party. Even though I was in the band playing there.
Nice video. One question: if I need to put a volume boost pedal in the line, where do I put it, using this pedalboard ?
Happy to see you get your video sponsored by Boss. I think they have recognized that you are a serious CZcamsr and that your videos are well done and very informative. Can't wait to see the small pedal board as well.
Pure ∆ ♥️
So my pod go is 3.5 inches high do you think the lid would close. Specs say the board is 4.5 inches high so it would seem so.
How long of cable do u need to go from top row to bottom
so since there is one power cable: if that's damaged, all sound gone unlikely donner style power supplies right?
Didn't see you connect the rc500 looper in the chain?
I see you're adding an OC-5. I love it. Are you unhappy with the octaver effect from the GT1000 Core?
Hey Marco! No Octave is great on GT-1000 Core. In fact sometimes it’s been better for certain setups! I just really like having access to the OC-5 without having to waste an assign switch on the GT-1000 CORE. Hope this helps!
Yes it does. Thanks. I also found an overtone effect that works well too if you keep only the lower settings active. Thanks Ben. Keep it up. Great channel!!
Marco Nazzicone when you turn the range knob all the way to the left on the OC-5 and you play a chord, it only applies the octave effect to the lowest note of your chord. Does the GT-1000 range function behave the same way?
When is the official US release date?
Great video 😊👌can I use bcb90 for boss gt 1000?
Not too sure? Wether the GT-1000 maybe too large? I haven’t tried it, as I only have the CORE. Maybe check Roland Backstage where you can ask question to BOSS Product Specialists. They maybe more helpful for this one. Cheers Ben
Yes you should be fine. I know GT-1000 fits in the new BCB-1000 which is slightly smaller (width and depth) than the BCB-90X.
Been waiting over a month for my BCB-90 from Sweetwater. Now they are telling me i might have to wait another month. Finally had to go to another source for my Boss pocket GT. Why is Sweetwater haveing such a hard time gettin Boss to send anything to one of the biggest sellers of music equipment in the USA???
My only camplaint is the supplied powere cable doesn't fit my in WahWah. Kind of annoying.
I believe the old version of the BCB 90 came with all the patch cables you would need. Not cool that the newer version comes with less.
ive got the 90x Is there anyway to go to the front of my amp with certain effects and using the loop for time based effects WITHOUT using the Boss 1000?
Think this guy answers your question..czcams.com/video/ughEqBmRPP0/video.html
@@mixodorians12 Watched it twice, did not get an answer … can you be more specific ?
So it’s a daisy chain and not isolated power?
Has anybody else had any noise/hissing issues with the 90X ?
Is the PS isolated? If not your asking for trouble with those digital pedals...
@@jmd87311 Not all venues are the same... Wait till you get into A noisy place..
@@jmd87311 a good PS will alleviate all issues plus you can mess with hitting your pedals with different voltages. I never liked using a noise gate. Plus, It takes up a spot on the board. You can also uses the PS as a riser in the back row.
I'm a little worried about the ground loop noise caused by the daisy chain. Shouldn't these digital pedals require isolated power?
I have the board myself and was worried about that myself but now I have it I can assure you it has no noise whatsoever very impressive
Yeah thankfully no worries with noise,I used the 60x which had no noise either. This time round I bought a MXR ISO brick instead of the daisy chain only because I have pedals with different milliamps requirements, but even that fit with 8 pedals including big ones like the eq200 and dual foot switch. I also reckon the ISO brick may help in case you get any humm through your amp that should do it and not use much space.
That is one sick rig! I do like home made though 👍
Are the pedals screwed on the board? What holds them in place? The foam? No way!?
@@deaddoll1361 yes, I watched the video, did you missed the "no way!?"? Did you bother to think and read properly before comment?
Boss needs to get better editing software for the RC series.
Would a Cry-Baby Wah pedal fit on this board?
Under 17k subscribers and they supplied you for a commercial? Dang.
Poor dude, young n' stupid, make a misstake, a serius and now his life is going to hell.
This is very sad.
thumbs DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to many Commercials !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@stephenlennartz3466 actually I thought one has control over one's channel. OR am I wrong ??
Slow down
Looks a lot like the Berringer PB1000
