Music works before you go to bed and I smoked weed for over 4 years and for a couple of days I've been choghing I wonder why
@@blackightlee9255usually the mucus in you lungs start to loosen up starting to clean itself.
28 days sober!!! 35 year addiction. I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH Dr. Frank. It’s hard to explain but You have helped me meet me & I’m finally falling in love with myself :)
This is what it’s all about Mary!!! 😌😌love it!
Congrats ! I just threw away the rest of the weed I had while listening to this video. I'm ready for a better life. Today is my day 0. Wish me luck !
@@CookWithStephh best wishes to you!!! You really CAN do it!! I never thought after smoking daily for 35 years, I’d ever be able to be weed free, yet here I am on day 91!!! & despite loneliness, loosing my grandad, relocating to San Diego where I know no one, a divorce from a diagnosed narcissist, no sex for damn near two years, complete isolation & turning the big 50 in January, I have never felt better! Lol felt like my life is in the season of a sad country song :) But My mind is clear, my appetite is normal, I’m less depressed, my breath smells better, have more energy & I’m not spending a fortune. Your first month will be difficult, you may have crazy dreams, insomnia, lack of appetite & cry more than usual, but it passes and will be well worth it. Be gentle with yourself, drink lots of water, eat light, go for walks, ride the waves of emotions & practice encouraging yourself with positive words. I also used GABA with L-theanine, 5000 iu of D3, and NAC 900 mg 2x per day as advised by a holistic Dr. to help with withdrawal & depression. detoxing from heavy news, watching stand up & listening to Jason Stephenson 8 hour meditations at night/during sleep to help my mind rest helped a lot too. Writing a pro/con list & writing reasons to stop on my mirror also helped. Researching the effects of weed on the body & Dr. Frank & Dr. Gabor Mate videos helped tremendously. The damage is rarely spoken of- especially in California & as a hip hop head where it’s “just part of the culture”. I know how hard it is to quit so Im VERY PROUD OF YOU for taking the leap towards the best version of yourself. Extend yourself grace if you relapse and then begin again. It’s the most loving thing I’ve ever done for myself. May you extend yourself the same love, you’re more than worthy & your future self will thank you. Sending you extra strength endurance & a hug. Congratulations You got this!!! 🙏🏽🤎😊

Update brother
@@jamiebloor2064 “quitting smoking is easy, I’ve done it a thousand times” 😭
But in all seriousness I keep quitting and getting drawn back in from the pink cloud…I recently quit for 41 days before starting to smoke again…I noticed that every time I quit I start doing better in life and every time I start smoking again it’s like a dark cloud comes over my life…when I quit smoking I can stop other bad habits like adult media content/fapping and when I smoke “idgaf” but then after the deed I regret it much more….smoking makes me lazy and lethargic, makes me unable to hold my bladder, makes me say shit I shouldn’t have when conversing with people, makes me do shit I shouldn’t have, etc….
Starting to realize I really am chasing that feeling of smoking with my friends when we were younger but now I have no friends that smoke as much as me, doesn’t really feel like I have any friends at all…feels like everyone grew out of smoking and went on with their lives and I’m still stuck living in my teen years….even this past week I only spent like $83.00 on 3 joints and a vape and I’m mad at myself for wasting that money on a flower to burn up, thinking about all the other shit I could’ve did with that money, even it was something small like buying self development books
Sometimes I quit for 175 days, sometimes 80 days, sometimes only 41 days like this last stint but everytime I return the regret is more and more, and everytime I come back I realize just how much brainwashing i have to do just in order to smoke….that first high always makes me feel sick and near the point of blacking out…but then when I get “low” or back to normal I feel below baseline and smoke again and BOOM I’m back in the cycle….
You should check out the book “the easy way to quit smoking” by Alan Carr…It talks about this brainwashing
Anyways after This vape hopefully I can put down this segment of my life and stop smoking for good. Each time I return and have a bad high and see my life going the wrong direction it further stamps the need to stop smoking for good
Im about 16 hours in , longest I’ve gone in years . Already started biting my fingers till bloody . It’s gonna suck but I need to do this for myself and the ppl I love . I can do this ❤
Crying my eyes out from anxiety while watching this video. It’s been 2 days after today and I’m literally going crazy but it will be okay we are so strong for even taking this action, just trying to remember that. Wishing everyone luck and strength.

