I mean the hairstyle they chose for cassandra on the second game is a little bit ridiculous too if you ask me lol. Still, Cassandra is way better in the sims 2
Well it is set in a different universe (and lbr a much more cartoony version of the Sims, gameplay and visual-wise). My personal opinion is that it's a parody world. So where Cassandra was a bit reserved, she's now full-on emo. It's just a parody universe, which I think was (in a major form) created by the aliens that abducted Bella.

The first mod I downloaded was the graveyard mod. WHAT IS WRONG WITH EA?!

MICKIE GEE omg what I used to do in the sims 3 was go to the grave yard at night and just make friends with ghosts and you know just hang with them and try Figure out how they died and their family. Can’t believe the sims 4 don’t have it though!
Because sims 4 is catered more to kids, that would scare them so they were removed along with burglars.
Everytime you talk about the sims 4’s timeline I get so sad....they legit don’t care about the amazing stories that were told on the previous games smh alternate universe my arse- they need to do better.
Yeah they pretty much just used the opportunity to cash in on these iconic characters instead of doing anything interesting with them :/
That’s EA for you, Maxis deserves more creative control, they’re the ones who gave the series so much soul in the first place.
Sorry to break this to you but a majority of people who play sims give a fuck about premade families. I know I don't and a majority of other people also doesn't. I just see no point in playing as them since I can just make my own sims, and premade sims only take the precious space.
Viktor Chmiel Thats a sike on you, because there’s such a thing called accommodation and the company can easily accommodate for the people who invest in franchise sims. It’s not that hard to put thought into premades because not EVERYONE wants to waste their time creating 150 sims to fill the world up. I know I don’t always want to be bothered and that’s the same for a lot of people.
Naeshu J yeah exactly. I enjoy the premades so much because they give us a chance to explore stories and expand on them. I’m making a pleasantview machinima series rn because of how fantastic that mystery is! I love the sims 2 for that! Letting us explore these characters that should have given more attention to in the future games!
Okay, Theory.
After Bella went missing, Mortimer married Dina, just how the game intended. Dina wasted all of the familys money, mistreated Alexander and after Mortimers death completely destroyed the familys standing. This made Alexander dedicated to get into the scientist career his family is known for and find a way to go back in time. He succeeds and ends up writing books about his mother in hopes she would read them and won't be abducted this time. Alexander doing this changes the path of time and erases the Sims 2 timeline, which now changes to the Sims 4 timeline in which Bella was never abducted.

The thing with Bella dropping off Alexander at college is really creepy.
Considering that she is supposed to be missing but is still coded in, maaaaaybe we can pretend that alexander is just imagining her dropping him off.

Happy to find your channel. I love sims lores. It's also worth mentioning that Mortimer associates Bella's abduction as a 'good' memory and not a bad one as it is green, in Sims 2. I always thought there was something more to that.

Well, that's a memory all knowledge sims get anyway. It's always green for them. Imho it has nothing to do with the plot.
There’s a theory Plumbella brought to my attention recently, that says Bella and Mortimer we’re separated. Could be why he saw it as a good thing?
I love the Addams Family and Munster family references, with the Goths. I was sad that Sims 3 did not give Witch qualities to the Goth family, initially, in the lore. Thank goodness this is fixed with Supernatural and Create-A-Sim. #mods

I love how sims 1 , 2 , and 3 had all of these backstories readily available to fall in to soon as you started the game for the first time ; especially 2 . I played sim 2 for yearss. Sims 4 is trash . It can’t be real sim fans working there . It just can’t be .
I generally pair Cassandra up with Darren, Don just ends up alone in my game lol

