This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.
But it's how I did it. - Věda a technologie
Your desk is calming to me. An empty desk is sad and uninspiring.

over too soon! love it.
Great bargins 🙂
Nice 👍 hello from 🇫🇷👋
Those 3.5mm sockets are freaky to open. Never seen those before.
ah yes, the famous "CBSA yellow" tape.... always opening EVERYTHING electronic with those anti-static bags, whenever it comes through the mail sorting centers (whether it be destination or departure)
I get lots of stuff on ebay where the seller makes a loss.
Some just cancel the order (or don't post it) rather than take the hit.
Why don't they just have a Reserve or a Starting Price which covers Postage ?
Those TRRS connectors are quite useful for a number of things. They can work as normal stereo 3.5's at a pinch, but also good with a lot of modern laptops that have TRRS connections instead of separate microphone input. A good pickup :).
I’ve heard rumors that eBay sellers who lose money on auctions do so in the hope that you’ll keep coming back to them rather than check for lowest price. It’s a sensible business strategy and probably works or they wouldn’t still do it.
To bad that a multipack of tp4056 boards couldn't be found under auction. I have like a 100. Very useful for diy security lighting around my property.
Mounting those TP4056-like chargers always causes me consternation. They can get hot, so would like to mount them with pins, in a removable way on a PCB -- but the holes never quite align to a 0.1" grid.
When CC1 and CC2 are tied to ground with 5.1k resistors, you can get 3A@5V from most USB-C wall-worts. Maybe yours are that way already?
Well, anyhow, that might be an efficient way to charge three different cells in parallel, if 1A is the max current.
Am assuming you have a huge pile of salvaged 18650's from laptop batteries.
I have fallen out of love with the TP4056. They are basically a programmed resistor and shed the excess voltage between the source voltage and the cell by getting hot. The best place to put a heatsink is on the bottom side but then you have to be careful about shorting things out. They also burn out because there is no reverse polarity protection, so they are best used when the cell is soldered in and not for a daily charger with a bay, where it's too easy to get the polarity wrong. Also, the 1A limit that some people say they can exceed did not work on the units I got, the most is about 1200 mA. I've ordered a IP2312 charger module to give that a try, Great Scott recommends them and says they are better in these regards.
@@pault6533 Thanks, looking into the IP2312 -- beefier! My newer TP4056 modules (HW-107) have 8205a battery protection (power out on separate pads) as well as reverse polarity protection. Grateful for that last one, as I have blown up several (d'oh). Yup, replacing the current-set resistor would be painful. It is tiny.
Did CBSA open the box because they thought you were importing live grubs?
More like fentanyl.
Maybe the lable said 'Grubs screw' ? LOL
Maybe they were just bored?
I bet they looked like bullets on the X-Ray, so they opened it.
Is it Monday again so soon 🙂
Any chance to make the listings PC mic a bit louder to level the volumes between it and the desk, because with my hyperacusis I have to turn the vol up and down a lot.
This *is* the improved version...
I have the same problem.I wish I could find an audio compander on my speaker output.