Day 0 , wish me luck
Headaches, insomnia and horrible nightmares over here on day 5. Last night my friend and I were covering up a murder we did (in my nightmare) and it was just horrific. The night before someone drained my bank account because I gave him my card and PIN and I lost my life savings and retirement fund. Then while I was trying to find him to see if I could get it back a war broke out around us all in an incredibly crowded situation and it seemed like hours of frantic terror for the pathetic 3 hours of sleep I got. Woke up drenched in sweat and terrified. Anyhoo... I know this will be worth it! 🎉
Hope you are still clean! With those vivid dreams I had horrible nightmares too but I noticed that the anxiety I had before each nights sleep made the dreams always bad. Dr frank has said this in a video before but go into each nights sleep with a positive mindset because you can’t stop the dreams anyway. Your dreams become much more positive and sometimes amazing. I had the best dreams of my life during the quitting period ( also the worst dreams as well lol) but yea good luck stay strong 💪
I've had dreams like that, the murder one, absolutely HORRIBLE.
I had a stomach bug that caused me to not smoke for a week. Then when I tried to smoke lil here and there I felt HORRIBLE!....I didn't understand why my stomach bug wasn't going away! It's because I was withdrawling off 15 years of everyday pot smoking! I was so dumbfounded and didn't even know this could happen! It made me quit altogether and your videos helped me with that. Thank you for all you do
I also smoked weed for 15 years. I'm 4 days sober today. Ready to heal.

You can do it my fellow stoners.
Also don't fall for CBD it still makes you want something to feel better and that's just addiction.
This is exactly the truth! The tip to stopping is stoping and the end of the day quitting is the same for each of us, we just stop one day, how complex and hard we choose to make that process is up to us!

I have smoked weed daily for 10 years and I was recently diagnosed with Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, it's been very emotional and depressing. As I was smoking so much I had to start by cutting down. I am currently 4 days sober and genuinely so proud of myself. I know that it is going to be tough, I struggle with the vivd dreams... felt a bit crap when you said the symptoms can last up to 90 days! I have recently got in to the aquarium hobby and started up a youtube to help fill my time. It is hard but finding other people who have been though it has been a big help for me!

This is the video that convinced me to quit cannabis. I was ready for whatever symptoms came my way. It’s day ten, and it’s been shockingly easy. I’ve had a little bit of irritability, a touch of insomnia, and absolutely wild dreams, but that’s it. I was vaping dry herb and occasionally using edibles, but no carts and rarely using concentrate, so I wonder if that’s part of why withdrawal has been so easy for me. Thank you for the motivation and encouragement your videos provide!
After ten days of no use, I feel amazing. My motivation to do things is higher, thinking is clearer, energy is higher. My agoraphobia has almost entirely gone away and I feel an urge to leave the house, which hasn’t happened in three years. I didn’t realize how much regular cannabis use was impacting me.
I am genuinely excited to live each day sober. For a while, cannabis was really fun and sparked my creativity, but it wore out its welcome when it was no longer worth the price I had to pay.
Here’s to many more days with a clear mind and an energized heart!

thanks for this … i’m really struggling with THC addiction.. can’t even go a week without it. praying this video will help me change my mindset to quit.
After almost 8-10 years of smoking weed, i am on day 120 without any use of Thc, alcoholic or any kind of drug substances. I know it’s really hard especially when at the same time you have to deal with an arduous breakup. There has been 2 months now since i moved to another country which marijuana is legal (Netherlands) and at first it was really hard to ease the urge to smoke because even my roommate does it. The thing is that all the cravings have now gone, my issue seems to be more of psychological, of course I can’t blame weed for these feelings but it certainly affected them as it was a part of me for many years. Anyways I want to encourage you to keep going if you have quitted and to tell you that practicing meditation and exercise/eating clean helped me along the way. Just to give you a small piece of advice that helped me personally. Take care everyone and lets reach 365 days of being sober!
I come from Holland Amsterdam and live middle in the city.....born there.
I smoked 25 years cigarettes and last 10 years weed everyday the strongest Amnesia haze €20 a day
I quit everything 1 year now cold turkey and no help, medicine and i am alone.....all mindset, discipline, focus and attitude.
Everyday i walk across coffeeshops but it does nothing to me and dont miss it.
I sport a lot and change my life radical.
You still stopped?

