INGREDIENTS
For the Empanada Dough:
5 Cups of All purpose flour ( 700g )
5 tbsp of sugar. (62.5g)
2 tsp of baking powder. (10g)
1/2 tsp of salt. (3g)
1 1/2 cup butter. (339g)
1/2 cup cold water. (118g)
For the Filling
550g chicken breast
3 pcs small potatoes
1 medium size carrot
half red capsicum
1/2 cup green peas
5 gloves garlic
1 medium onion
olive oil
knorr chicken cube
ground black pepper
1/3 cup water
skyflakes crumbs or plain biscuit crumbs
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
seasoning
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 egg for eggwash

Para la masa de empanada:
5 tazas de harina para todo uso (700g)
5 cucharadas de azúcar. (62,5 g)
2 cucharaditas de levadura en polvo. (10 g)
1/2 cucharadita de sal. (3g)
1 1/2 taza de mantequilla. (339 g)
1/2 taza de agua fría. (118 g)
Para el llenado
550g de pechuga de pollo
3 piezas de patatas pequeñas
1 zanahoria mediana
medio pimiento rojo
1/2 taza de guisantes verdes
5 guantes de ajo
1 cebolla mediana
aceite de oliva
cubo de pollo knorr
pimienta negro
1/3 taza de agua
migas de copos de cielo o migas de galletas simples
1 cucharada de salsa de ostras
1 cucharada de salsa de soja
Condimento
2 cucharadas de azúcar morena
1 huevo para lavar huevos

3 petites pommes de terre
1 carotte de taille moyenne
demi poivron rouge
1/2 tasse de pois verts
5 gants d'ail
1 oignon moyen
huile d'olive
cube de poulet knorr
poivre noir moulu
1/3 tasse d'eau
miettes de skyflakes ou chapelure de biscuit nature
1 cuillère à soupe de sauce aux huîtres
1 cuillère à soupe de sauce soja
assaisonnement
2 cuillères à soupe de cassonade
1 œuf pour le lavage des œufs

10:03 1/3 cup water
10:07 2 tbsp brown sugar
10:21 cover and cook for 5 minutes
10:36 add capsicum
10:47 1/2 tsp seasoning
11:06 1/4 cup skyflakes crumbs
11:24 turn off the heat
11:41 let it cool down
11:46 empanada dough
11:52 put the filling
12:18 use fork to seal the empanada
12:26 repeat the process
13:19 brush with egg wash

Yes the dough can be frozen for up to 3 months. Make sure it is well wrapped with plastic and placed in a freezer bag. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
Then rest on counter 10 minutes before using. If the dough gets to warm and soft to handle return it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
I frozen many kinds of dough this way. It’s handy to have frozen specially when it’s needed immediately. I also prefer all unsalted butter in my dough.
