Important CORRECTION: In this video The ORIGINAL Pierre Madenié 1709 Tarot de Marseille Marco used as his reference is kept in the National Swiss Museum in Zurich (not in the National Library of France as I mentioned by mistake😉.. or perhaps due to much excitement on my part! 🥰 Or, I may have been testing your memory… 🤭😎).

I've just begun taking notice of my Nicholas Conver re-done by Ben-Dov. Showing these 2 decks came at a perfect time so much appreciated. I think I prefer not only the blues of the Payen but also the characters' eyes which seem to me to be truer to the depth of human character. Gorgeous shuffling sounds!

Such a fabulous comparison between Type1 and 2 TDM .. I must admit although both editions from Marco are exquisite I do have a leaning towards Type 1 TDM in general. The faces and slightly more "rustic" dress make the Payen a firm favourite. As always Marco gives us the most amazing decks to chose ; I am loving his Nicola Navarro deck right now ,again sumptuous colours and a wonderful naivety to the pips. 😃Thanks for sharing Mascha...a wonderful video.
