*What other albums, artists or genres would you want to see explored in a future video? Let me know!*
You have to check out eefullanizess. They're weird as hell.
you much into boards of canada?
I would love it if you checked out Rupert Lalley. Dude makes some very atmospheric music
u should listen to chipmunks on 16 speed, their music is basically just slowed down alvin and the chipmunks songs but its cool
yellow swans - going places.
My younger brother came up to me when i was watching, and he asked "Are you listening CHUD PUDDING?", and I laughed.
chud pudding
CHUD PUDDING?
Virtual Utopia is an utopia where everyone gets their copies of Macintosh Plus' pink vinyl.
Pad, I don't know if you are aware, but Cesar Alexandre passed away last month from coronavirus. He is the composer behind early vapor music from Lindsheaven Virtual Plaza, as well as the Mount Shrine dark ambient music on Cryo Chamber, and the Mount Hibiki project. Maybe do a deep dive into his music?
DDS never fails to push whatever genre they decide to work with.
And their sampling could be really creative sometimes!
Literally was watching a Virtual Utopia set and saw this notification.
I'm a simple man. I see Pad in my notifications, I click.
Is that famous Vaporwave enthusiast, Daydream Deluxe?
🙏
No way! I just got the record, and now there's a Pad video for it :D Love you man!
Oh neat, this also happened to me but in reverse order, definitely by absolute coincidence!
For real tho, thanks Pad for bringing my attention to that blue vinyl. Gonna be my first physical dds record and I'm hella excited.
Finally Pad's back to finish my Friday in a floaty vibe much love you appreciate all that you do for the vaporwave community :)
Enjoy! much love and thanks for stopping by :)
He has risen
waddup doe
I absolutely adore DDS 🥰
Brilliant deep dive Pad, you're always asking the questions about Vaporwave that few others have or care to. And once you ask them, it's like opening a door we didn't realize was there the whole time.
TTFN K? is such a beautiful track, blows my mind every time. Great vid, Pad!
A nice unintended response to the whole “vaporhell” thing 😁
Utopian Virtual: the perfect music genre
Hi mr tabby how you doin?
WAKE UP BABE NEW PAD UPLOAD
God, I seriously love all the content you put out. I look forward to every new release and I love rewatching older album videos and genre breakdowns of yours. Helps take me out of reality for a moment and go somewhere else, discover something new, calm me down. I absolutely admire your dedication!
It always is a sunny day when I click on a Pad Chennington video I love. And I mean that literally, one of my best simple moments of the past few years was watching the Bepis review on a sunny day in my truck, eating honey coated peanuts.
I put this record in a playlist with other stuff that blends acoustic with electronic production like Ginla’s ‘Codex’ (it doesn’t happen on a majority of the tracks on this one but when it does it’s very nice) and Bruno Janiszewski’s ‘Sinews of The Perpetual’ (please look into him if you like Folk, Drone and/or Noise music) and it flows SUPER good despite each of those examples taking elements from much different genres for the electronic components. The acoustic guitar keeps it thematically together pretty well.
The transition from Bow & Arrow and Plaza Winds is just perfect
I'm sure you get this all the time, but your avatar is SOOO CUTE!! I love his giant ears and eyes!
You sold me on this album brother just snagged one of the last copies of the vinyl
Your video production skills have gotten so much better. Amazing.
WOOOO Just in time baby!
Holy guacamole! That sunset art on a vinyl is gorgeous! 🌅❤
Fantastic video! I was stoked last week to finally hold a physical copy of this in my hands and absolutely blessed to have released this for James, 7 long years ago, this one was a game changer and this video is absolute evidence of it! ❤️❤️✨
Ayyy Pad! It’s been too long man I love your work so much. Keep up the awesome work brother! Much love
Perfect timing! My sunset vinyl just arrived today and as always with DDS I'm absolutely amazed by their release. James has put down some amazing work for that album.
Could you talk about Matrix Metals - Flamingo Breeze? It's an album from 2009 that gives me huge synthy ECCO jam vibes and the guy even made a song called So Unreal in 2010 that has huge vaporware vibes, I think I did discover another hidden pioneer of vapor
Yes Pad! Let's go into this musical journey!
:^)