Ginger is a wonderful and natural thing. I used it when I was pregnant. I also use ginger for migraine. Powder ginger 1tsp. in squash juice or water.
So greatful for this!!! I’ve been terrified to stop because of my mental health and the withdrawals in rehab I went through just from weed was insane! Struggling so much today you really are helping me thank you so much
Dr. Frank I can't thank you enough for this video. I've been an off and on weed smoker since I was 14 years old, I am now 50. Since weed became legal in Ca. 2016 I started vaping it hard core everyday all day. for the past 2 years I've been trying to quit only to fail due to nausea and vertigo. I am 5 days in on quitting right now and have been sick as hell (no vomiting thank God). I just tried the ginger tip for the nausea and it's working. I will probably watch this video over and over till I'm free. I've looked up a lot of videos and this was the best most informative I have found! I'm gonna subscribe and check out more of your vids! God bless and have an awesome day.
Wow. I can’t believe you replied. I seriously pray for you everyday because I started my process easier due to your videos. Knowledge is pretty empowering. God bless you man!
I've never seriously considered stopping smoking until coming across this channel and watching a couple videos. Keep it up, more people my age need to see this.
These videos have helped me so much these last few days after quitting. Thank You so much for sharing this amount of information and I hope whoever is going through weed withdrawals gets through it. 💌
Thanks for posting these videos!! It so helpful to know what to expect when quitting weed. on day 2!
Thank you for the motivation. Your video is helping me day 1.
I've been almost 10 months without weed and feel like I am about to fail. Anxiety and insomnia have gotten worse. I started to go to the gym and it's helping a little.
@@Health77drm Yes, definitely. Also, I enrolled into another language lessons so I keep myself busy during the day. What has helped me is to do enough things all day so I get tired at night.
I love you, thank you for putting your experience out there and just helping us who want to quit, you deserve a medal and a massive hug ❤
day 3. I am hurting but I know it's part of the process and will go away in a week or 2. lingering anxiety depersonalization extreme fatigue.
It gets better!
@@AddictionMindset thank you Dr Frank. I've been watching your videos for a while. I've quit 3 times prior and always go thru withdrawals and I still fall back into the addiction. this time I have to due to health reasons. it makes my sleep apnea worst.
day 52 of no weed and day 38 no caffeine....WOW....my mind is soooooo....clear now. while I do have some anxiety now and then, this is the clearest I've been in a while.
@@PrisonJunky congrats man! I’m on day 10 still dealing with appetite issues, any advice? When did you stop having withdrawals?
@@myman8278 I would give physical issues at least 30 days. that's about when the withdrawals turned. the psychological withdrawals might last longer if you used strong concentrates and edibles. to be honest it wasn't as bad as quitting caffeine and coffee. it was horrible really jacked up my digestive system. more physical than mental. weed was more mental for me. make sure to eat even if it's a small meal exercise as most as your body will let you. stay hydrated. use a water intake app to help remind you how much to drink daily. meditation it's a must. for reals. day 64 no weed. day 50 no caffeine.
Thank you so much for this channel and the videos you continue to upload! Your videos help me out a ton! Im currently on Day 3 i had my last smoke on sunday evening! Withdrawal has been awful however im following all your advice and i can say its 100% working! I'm so glad i finally feel understood and like im not going crazy! After weed, i plan to quit nicotine which i will be following your videos and advice for, so once again thank you so much!!! I would never of have the balls to try quit if it wasnt for this channel!
Heck yes!!!! I am thrilled to have you as part of this community. Every one who struggles with addiction has all of the traits they need to quit. Grit, persistence, obsession, determination.... and the list goes on, you are simply using those traits to feed addiction vs overcome addiction. I know you got this!
congrats Rundink! I quit both and have stayed off both w the help of this channel as well. You can do it!
You should have quit the nicotine first because nicotine is physically addictive but weed isn't...I'm on day forty and only symptom I had from weed cessation was a little aggravation...I've heard war stories about nicotine withdrawal
Thanks for this, genuinely.
2 weeks and 3 days sober 🥰
Glad to be here with ya on two weeks and three days!
@@AddictionMindset thank you so so much 🥺❤
Thanks for these videos. Perfect timing! Day one, bring it on!
Happy to have ya here! Welcome to day one!

