I actually have downloaded the Maid skin and head to make her playable Sims for my own in Sims 1, really fun and I love how she looks🥰
The Sims 2, (just recently redownload the Sims 2 and started a new playthrough after years) Daniel Trevlig and Mary-Sue had a great and healthy marriage and had a high relationship but Daniel and Katrin Långö (Swedish names🤣) did had a affair and Daniel's wife, Mary-Sue caught them and divorced Daniel as he and Katrin moved to another house and got a new baby while Mary-Sue stayed behind and found aswell a new love from a co-worker while she's now elder, lol.

Nikki Nova Agree, The Sims 1 was HARD. I never knew it when I was a kid, because I was playing it with cheats. But recently I've decided to install it in German to aid me with learning German language, and realized how bloody hard it is to keep your Sim afloat there, at least at first, when they don't bring back home much money. Oh, the number of times I sold the recently bought table so my Sim could eat!..
@@LadyMontane lmao!! There are still modded items for help with needs. I downloaded some plants that you put in the room that will keep your needs half filled. Sims 1 is HARD. I don't see how I was playing successfully at 12 years old 😆

Kaylynn definitely thought it was okay for a man to cheat on his wife if she's always working because she saw what happened to her household growing up so she sympathized with Daniel. Maybe her dad cheated with the aunt 👀👀

Ive never had a maid in the sims 4 that looks like the sims 4 maid you showed but i wish i did. I always get randomly generated maids and they dont wear cute outfits. The sims 4 has no personality 😔

On a side note, almost all the butlers are elders, yet in my first baby challenge save file, when my matriarch hired a butler, her butler was an adult with dreadlocks and the evil trait, and he was the best butler I ever had, I had my matriarch marry him when she became an elder. It disappoints me that I can't seem to get another butler like that.
I had Mary-Sue lock Kaylynn in the garden shed after finding her with Daniel, they say she starved to death..

The fact Bonehilda is officially back in the Sims 4 with the Paranormal Stuff pack makes me glad.

The only family I used to play in the Sims 3 was the Langeraks and I never realized the child grew up to be Kaylynn the maid from Pleasantview. Zelda the aunt was the true star of that family

In TS3 a maid Kate Pistachio is kleptomaniac so you should watch after her! Edit: Lol found out that actually most of the maids in TS3 share the kleptomaniac trait XD
One nice bit of detail in sims 3 is that the Langerak family are shown to have blonde hair/genetics. This is a good way of explaining why Kaylnn's children tend to have blonde hair on the Sims 2 (the game that came out before sims 3)
In the Sims 2, she's actually coded as naturally blonde and the black hair is just dye.
In sims 3 Kate Pistachio always tries to flirt with the dad of the house.
Can't deny, she is pretty but still.
She is the only maid I remember from Sims 3
The only Sims game I've never played is The Sims (1) but this video makes me think I've missed a lot
Regina Cordium If you can find a way to make it work on your pc it’s totally worth having a play on it. It’s very basic, probably not really worth playing without all the expansions packs, the expansions packs were awesome though . However the sims need to eat like 5 meals to feel full 😅
@@margotalmanzar5210 plus it's much easier to play TS1 with mods/hacks, if you can still find any. The game can be a little tough without, but still worth playing if you want the full experience.
It's a great game if you look at it as the pioneer that it was. That newspaper girl's whistle will be ingrained in your head for the rest of your life 💛
@@randombrokeperson Also, some of the simlish in TS1 was a bit different than in the rest of the games. Very easy to have that ingrained in you for life too. XD "myshuno!" "fee fee now!" "nu paaalaaa! Oh neh nah ki ki la!" And the burglar & fire sounds.

I always thought the maids were randomly generated sims with no traits/details. The fact that I'm just now learning they're not is blowing my mind.
Also, Bonehilda trying to drink and just ending up making puddles is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. I haven't toyed with TS4's paranormal version of her yet, but if she doesn't do that, I'm going to be so upset...
Speaking of funny maid names - alongside Anne T. Septik in Twinbrook, there's a male maid named Ty Dee (tidy).
Bonehilda is the best maid, always was! She goes into all my Sims households rather than calling those lazy klepto's the agency sends. Fun fact, whenever there's a birthday party in a house, Bonehilda stops work and gets a slice or two of cake to eat. She will also give baby a bottle in the crib.