I don't listen to these kinds of music but your videos are taking me in. Your depictions and talks are just too good.
I really love these videos. I think they're so insightful and introduce a whole bunch of people to something they might not otherwise notice. Big ups!
:) thank you! That’s always the goal with em! Enjoy the grooves and keep on jammin , thanks for watching!
Hey Pad, you should cover the rise in underground Trance music that’s been developing over the last year or so on SoundCloud and Bandcamp. It seems there’s a small revival of the 90s/2000s Trance scene and I can name Himera, DJ Loser, and Drainpuppet as names that I can immediately recall. I’d like to see who else you can find if you investigate the scene for a video!
90's trance is back?!😐
@@tilsgee Creeping back slowly
Got damn I love Pads videos… not seen one for a while, salute!
I listened off the back of this video and loved it. Thanks
another great video as usual!
Just ordered this on vinyl the other day! Easily one of my favourite artists I've found recently
great video i liked it a lot!! just to give you an idea, why don't you make a video on infinity frequencies? i think it would be very interesting and i really hope you are going to release something related to that
PAD'S BACK BABYYYY
that dudes face invokes fear, cant and wont explain
Shroudies, get synced!
fire video as always pad
good video! for the curious, James' shirt says something like "at the top/peak" in Korean. just sayin'
That’s my favorite DERELICTメガタワー merch. So glad I nabbed it
“Can you make it to the top?”
Just bought the vinyl 💙
Missed these old style vapor genre videos!
Duuuude I just found your channel and I loooove the stuff you cover, there's a few artists I'd like for you to check out plus the genre of music they are in. Its called vocaloid! But not just the regular jpop, stuff like Kikuo, Utsu-P, Wowaka (rip), and others you can explore. These artists all have their own unique way of using vocaloid, with utsu p and his heavy metal, kikuo and their instrumental/dreamy style mixed with the heavy topics. And wowaka, bless his soul, is a legend and I just recommend him in general. Hope you see this! You might like what you find with the stuff you're into!
Missed you Pad!
Was so refreshing making a new video! The new label took up so much of my time hahaha finally got a week to cook up a new vid for the channel.. hoping to crank out some more soon!
Very good! Holy cow!
My vinyl copy is on the way :)
another banger from ya boi himself!!
by the thumbnail i thought this was gonna be MBDTF
Man I'd really like to see some videos like this but on things like Progressive Rock/Metal, Black Metal, Avant-garde Classical stuff.
VUE is a wonderful album, afterall, videoversion of it on VHS tape by Baudway records is also gorgeous ^^
P.S. - wonder to see more videos about Infinity Frequencies albums or Internet Club :D
babe wake up, pad posted another dds video
Wake da whole house up
@@PadChennington YESSIR!!!
I put out an avant-garde album last month called The Midnight Special under the name of Sandshone that I’d love to hear your thoughts on! I’m not Stockhausen by any means but I’m still very proud!

The revolutionary idea of not stealing...

@@jeffpower145 is that a meme?
Pad did you remove your death dream video? i can't find it anywhere
Actually I think one of the most rewarding projects out there is Zoviet France, with all of it associated projects.
what is chennington pad?
Sovietwave!!! Pls do some!!!
Apparently no one noticed how the second track samples the second Dragon Ball Z opening.
At first when I listened to it the first time, I realized that really was Dragon Ball Z and somehow my mind at the time just went "what??" I still love this album.
The video is greet but theres too many ads
this reminds me of d e i t a n on bandcamp lol
I missed you pad lol

How does this video have just 7000 views? HOW?
Let's talk about Condoléances by moonbow1

This is literally just Everywhere At The End Of Times, brother, but not nearly as fucked up, while still following after it’s dark twisted brother.

You disappeared for too long. Don't scare me like that again, papi.
P.S. Still waiting on your retake on The Caretaker
It's spelled "its", Pad...
LOL thank you :)

who’s tryna do the cayo perico heist?
vaporhell
pad, i regret to inform you, but i have over 5000 hours in ff14, but i have never once heard the twin faces of fate. i think based on its place on before meteor, it must've been a 1.0 track? i suppose that does make it more special, though, for the people who've been playing ff14 since its inception...