My wife and I have been using your videos to steer us through our son's problems with withdrawl. He is having significant problems with nausea and diarrhoea and we are concerned because he quit 4 weeks ago. Does anyone know why the nausea and vomiting are lasting so long ? The videos help him as well as us. Keep up the good work and have a good year in 2022.
Is he feeling better now? Im 16 and recently quit smoking weed 7 days ago struggling to eat at all it’s giving me extreme nausea hoping the end is in sight havent eaten more than a few minuscule bites of a meal here and there (typically only once or twice a day) for 4 days this shit is rough hope your son is doing well
Thank you so much for this video ❤❤
For anyone also going through it the withdrawal for the fist time like me and man it's absolutely not great for me i had to be in the hospital from how much I was thrown up and just extremely nauseous everything made me throw up and my stomach was burning like someone poured hot liquid metal on the inside of the top of my stomach. started happening on the 3 day I'm on 5 and it's does get better sooner then you think just have to pull through cuz it's rough after just know what you are doing is beautiful and you are stronger and greater for doing this you are not alone
thank you alot! I have been addicted to THC gummies for over a year and went cold turkey. Started having cold sweats and shakiness, nausea and I just didn't know what to do, your video has helped me so much though through the process of detoxing myself. Thank you so much!
I didnt know like 99% of this, but all that you said was on point all the way through. All of your tips have helped me get through the extream nausea of withdrawls thst was a main reason why i couldnt quite in the first place. Now i dont get sick no more. And im clean off the green after 15+ years of smoking. God bless you man.🙏 ima save your video for people who i come across with this problem.
Thank you so much for your videos they so helpful ❤
Love Ya Doc, getting ready to go again......
Guys I have been smoking for 8yrs straight and I am starting my journey today....wish me luck❤
hey dude i frickin love ur videos, thankyou thankyou thankyou endlessly for your work.
Day 1 into a 2wk break after smoking basically every day for the past 5-ish months. Not bad so far, other than feeling a lil' bit anxious. Should be pretty easy, will keep u guys updated.
Day 3 - the insomnia definitely sucks, but it's not as bad as I was expecting. Melatonin helps big time. Something that's a lot worse than I was expecting is the sweats 😂 I can't imagine they'll stick around for a ton longer tho. So far like a 3/10 in terms of difficulty
Crazy I’m feeling my mind change as I’m detoxing I can make clearer truthful decisions and conclusions even if it’s about myself
These symptoms are spot on! When u started with the insomnia I was like "yeah true". Then u hit with the nausea/dehydration and malnutrition and I was totally relating to that, But.. When u said "Next I want to talk about headache".. God I get all of that, I had to pause it because it was to real to actually see other people struggling too. I'm planning on starting college soon. I want to be able to learn and perform 100% and actually not hermit in a corner of class until day is done. I'm deciding on dental hygienist starting as dental assistant or information technology which are both different. I want to see who I really am before I pick a career and make better decisions. Weed really is a prison if used wrong. I love me sober more. ☺️
Thank u so much for talking about this openly and encouraging and motivating me and everyone else who See's or seeks help.
Day 3 and things are rough! Got all the bad withdrawal symptoms!😢