I had to keep dismissing her though because she kept waking the baby at night and feeding them when they weren't hungry 😅

Not really? Her parents don’t seem unhappy in their marriage, and Dustin is a stay at home dad and doesn’t have any affairs with anyone. The only similarity between the two couples is.. nothing? The only common thing is that both Mary Sue and Iliana are workaholic, but otherwise Iliana and Dustin’s relationship is fine. Though I did many times break their relationship just to have Dustin marry my sim LMAO.
Also, her family is kinda wealthy.. why did she grew up to be a housekeeper??

I think it's more common to use her as a lover for drama purposes.
I had daniel leave mary sue for her, only for her to have 2 boys with him, then leave him with the kids for another sim I created. Then that sim left her for another sim lol. Finally she settled down and married a guy and they were together till the end. Daniel ended up with an npc after kaylin left and they were together till he died and his widow married beau broke after he passed. My sims went wild on my save!
I did! Actually when I was 9 and Sims 2 first came out I didn't really pay much attention to the different storylines and thought she was really pretty, so I would make her marry Don and they'd have a daughter together. Eventually they'd divorce when he cheated on her with Nina and she'd become a single mom. A few times I had her marry Gilbert Jacquet and they'd open a home bakery together. I'd make her family have many different generations.
This is an excellent video. I miss Bonehilda so much. In MM, she had a side hustle in Magic Town community lots as a janitor.
With the time discontinuity in Kaylynn's age, I wondered if Kaylynn died young, and when Parker later had a daughter and names her Kaylynn in her honour. She grows up hearing about her aunt's neatness and perfectionism and that rubbed off on her a bit, so she became a professional cleaner.
That's my headcanon too; Sims 3 Kaylynn being Sims 2 Kaylynn's aunt. I even named the son she had with Don, Parker.

I think S3 maids are kind of expensive (almost 18 simoleons per hour), but I always visit the future right off, and the winning lotto ticket more than covers it! Even if my sim is in college, they can afford a maid.

ok listen, I dont know if I misremember, since I play Sims 2 in english now, but I swear, in the german version of the game, one of the maids was called "Landgraab", like the Landgrab family. I only remember that, because I always thought it was so weird, that a member of this rich snob family would work as a maid. I was wondering about that, when I watched your video about Landgrab family, but since it neither came up there, nor here I assume its just a translation issue, were Langerak was just turned into Landgraab, but I still think its interesting nonetheless
Well Landgraabs aren't beyond disowning a family member if they're not up to the family's reputation. In Sims 4, there is a sim living in a trailer and his bio states he's been disowned by the Landgraabs themselves.

I could have sworn they included Bonehilda in Jungle Adventures....When you activate certain artifacts, Bonehilda will come for a short period of time to take care of your home. But it would be nice for her to come in buy mode....

In the Sims 2, you can add a maid as household member, a glitch that happened is that when I went to Neighborhood Mode and looked. She was naked. ;-; anyways on the Sims 2 (PC) You can add a Maid Sim only by flirting I think.
I married one of the butlers but when we got married he stopped cleaning my house and everytime I tried to call him he was at work, I couldn't even divorce or kill him because he legit just left the game. I guess I really really scared him off.
sims 1,2,3: can list several pieces of lore and numerous characters from sims 1,2,3
sims 4: uhm.. they don’t charge you in dorms. that pretty neat i guess
They're all randomly generated in the Sims 4, unlike the Sims 1, 2 and 3 where they were predefined so there's no lore behind them in TS4

The first time I ever tried to kill a maid was on Sims 2 for console. I loved watching them pull out and jump though their pocket black hole, so I kept doing it lol.

Yeah I killed Lucy in one of my created neighborhoods. Set up a toilet in the back of a house, got it dirty and when she went to clean it I put up a small fence and some bush's around her trapping her. It was one of my first neighborhoods and was amused that she couldn't step over a simple small bush and fence. It was also funny watching my Sim play darts why she goes crazy because she can't leave.

Have you heard of the Sims Online? I recently started playing it. It was closed in 2008 but a fan reopened a free version in 2017! Anyways, there’s a maid NPC named Gertrude I believe? I would definitely look into it! ☺️❤️
I have had the slob maid and she cleaned nothing beyond the first room of the house where the front door is but honestly I have never had a good maid in Bridgeport, they clean one room and then leave
