I agree with you in regards to the 2 of Cups being what represents to me the romantic or soul mate aspect of love in the Tarot and The Lovers being Choice. 😀

excellent choices! thank you so much, looking through my decks I prefer the gentle love aspect of this card (the Lovers card does not appear a lot in my readings, suggesting that unconditional love is not an easy thing to find, nor feel...letting go of one's will in favour of love is no easy task...), thus my favorite cards are:
1. Aquarian Tarot
2. Jordan Tenchev
3. Forest of Enchantment
4. Ethereal Visions
5. The Little Prince Tarot
Also, I completely agree with you that 2 of Cups indicates better this type of gentle love, the Lovers card being more complex, having the quality of being able to indicate numerous levels of not only love, but of diplomacy and political alliances too (as seen in the Renaissance Love card or in the Dotti card - marriage because of duty to produce an heir)
Oooooohhh! I love your choices for the 'gentle love aspect' of Arcanum VI, Alexandra! And it's so great to see the Forest of Enchantment and the Little Prince Tarots mentioned again in your Top Tarot Trumps! 😻💖
How interesting that the Lover(s) card does not appear often for you in your readings! It shows up so often in mine... but then I link it to choices/decision-making; and I am at times an indecisive person and often ask tarot about which options would be favourable for me in my day-to-day situations.🥰

You picked such lovely cards to showcase Arcana 6. I also really enjoyed listening to the history of this card. Thank you for sharing you knowledge with us.
Two of my favorites are Love from the Spiritsong Tarot-the wolves seem to have many choices about paths to run down. The next is from the Wild Unknown, Lovers- the Geese flying, choosing to fly anywhere. Towards land or water, somewhere else? I like to see choice somehow in Arcana 6.
For love readings I like to see the 2 of cups and the Queen of cups. A mature, steadfast connection, that can withstand the storms of life. :)

I really like the artwork on the Buddha Tarot, but it's the next level of the choice,isn't it? Such a difficult situation. I might read it as a man who chooses his career over his family. The Robledo card is my favorite. ❤❤