Now I'm playing them and got Cassandra married to a townie of her choice (she went to a community lot for that). Eventually, her chosen one's facial features look oddly similar to her brother's (when he grows up into an adult). Yikes.
I've done the same thing. Alexander lives with them after Mortimer dies. He and Dirk readily become the best of friends and Alexander is raised right alongside Dirk and the children Cassandra and Darren have together. It's heartwarming to see Alexander have a happy adolescence as part of a loving family even after the loss of both of his parents.
Wow, as soon as you mentioned about Bella being kidnapped, I immediately thought of the Book in the Sims 3 called "Where's Bella?"
I didn't know that the characters in this game had stories :O may have to keep my eyes open while playing
they all have interesting storylines specially in the sims 2/3
Weirder still, the author of “Where’s Bella?” is Alexander Goth
i love the sims 4 because they really allow you to be creative with cas and build mode but the lore and gameplay are SEVERELY lacking compared to other games. as someone who's only played sims 4 i would've never known about all this lore if it weren't for videos like this talking about it.
I’ve had Don run off on Cassandra , I’ve had Don marry Cassandra . I married Cassandra and Darren . I married Mortimer and Dina , then Don with Nina. Then I made Daniel pleasant marry Katelyn After getting caught cheating by Mary sue . I play sims 2 in so many different ways. Multiple saves multiple outcomes . 😂

The Specters is the creepiest in my opinion.
I was thinking this was too supernatural then I remembered the sims upgrade the toilet by hitting it with a hammer and now I’m not questioning anything ever again
Graveyards always were fun for me in TS3. I played on console with TS3 Pets alot of the time and it was so fun to meet ghosts, especially pet ghosts like Pixel Piper.
I'm not secure about it, but I think that there's another book in the Sims 3 called "Where is Bella?" and it's also written by Alexander Goth

Bella Goth and Don would make beautiful children. Also, Cassandda and Don. I know that it's not right that they marry, but sometimes I enjoyed playing Cass and Don as much as moving Dina in with Mortimer. (rather than moving Mortimer and Alex in with Dina like the game sets up)

I was playing Sims 2 last night, and all of this happened. I threw a wedding party for Don Lothario and Cassandra Goth. I invited The Caliente sisters, Mary-Sue Pleasant, Kaylynn Langerak, Darren Dreamer, Mary Mayola, and Daniel Mayola (the last two are Sims I made and Daniel is a child lol). I had Cassandra and Don kiss because I knew the other ladies would get mad at Don. Well, one of the Calientes slapped Don. Then, apparently Cassandra saw Darren and fell in love with him. Somehow, Don figured that out, and the game says that Cassandra cheated on Don with Darren, was caught by Don, lost Don as a best friend, fell in love with Darren, and had two loves at once. Then, Don, despite HIS OWN situation, had THE NERVE to slap Cassandra for this. They became enemies. Then, I decided that since Cassandra and Darren were in love and this was a wedding party, we were going to have a wedding, so Darren and Cassandra got married. Darren’s son moved in. Don and Darren got in a fight, but Darren lost and they became enemies. I did not expect all of this to happen, but I saved my game after this.

When I first loaded the goth household, I could never make Don leave Cassandra for some reason. I had to drag their relationship all the way down with cheats to get him to leave her at the altar like I wanted
woah same goes for me well my game don only leaves cass when i play the goth family first but if i play the lothario household before the goths don wont leave cassie at the altar which is kinda annoying...
@@darchelmacaroyo184 yeah it's because if you play don first, his lifetime relationship with cassandra rises enough overnight. If you play cassandra first, it doesn't get the chance. Their relationship is like right on the edge lol

Cassandra isn't black, she just gets tan really easily, because her mom(Bella) is south european

@@KanadzuMirikoo46 she could have just lost some of the tan, I also get tan really easily and when I went to Italy for a week my skin was as dark as Cassandra's in Sims 2, but when I was back home and it was winter and I spent most of my time inside my skin was as light as Cassandra's in Sims 4

The goths were always suppose to be white. Bella is Italian/greek so her skin would be on the tanner side but EA couldn't convey that before because there were 4 skin tones in the sims 2

In my play throughs I always play Alexander as gay. It just seems like that’s how it should be, I don’t know. Even when I played with Mortimer and Bella in the Sims 3, and Alexander was born as a female, I still had them pursue same sex relationships.
I didnt understand the concept of this family until i watched Addam's family.

Maybe there is another as of yet unknown relative of Mortimer Goth whose name is also Alexander who wrote those books.

I never allow Dina to marry Mortimer in the sims 2... instead, I have Cassandra catch Don cheating with Dina and she dumps him and Mortimer breaks up with Dina too.
